Kondracke swooned over Ken Starr

Roll Call executive editor, FOX News Channel Beltway Boys co-host, and regular contributor to FOX News Channel's Special Report with Brit Hume Morton M. Kondracke lavishly praised Kenneth W. Starr -- the controversial former independent counsel whose investigation of former President Bill Clinton ultimately led to Clinton's impeachment by the House of Representatives (and subsequent acquittal in the Senate) -- in response to "incessant" attacks on Starr in Clinton's newly released memoir, My Life.

From the June 22 edition of FOX News Channel's Special Report with Brit Hume:

What I found interesting [about My Life] is the incessant attacks on Ken Starr, the special prosecutor. I know Ken Starr. Ken Starr is one of the sweetest, nicest, mildest, most scholarly kind of people, and the only thing I can conclude -- I mean, he does make a pretty good case that Starr went bonkers over Bill Clinton. I think Bill Clinton goes bonkers over Ken Starr.
