SUMMARY: Neil Cavuto falsely claimed that data on the Earth's average temperature are
not "reliable" beyond "about 100 years." In fact, the National Academy
of Sciences released a report
in June 2006, which stated,
"with a high level of confidence," that during the last few decades
of the 20th century, the Earth's average surface temperature was higher
than any other period in the last 400 years.
