Carlson: Sen. Clinton "just bulldozes everybody" in presidential run because there are "so few men" and "so many wussies at the helm" of Democratic Party

On the August 22 edition of MSNBC's Tucker, host Tucker Carlson stated that there are "so few men" and "so many wussies at the helm" of the Democratic Party that "[n]obody has the huevos to stand up to" Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and tell her that "you're not running for president." As a result, Carlson contended, Clinton "just bulldozes everybody" in the way of her presidential ambitions. Carlson, an upcoming participant on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, made the statement in a discussion with conservative radio host Melanie Morgan and Democratic strategist Rich Masters.

As Media Matters for America previously noted, on the November 22, 2004, edition of CNN's Crossfire, Carlson claimed that "grouchy feminists with mustaches" control the Democratic Party.

From the August 22 edition of MSNBC's Tucker:

MORGAN: I'm assuming that she is going to make the run, unless she sees polling or evidence otherwise right up at the year from now.

CARLSON: Rich, the truth is there are so few men left in the Democratic Party. There are so many wussies at the helm of that party.

MASTERS: Gee, thanks.

CARLSON: Nobody has the huevos to stand up to Mrs. Clinton and say, you, you can't win, step back, you're not running for president. Nobody is in charge. So she just bulldozes everybody. That's the truth of it. And you know it.

MASTERS: It's not the truth of it.

CARLSON: Oh, come on.
