O'Reilly to his female co-host: "You're here because you're eye candy ... for me"

Bill O'Reilly referred to his Radio Factor co-host, Lis Wiehl -- an author, law professor, and FOX News Channel legal analyst -- as "eye candy ... for me" on the June 21 radio program, telling Wiehl that she is on the show "because you're good-looking, so I got somebody to look over" while he's on the air.

O'Reilly, who earlier in the program claimed that Wiehl would like to "date" former President Bill Clinton, responded to her comment that Clinton's lip-biting during his appearance on 60 Minutes was "cute" by stating, "That's the in-depth analysis from a Harvard Law grad, ladies and gentlemen." Later, in a discussion about Michael Moore's new film Fahrenheit 9/11, O'Reilly referred to Wiehl as actress Drew Barrymore, remarking, "I loved you in Poison Ivy. Was that the one [movie] she was naked in?"

From the June 21 nationally syndicated broadcast of The Radio Factor with Bill O'Reilly:

WIEHL: I don't get the whole lip-biting thing. It's kind of cute.

O'REILLY: OK. That's the in-depth analysis from a Harvard Law grad, ladies and gentlemen.

WIEHL: What else do you expect from him?

O'REILLY: I don't expect anything from you, Lis. You know that. You're here --

WIEHL: I'm going to start throwing stuff.

O'REILLY: -- you're here because you're eye candy. That's why you're here.

WIEHL: What? This is radio.

O'REILLY: I know. But -- for me.

WIEHL: [laughter]

O'REILLY: I don't care about the people listening. You're here because you're good-looking, so I got somebody to look over, go that's pretty nice-looking over -- I got to look at these swine behind the glass, come on. Got have a little of that.

[...]

WIEHL: It's [Fahrenheit 9/11] a movie. It's entertainment. Nobody's going to make up their mind on who to vote for for president based on this. Maybe it's a little creative license going on here.

O'REILLY: Thank you, Drew Barrymore.

WIEHL: [laughter]

O'REILLY: That was Drew Barrymore. She just stopped in for a second, and we appreciate it, Drew.

WIEHL: Thank you, thank you, Bill, thank you.

O'REILLY: Yeah, I loved you in Poison Ivy.

WIEHL: [laughter] There you go.

O'REILLY: Was that the one she was naked in?
