SUMMARY: A Washington Times article reported that Nancy Pelosi "did not attend the briefing" that Gen. David Petraeus delivered on Capitol Hill but did not note that Pelosi's staff reportedly said that the speaker had "requested a one-on-one meeting with Petraeus but that could not be worked out," and that Pelosi and Petraeus had spoken on the phone for 30 minutes.
