Tucker Carlson: If Clinton and Giuliani both "had absolute power ... who would kill more?"
Discussing Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) on the May 1 edition of MSNBC's Tucker, host Tucker Carlson asked columnist Bruce Bartlett: "If both of them had absolute power ... who would kill more?" Tucker's question came after Bartlett asserted, "I think Giuliani seems like he has an authoritarian personality." Tucker then asked: "And Hillary Clinton doesn't? You're saying he has a more authoritarian personality than Hillary Clinton?"
Bartlett, an official in the George H.W. Bush administration, had written a May 1 column stating that "politically sophisticated conservatives will have to recognize that no Republican can win in 2008 and that their only choice is to support the most conservative Democrat for the nomination. Call me crazy, but I think that person is Hillary Clinton."
From the May 1 edition of MSNBC's Tucker:
CARLSON: Would you personally vote for her?
BARTLETT: I would vote for her against some people, I don't know --
CARLSON: Like who?
BARTLETT: Well, I'm just not very happy about any of the Republicans running. I think Giuliani has -- seems like an -- has an authoritarian personality. [Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt] Romney seems --
CARLSON: And Hillary Clint -- wait, wait. And Hillary Clinton doesn't? You're saying he has a more authoritarian personality than Hillary Clinton?
BARTLETT: Well, that --
CARLSON: If both of them had absolute power -- let's just say, a mind experiment -- if they had absolute power, if they were stuck, who would kill more?
BARTLETT: Gee, that's a tough question. I think Giuliani would kill more. I think he's a tougher guy, and I don't mean that in a positive way, really.

Ha! 1st post!
What a stupid question from Bowtie boy.
I will take that as a compliment from Bartlett (the politically sophisticated conservative comment LOL). I've been saying on here since November that the Republicans have no chance in 2008 and they are going to lose BIG.
One thing's for certain....both WOULD kill.
A better answer would have been, "Guileani has demonstrated from his record in NYC that he'd be more likely to seek absolute power. He did after all, try to postpone the elections there and fight a case all the way to the Supreme Court over some bus signs he ordered removed because they said he wanted to control things." As far as authoritarianism is concerned, G is in a class by himself.
Hillary would definitely kill all men.
Then you would be safe.
Leatherhead definitly continues to show he is a moron
"If both of them had absolute power -- let's just say, a mind experiment -- if they had absolute power, if they were stuck, who would kill more?"

Answer: Tucker Carlson. No matter how many he thinks Clinton or Giuliani would kill, Carlson would bore to death far more.
The Refuter has nailed it. Case closed.
Pucker-up Tucker. Kiss it again. And you're so cute in your bow-tie; no, no, don't take it off!
It makes me ill to think of how much money Carlson probably gets paid. Seriously, a monkey in a bow tie would do a better job.
After the above clip, Tucker Carlson and Bruce Bartlett continued their discussion. Although the following exchange was not aired, MSNBC has graciously consented to releasing the following transcript:
TUCKER CARLSON: Voldemort from Harry Potter vs. Sauron from Lord of the Rings: which one is more evil?
BRUCE BARTLETT: Well, that's a hard question Tucker. It depends, are you talking about Sauron before he lost his physical body and became a disembodied spirit, or after.
CARLSON: Let's say after. I mean, in the main books, we only see him after he lost his body, right? It's only in that book that nobody reads that he has a body.
BARTLETT: OK. Hmm. Well, Sauron's immortal. At least as long as his Ring isn't destroyed. That's a pretty big advantage right there.
CARLSON: But in Book 6 don't we find out Voldemort's immortal too? As long as the pieces of his soul that he cut up and hid aren't destroyed.
BARTLETT: Oh, I've only read up to Book 5.
CARLSON: You haven't read Book 6? How can you not have read Book 6? Don't you want to know what happens to Dumbledore?
BARTLETT: I don't know, I kind of lost interest around Book 4. Anyhow, honestly, I think Darth Vader's more evil than both of them. Choking that guy to death with his mind, that's always made more of an impression on me.
CARLSON: [laughing]. I'm Tucker Carlson, here with Bruce Bartlett. More on Voldemort and Sauron, and whether Darth Vader is eviller than both of them, after these messages.
I think they actually root for the bad guys in the books that they read. Tolkien is all about good versus evil. Star Wars, as well. I can honestly see the analogies between our present political situation and that of the Evil Empire from Lucas' films or Tolkien's Sauron and Saruman in the Republicans and Democrat Parties. How do they miss this? They MUST be rooting for the villain!
By the way, "that book that nobody reads". It's called the Silmarillion. Possibly one of the greatest works of morality fiction ever written.
This could actually help Hillary among Troglodyte Conservatives...according to them, the reason we're losing in Iraq is that we aren't killing enough people.
Dear Tucker,
Both are amatures compared to the national disgrace and tragedy called Bush
If Batman and Spiderman had a fight, who would win?
Batman always wins. There is no deviating from this ultimate rule.
Besides, Spiderman's a geek.
Tucker, Tucker, Tucker, you silly man. The answer is obvious. Bush or Chaney would kill more people. You need to review your history.
But if you are limiting choices to just those 2 then it has to be Rudy. He was told over and over that the WTC would be hit again and did nothing to protect it or prevent another attack
Not only that, he approved the use of police and firefighter radios on different frequencies, so they couldn't talk to each other. That alone led to more resuers dying on 9/11.
The blood is on Rudy's hands.
Faces of Death.
I think a better question is IF Tucker and Hannity had a single brain cell between them which one could better tackle second grade math
