Savage breaks vow, refers to Media Matters

On the March 6 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Michael Savage said: "I'll save a copy of [Savage's book] Healing Children Naturally for [those] who were apparently severely injured as children and became gay activists, who work for Media Matters." As Media Matters for America has previously noted, on the January 30 broadcast of his radio show, Savage vowed "not to read [Media Matters'] name anymore."

Healing Children Naturally, which Savage co-wrote with Kathleen Goss under his given name, Michael A. Weiner, was first published in 1982. It was apparently reprinted in 1994, according to Amazon.com, where one copy is available for sale. Savage is also selling the book on his website, MichaelSavage.Com, which says that, by "popular demand," the book is being reprinted. Healing Children Naturally is touted on the front page of the website as "[t]he most important book you will ever buy." The book purportedly offers natural and herbal remedies for a number of ailments, including hyperactivity, a disorder commonly treated with the drug Ritalin.

During the March 6 show, Savage claimed that Ritalin is "a radical feminist plot to destroy the boys of America." He continued: "Now, if you don't like what I just said, that's too bad. It doesn't matter to me. It really doesn't matter whether you find what I said preposterous or not, what I just said is 100 percent true. Ritalin is a conspiracy of greedy drug manufacturers, along with radical feminists, to feminize our boys, to pacify them and turn them into nothings, because girls are rarely prescribed Ritalin." He went on to conclude: "You understand that, don't you? Did you get that? It's an attack upon masculinity. It's off the patriarchy."

Savage also stated: "But now that sexual orientation is excusing people's communistic, Soviet-style harassment, I have a real problem with it. And mark my words, just mark my words: The perpetrators are going to pay for what they're doing. ... God sees the truth but waits. God, at the end of the day, gets even for all of the insults against decent people. ... You wait and see how it all ends." As Media Matters noted, Savage recently sent an email to Media Matters accusing the organization of "harass[ment]" and threatening legal action "under California's anti-stalking legislation."

The Savage Nation reaches more than 8 million listeners each week, according to Talkers Magazine, making it the third-most-listened-to talk radio show in the nation, behind only The Rush Limbaugh Show and The Sean Hannity Show.

And the reason he's named Gasosaurus is because his remains were discovered by a Chinese gas company's construction crew. Gas lizard or Gasosaurus is in honor of the gas mining company that discovered the fossil of the Gasosaurus. Unfortunately, we have many Gasosauri still functioning in the United States of America, but they don't know it. They think that they're progressives but, in fact, they are nothing but fossils.
