Nice, but the FoxNoose chyron writers (unless they want to be fired) would never display that below.

More likely it would say - Dow Breaks 13,000 but still off record high achieved during Bush Administration.

Or Dow finally back to the 13,000 range now that there is a Republican running for the presidency.

Or even more deceptive: Dow down to 13,000 after peak of 14,000 in October 2007.

"Some people say" that the dow number is fixed by the White House and is phony and propaganda.

"Obama is bribing the wall street liberal elites with tax cuts (for campaign contributors only) in exchange for an increase in the Dow".

Whose willing to bet me that Retchin says something along these lines sometime in the next week?

      Nice.

And now that the President is proposing a decrease in the corporate tax rate, I am sure they will be devising new a whole new set of BS verbal salad to attack him with.

Yeah, they will be saying that he is actually RAISING corporate tax rates, not lowering them.

If he does it correctly, he will be for those that are currently exploiting loopholes to pay little or no taxes. I have no problem with reducing the corporate tax rates to even 25% if the loopholes are closed.

Heck, I don't have a problem with 15-20 if they closed them all.

I have a problem with that, because those loopholes are simply going to creep back in later.

Yeah, I know, the end result will be a vindication of the lowering taxes raises revenues line, but that will only be because all the ways to get out of paying taxes, or get the government to pay YOU for making a profit, will be gone.

They're already saying that Obama's actually going to increase the taxes companies pay. And that's likely true - cutting the tax rate while removing tax breaks and loopholes will likely make most businesses pay more in taxes. They're carefully leaving out the word "rates" when discussing it.

Dow could easily top 16,000 if we'd just privatize social security and stop giving seniors free medical care. Why should we give old people free stuff? That's how Hitler got started. If they had bad luck or didn't have a good enough job, they can go to a poor house and die.

As a judge at the local science fair, I noticed that some of that some of the problems were that the kids had minimal or not data at all, that they did little if any research, and more generally, they had little understanding of the process of hypothesis generation and testing--science.

When I was teaching writing, the students had to learn that they needed coherent, logical progression of ideas as well as grammatical accuracy.

The students were the best high school science students in the county and some of the freshmen at the University of Illinois. Why does Fox, fair and balanced and doing thorough research make these same errors?

How do Christians justify supporting Fox News when they deliberately lie, mis-represent, and lie by omission to their viewers?

The cartoon network has more viewers than all the news organsations put together. The reason is because the reality of animation is more truthful.

If the data doesn't reinforce my pre-existing belief than it must be wrong. That's the right wing version of scientific inquiry.

Fox has no understanding of economics or even basic math, so why are we surprised that they are data (facts) adverse?
