CNN's King falsely suggested McCain opposed flying of Confederate flag during 2000 SC primary

SUMMARY: CNN national correspondent John King falsely suggested that Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain "oppos[ed] the flying of the Confederate flag above the South Carolina State House" while seeking his party's nomination in 2000.
