On November 9, Beck devoted his Fox News program to attacks on philanthropist George Soros.

And Glenn Beck seriously expects George Soros to sit idly by...

One possible explanation for that is that Glenn Beck is psychotic.

Hey, Glenn...Soros has given away more money than you'll ever make. He can squash you like a bug.

Oh, this is gonna be fun to watch... ;>)

Beck is an entertainer, it was a very entertaining show. Beck wants Soros to respond, he waqnts to boost his ratings.

Soros already responded in a threatening luncheon with Fox Execs. But I'll bet you didn't know that.

Let's hope Beck has crossed the line, if anyone has the power to take legal action and really push back it's George Soros.

This is not news. If his lips are moving, Beck is no doubt telling a big lie. I think he has had so much booze in his lifetime that he no longer has the moxie to figure stuff out in any sane way. Add to that his chronic racism, and his inability to analyze the sumplest thing correctly, and there you have it, the entire Beck Schtick! Oh I forgot, add in a huge ego to the mix that precludes him from any reasonable assessment of facts. He simply makes them up to suit himself. He just lies.

So Beck's previous "boozing" has led to him not thinking clearly today? You might want to recant that assertion. There are a lot of alcoholics out there who would be outraged at your statement. Did the alcohol affect Ted Kennedy's judgement as a Senator? And what about Bill Wilson, the man who started Alcolholic's Anonymous? Where would alcoholics be without him? He sobered up and created an organization that helped others like him to conquer this illness. I don't have a problem with anything else that you've said but your attack on his alcoholism insults all of those who have suffered from this disease. That was a hateful remark. That type of insensitivity is exactly what you are accusing Beck of.

After this particular clip it dawned on me why Glenn sees Soros as his nemesis. Glenn is offended by the implication that Soros sees him as the Lonesome Roads character in 'A Face in the Crowd'. Poor Glenn, how thin skinned can a person be?

When Soros gave Beck's Boss that DVD, it was a threat, not a gift.

I think you need to open your eyes as to what is actually going on with this website.

Wow! Anyone else see the simularities in Lenny Bruce and Glenn Beck. If you do not recall Lenny spent his entire life on and off stage in the court room and into his battle with the government.

When I watched Lenny Bruce it always looked like he really believed that everyone was as interested in his case aginst the govenment as he was.

I just saw glimpses of that. just now watching that clip. It sent chills up my back. Lenny all over.

So the Center for American Progress is now a "shadow government"? Boy, I'll bet they will be delighted to learn how powerful they really are. Interesting how Beck loves to take simple, commonplace facts (e.g. George Soros funds some liberal group and they share similar goals and ideals) and turn them into some shadowy conspiracy just through the sheer magic of scrawling lines on a blackboard.

I don't have any video editing skills but as I'm watching this I keep thinking it would be fun to replace all of the photos and names of Beck's villains with right-wing personalities: Rupert Murdoch, the Puppet Master! Rupert's puppets: Beck, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, NY Post, WSJ, etc... would something like that convince any of Beck's followers that they're being fed a pile of nonsense? (Probably not.)

I also like how Beck argues that Soros thinks he is God by quoting from a newspaper interview, and briefly showing a highlighted paragraph from that interview. In the couple of seconds the image is on screen, if you look beyond the highlighted sentences, you can see the full context: Soros is laughing, poking fun at himself. Not so sinister in that context, though, so we'll just leave that out. Un-f**ing-believable.

Actually that is an old psychological problem in Beck called "projection", He is so mixed up himself that he feels others are having the same problems as he is. Of course it is most often delusions. It is the sort of thing that hppens to the brain when it has been alcohol soaked for years and years.

That show had Soros IN HIS OWN WORDS, over and over again. Step away from your hate of the messenger and see that he's coming to reasonable conclusions based on the man's own words.

Soros' intent is coming into focus.

He worms (buys) his way into the Democratic Party, gains political power to the point that the Democrat Party is now socialist. He creates and supports media/research outlets, drafts legislation and stimulus packages (Tides), gets the US to spend BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS in stimulus/bailouts pushing our country to the financial brink so that he can profit from the devaluation of the dollar while we all suffer the consequences.

So after we fall off the cliff, what's next?

I can't believe the people on this site are not seeing what we're seeing.

Soros talking in his own words and believe me those are soundbites because Beck can back each and everyone of them up. He's no dummy. He knows they'll be after him now and he's got plenty of backup.

So, now Soros is going to be the 'nice guy' and rebut. Don't fall for any of it. These sites are seriously flawed...just by looking at what they highlight as what matters in media (i.e., FOX?) they have an agenda.

Unfortunately for Glenn, it also had words before and after Glenn's hit job that showed Glenn to be involved is total distortion of the facts. If you read sentences before and after his high lighted sentences you would see that Glenn's take was totally distorted. But in the end, George Soros does not need me to defend him. Glenn is not REALLY all that honest in his effort to do Soros in and in the end, Glenn makes himself look very selective in what he states even though he often posts more things that show Glenn to totally distorting the facts.

So, Human Rights Activist = Anarchist.

Who are the people actually sitting through this nonsense? Seriously, who in their right mind watches this guy?

Do they understand the things Beck says as the gospel truth? Or, do they understand that some of it is to be taken with a grain of salt and that the stories he tells are mostly true? Or, can they understand that this is pretty much all nonsense?

I get this much: They are older, fearful white people and mostly male. He knows his audience demographic precludes them from knowing how to research and investigate.

I would love to know how they test on IQ, common sense and reality.

      Anyone seen any studies published?

No, Human Rights Activists do not equal Anarchists. That's the point. They don't know what they're dealing with. They are possibly the pawns in other peoples' agendas.

Perhaps you, too, are a pawn because you seem to believe in this stuff.

Sad indeed. I see you people as sad indeed. Blind followers of a person you know nothing of. Or perhaps not so blind followers of a person you know much about. Which is it?

That's funny because George Soros devotes ALL HIS TIME AND MONEY to attacking FOX and GLENN BECK! Have any of you noticed this entire website's content is attacking the right?

Now why would you think that so? Why do you think Soros' friend met with Fox's Executive to stop Glenn Beck? Are you all that (pardon the expression) stupid? What is blinding you?

I get a kick out of Irony 101's comment: 'Hey, Glenn...Soros has given away more money than you'll ever make. He can squash you like a bug.' Do you believe George Soros' person monies should be used to squashing free speech? If you do, you've got a huge problem. George Soros is dangerous. As for any 'unauthorized' books out there...there is no such thing as an 'unauthorized book'.
In fact, it's the 'unauthorized' books that give the best info.

Hey IRONY 101: What is it about FREE SPEECH that you don't understand? Is it MONEY or CONTENT?

I just want to take the time and thank all of you and MMFA. For a long time I've been a frustrated educated person who's had to endure daily stupidity from what seems to be the slight majority of this country. The fact that these people cling to a man who has put in a prank phone call to a woman who miscarried is so disgusting, so sad, and so pathetic that it truely makes me fear for the future of our great country. The founding fathers would be rolling in their graves if they could see how their names are being soiled by arrogant, ignorant, sociopathic liars such as Beck, Limbaugh, Palin and the rest of the disgraces of the GOP. While not all of the GOP is evil, those who aren't stand by and let the crazies dictate the direction of the party. Finding MMFA has been truely uplifting, and I'm glad I'm not alone and that there is a source of light in a darkening sky.
