There was no official Republican response to President Obama's speech on his jobs bill, but Fox News gave Sarah Palin a generous 15 minutes of airtime on America Live to give her opinion on the proposal.
Palin described the proposal as a "blank check," blamed the Obama administration for being in a "panic mode" and "creating crisis" when he urged passage of the legislation and accused Obama of "arrogance."
After Palin gave her views on the jobs proposal, Kelly asked Palin to critique the performance of Republicans in their debate on MSNBC.

Softball Question(s) of the Week: From the September 9 edition of America Live, host Megyn Kelly asked Sarah Palin this:
KELLY: Before I let you go, do you have any stage envy when you watch these guys? I mean, you were out there, you actually were the vice presidential nominee, these guys that want to be the presidential nominee on the Republican ticket. Do you have any envy? And is it to the extent where you might actually throw your hat into the ring still?

Previous Fox Primary Reports
Media Matters searched the Nexis database for all guest appearances on Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, and Fox News Sunday for the 13 declared and potential presidential candidates in question: Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Rudy Giuliani, Jon Huntsman, Gary Johnson, Thad McCotter, Sarah Palin, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Buddy Roemer, Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum.
For programs where a transcript was unavailable, Media Matters reviewed the raw video.
Changes to the reports
Media Matters added McCotter to the data beginning on June 20 and Roemer beginning on July 18.
We stopped including Pawlenty and Trump in the data beginning on August 14; Pawlenty dropped out of the race on that date. And while Trump stated that he would no longer seek the Republican nomination but may instead run as an independent (on June 1, the beginning of this report), we decided to drop him from the data on this date.
We stopped including Bolton in the data beginning on September 6; Bolton decided not to run on this date.
*Correction: We have dropped all DeMint data from the report. During Laura Ingraham's June 14 show, DeMint told the conservative talk radio host that he is "not considering" a run for president in 2012. Media Matters regrets the error.
