Glenn Beck's Broken Record Keeps Right On Spinning

We're only a few weeks into the new year, and as of yesterday there have been 17 episodes of Glenn Beck on Fox News in 2011, 16 of which Beck has hosted (Andrew Napolitano filled in on January 3). A quick Nexis search reveals that in those 16 episodes, Beck has:

  • Mentioned Van Jones at least 32 times.
  • Mentioned William Ayers at least 12 times.
  • Mentioned propagandist and ad man Edward Bernays at least 80 times.
  • Mentioned Obama adviser Cass Sunstein at least 22 times.

Neither Van Jones nor William Ayers have been in the news for months, and yet Beck still mentions them nearly every day. Edward Bernays has been dead for 16 years. Beck airs the same years-old audio clip of Cass Sunstein over...
