Julie Millican has been involved with several progressive organizations and campaigns, including work with America Coming Together, MoveOn.org, John Kerry's presidential campaign, and local Democratic parties. She has conducted research studies relating the media consumption and political knowledge and has held a governmental internship in which she worked on public policy and environmental issues. Millican holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and is a Senior Researcher at Media Matters for America.
