National Review's Lowry defended Cameron's reputation, dubbed his work "impeccable"

National Review editor Rich Lowry defended FOX News Channel chief political correspondent Carl Cameron -- who wrote a fake news story (since removed but archived here) mocking Senator John Kerry, which was published October 1 on FOXNews.com -- calling Cameron's work "impeccable." Substituting for conservative syndicated columnist Cal Thomas on the October 9 edition of FOX News Channel's FOX News Watch, Lowry remarked of the Cameron incident: "This is a blip. Carl Cameron's reputation will stand on his work, which is impeccable, and everyone who works with him knows that."
