Dana Loesch Responds: "Progressives Felt As Though That These Marines Should Be Bowing To The Taliban"

CNN's Dana Loesch responded to the growing controversy surrounding her comments dismissing outrage over video apparently showing U.S. Marines urinating on dead bodies by saying that her critics "felt as though these Marines should be bowing to the Taliban ... just like this administration does."
Earlier this week, after video emerged that appeared to show members of the United States Marine Corps urinating on dead bodies that early reports have identified as Afghans Loesch complained that "we have a bunch of progressives that are talking smack about our military because there were Marines caught urinating on corpses -- Taliban corpses." Military and national security experts from across the political spectrum have condemned the video and have pointed out that the actions depicted in it likely violate U.S. and international law.
Loesch tried to explain her comments:
The reaction to what these Marines did is disproportionate to the actual offense: beyond disproportionate. They'll be dealt with it. Get over it. And that was my entire point.
That was far from Loesch's "entire point." In fact, she went on to say that the individuals shown in the video should be awarded "a million cool points" and went on question whether "there's supposed to be a scandal that someone pees on the corpse of a Taliban fighter" and bragged, "I'd drop trou and do it, too."
Loesch's comments were widely condemned throughout the day Friday, leading her to lash out at her critics with the suggestion that they sided with the Taliban:
I think the progressives felt as though that these Marines should be bowing to the Taliban, and every other combatant, and every other foreign entity just like this administration does. So my whole point was to say that your whole reaction was ridiculous.

Not condemning the US military here, condemning you.
Sorry, but it just rings hollow when a person who claims to want to pee on dead people calls someone ridiculous.
And it certainly doesn't help her case that she accuses progressives of bowing to the Taliban because they don't share her desire to pee on them.
The logical fallacy here of course is the false dichotomy. EITHER they get to desecrate a dead body or they are expected to bow down to them. Dana is a dispicable and loathsome human being
And here folks, we have the ever present strawman from Dana.
This administration thinks no such thing, and they have given no quarter to the bad guys. Remember who killed Bin Laden? Oh, yeah, that whole thing.
That wasn't the point you were making. You were PROUD of these Marines desecrating their enemy, and you said you'd join them. The act was bad enough, but you were ENCOURAGING it. Oh, and get this, such famous liberals as the Commandant of the USMC has called this despicable, and if he were reached for comment about what you said, I'm sure he'd find your comment just as objectionable.
Lady, you're a moron.
...Maybe to Dana Loesch, being urinated on is a complement.
...Im a horrible, horrible person.
Our military are good people, who are functioning under unbelievably difficult circumstances. Inevitably, poorly led and/or disciplined young men under these conditions will give in to their "base" instincts and be motivated to do what these marines did. These things (and worse) happen in all wars; but in this day and age, we seem to feel compelled to document our outrages.
I find it somehow strange though, that this video suddenly "surfaced" as peace talks were scheduled to begin with the Taliban. It almost seems like the release of the video was designed to undermine the talks.
