Savage to George Soros: "It's people like you who brought about the Holocaust"

On the June 12 edition of his nationally syndicated radio program, Michael Savage called liberal financier George Soros, a "punk, lying, coward, Satanist, backstabbing freak," adding, "It's people like you who brought about the Holocaust, Soros. I stand by those words."

Savage was commenting on an interview of Soros published in the June 11 issue of The New York Times Magazine. After reading selections from the interview, Savage said of Soros, "[P]eople like you give Jews a bad name, Soros," repeating that he "stand[s] by" his statement that "[i]t's people like you who brought about the Holocaust, Soros."

As Media Matters for America has noted, Savage has previously compared Soros to Adolf Hitler's minister of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, and labeled Soros "a money changer in the temple of truth."
