Right-wing Blogger Codrea Takes Credit For "Unacceptable" Holder Nazi Photo

On October 11th Media Matters noted that right-wing blogger Mike Vanderboegh repeatedly posted an image of Attorney General Eric Holder transposed to a appear as a Nazi officer. The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) denounced the image and called on Fox News (who has repeatedly featured Vanderboegh) and Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership (who recently granted him an award) to do so as well:
As we have consistently said before, invoking the Holocaust to make political points is never acceptable. We strongly encourage others to condemn this type of behavior when they see it.
Unfortunately, after allowing individuals such as Glenn Beck and Hank Williams, Jr. to use Holocaust rhetoric during their appearances on the air, it is unlikely that Fox News will do the right thing and repudiate Vanderboegh. Indeed, Fox News' own chief executive compared NPR executives to the Nazis and lashed out at those criticizing the network for allowing such behavior to take place.
That leaves JPFO--a Jewish group that recently awarded Vanderboegh--to act responsibly and make it clear that his behavior is unacceptable.
Yesterday, Vanderboegh writing partner David Codrea outed himself as the creator of the image.
Blogging at Examiner.com Codrea writes that he created the image and gets explicit with the Nazi smear:
I guess it's confession time. I made them. And I didn't use Photoshop. I have neither the time nor inclination to become skilled with that, and find the admittedly limited capabilities of Paint adequate for producing satirical images, crude in technique though they may be. So it looks like I've just doubled JPFO's [Jews For The Preservation Of Firearms Ownership] troubles--now both their award recipients are in hot water with NJDC.
National socialists sure get prickly when you point out what they are...
Codrea is at the very least suggesting NJDC is working on behalf of
"National Socialists", if not suggesting they are Nazi themselves.
NJDC has opposed political attacks invoking Nazism by both conservatives and liberals.

I've been watching Fox News faithfully for years now, and according to them, Nazis are poor black Mexican Jews who favor free, public education and affordable health care.
Eric Holder might be a lot of things, a Nazi isn't one of them.
"You guys did it to President Bush!"
Of course, they can't point to a major media figure that did call Bush a Nazi. Or if they can, said same media figure probably apologized and was suspended for doing something so stupid. Hell, Dan Rather lost his entire career at CBS because he ran a badly sourced story. Imagine if they had that kind of accountability at FoxNews?
You're pushing a false equivalence, exactly as I said you clowns would in my earlier post.
