SUMMARY: Pat Buchanan attributed the claim that the use of enhanced interrogation techniques on detainees allowed intelligence officials to foil the Library Tower plot to a Wall Street Journal op-ed by Michael Hayden and Michael Mukasey. In fact, Mukasey and Hayden made no such claim in their op-ed.
