After Media Matters critique, MRC posted condolence note on Jennings

On August 8, Media Matters for America noted that the conservative Media Research Center had responded to the death of ABC anchor Peter Jennings with a post promoting the organization's political agenda. MRC had emailed the post to its supporters that morning. While the original post remains, something else also appeared the evening of August 8 on the front page of the MRC website: a short note expressing condolences on Jennings's death. It reads in part: "Mr. Jennings' journalistic accomplishments and longevity at the height of his profession will always command honor and respect."
