O'Reilly Enlists In Beck's Campaign Against Frances Fox Piven

Bill O'Reilly appears ready to take on Glenn Beck's crusade against City University of New York professor Frances Fox Piven. After airing comments Piven made in support of the Occupy Wall Street protesters, O'Reilly called Piven a "communist sympathizer" who O'Reilly said was "outed by Glenn Beck."
What O'Reilly did not point out is that Beck's constant demonization of Piven led to death threats:
On his daily radio and television shows, Glenn Beck has elevated once-obscure conservative thinkers onto best-seller lists. Recently, he has elevated a 78-year-old liberal academic to celebrity of a different sort, in a way that some say is endangering her life.
Frances Fox Piven, a City University of New York professor, has been a primary character in Mr. Beck's warnings about a progressive take-down of America. Ms. Piven, Mr. Beck says, is responsible for a plan to "intentionally collapse our economic system."
Her name has become a kind of shorthand for "enemy" on Mr. Beck's Fox News Channel program, which is watched by more than 2 million people, and on one of his Web sites, The Blaze. This week, Mr. Beck suggested on television that she was an enemy of the Constitution.
Never mind that Ms. Piven's radical plan to help poor people was published 45 years ago, when Mr. Beck was a toddler. Anonymous visitors to his Web site have called for her death, and some, she said, have contacted her directly via e-mail.
Responding to these death threats, several professional academic associations called on Beck to end his vilification of her. He refused to stop his attacks.

Don't take my word for it, ask any 7 year old girl.
Shouldn't Billo the Clown keep his focus a little closer to home?
Death Threats? No, but his Wife's COP Boyfriend had better watch where his hands roam.
Speak truth to power.
Mr. News
What is it, anyway?
Likewise that freedom of religion only covers Judaism and Christianity.
Nothing else is freedomy enough.
Many wingnuts I know cannot even handle being greeted by the simple phrase 'seasons greetings' at Christmastime. They get 'insulted' that an anonymous store clerk did not specifically and openly acknowledge 'their' holiday. And en masse they complain that their is a war against Christmas.
There's nothing wrong with being a communist, not that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing anyone who actually professed to being one.
It is just that labeling people as communists worked so well at identifying a "boogey man" for everyone to believe in and fear that the right wing is still pushing that meme.
Not that they are working at making "progressives" the new "boogey man".
Dont try explaining to the communists and nazis are actually opposing ideologies. They'll just claim you admitted to being a nazi if you do.
Evil, Idiots, or Crazy? Will that question ever find resolution? No. No it will not.

IMHO
UTOPIA
This is the price you pay for the 1st Ammendment. In the UK Brillo would not only be off the air permanantly for the Tiller stuff, he'd be serving time for incitement.
Further evidence of how much of a tough guy Bill O'Reilly is. It takes a big man to take pot shots at 78-year-old woman when she isn't even there to respond to such an arcane accusation.
I wonder why he didn't have her on his show? Oh yeah, if she was on the show even at 78 that she could intellectually eviscerate O'Reilly.
This guy is such a chump. I get the feeling that his days on TV are counting down fast.
my first clue that this woman is an enemy of the FOXbots?
She's a "Professor."
Your bold 'n' fresh buddy made Cloward Piven a star?
The Fox Party: Taking Us Boldly Into the 1950s.
Imagine what Stearns would have said after Sputnik went up, "We can't compete with the Soviets." Or after Pearl Harbor, "We can't compete with the Japanese."
I would say "Zero". Do you have links to back up this accusation?
