Savage: "You're telling me there's no possibility of a conspiracy by the Democrats" to cause Roberts' seizure?

On the July 30 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Michael Savage reacted to news that Chief Justice John Roberts had suffered a seizure that day by raising the possibility that "his health was in some way tampered with by the Democrats." Savage said, "Something's wrong with this picture," after noting that Roberts' seizure occurred just three days after Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) said he would seek in general to reject any future Supreme Court nomination made by President Bush. Schumer told the American Constitution Society (ACS) in a July 27 speech: "I will recommend to my colleagues that we should not confirm any Bush nominee to the Supreme Court except in extraordinary circumstances." Schumer said that, since the confirmation of Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito, the court had come to represent "what a diminishing clique of conservative ideologues wish for."
Savage asked, "Am I to believe there's no connection between Charles Schumer on Friday saying he would never appoint, or never, excuse me, approve another Bush appointment to the court, to any court? And then the chief justice suffers a so-called seizure two days later? You're telling me there's no possibility of a conspiracy by the Democrats to have caused this seizure in some manner?" He added: "Tell me it's not possible, and I'll tell you you're a liar."
Schumer did not, in fact, say that "he would never ... approve another Bush appointment to the court, to any court." According to text and video of Schumer's speech before the ACS national convention, Schumer actually said: "Given the track record of this president and the experience of obfuscation at the hearings, with respect to the Supreme Court, at least: I will recommend to my colleagues that we should not confirm any Bush nominee to the Supreme Court except in extraordinary circumstances." (Schumer did not read from the text entirely verbatim.)
The Savage Nation reaches more than 8 million listeners each week, according to Talkers Magazine, making it the third most-listened-to talk radio show in the nation, behind only The Rush Limbaugh Show and The Sean Hannity Show.
From the July 30 broadcast of Talk Radio Network's The Savage Nation:
SAVAGE: All right, we have a breaking news update. Chief Justice John Roberts has had a seizure in his summer home in Maine, and he fell on a dock. Now, what's interesting to me, and almost frightening and puzzling, is that on Friday Charles Schumer gave a loud and vociferously nasty speech during which he said he would never support another Bush judge. He would never support a -- it was -- you know, let me ask you something. All you leftists believe in the conspiracy of Bush and Cheney, the conspiracy of 9-11. Am I to believe that there's no connection between Charles Schumer on Friday saying that he would never appoint, or never, excuse me, approve another Bush appointment to the court, to any court? And then the chief justice suffers a so-called seizure two days later? You're telling me there's no possibility of a conspiracy by the Democrats to have caused this seizure in some manner? Tell me that it's not possible. Tell me that the stakes are not so high that the liberals -- who've finally lost the court after 50 years -- that they would stop short of anything like this. Tell me it's not possible, and I'll tell you you're a liar.
[...]
SAVAGE: I find it odd that Bigfoot Schumer -- and I call him Bigfoot for a reason -- that Bigfoot on Friday would say he's putting his foot down and they're never going to approve another Bush appointment because the court's been moved too far to the right. What he means is it's no longer a communist socialist court. It's been moved to the center, make no mistake about it. It's a centrist court; it's by no means a right-wing court. A right-wing court would be much different than this one. It's a centrist court. Even that's too much for Schumer, [Sen. Barbara] Boxer [D-CA], [Sen. Dianne] Feinstein [D-CA], [Sen. Richard] Durbin [D-IL], [Sen. Edward] Kennedy [D-CA], et al. They want a left-wing court of lackeys to bring us into the world of socialism, to destroy our Constitution once and for all under the guise of liberalism, to destroy once and for all the dignity of the United States of America by bringing the cesspool to Main Street.
And so, this is pretty amazing to me that he's had a seizure at age 52. That's a pretty amazing thing. They say that he had a similar episode in 1993 and that now they're telling us there's no cause for concern and you don't know what to believe. But he will remain in the hospital and will remain overnight. Now why he had a seizure I don't know. I don't think he was asked to dine in Manhattan on his way to Maine. I don't think he was asked to share a sandwich on his way to Maine, do you? They say, "Well it can't happen here. It's impossible."
Well, let me ask you something. You remember the Russian who ate some polonium sushi? He was going to give an interview that was embarrassing to [Russian President Vladimir] Putin? He ate a polonium sushi and then he died. Well, they do it over there when there's a lot of money at stake, don't they? Power at stake? What's a human being to power-mad people and power-mad parties? Nothing.
So why can't we assume for a moment that it's within the realm of possibility that Roberts was in some way -- his health was in some way tampered with by the Democrats because they can't believe that no matter what they do, no matter what they do -- even if they engineer a victory for Hillary Clinton/[Barack] Obama -- they're still not going to be in control because the court's moved to the center? Just a thought. Just a tiny little thought for you to ponder tonight, all you left-wingers who are so glib in your attacks on the conservative movement.
[...]
SAVAGE: Let me say this again: On Thursday, some hack for the left wing, some hack professor said that we should increase the number of people on the Supreme Court, raising it from nine to another number. And he gave precedent for it. Of course, you have to go back 200 years to come up with this precedent. He then -- then on Friday, the shocking statement by Schumer, the obstructionist, whose nightmare -- whose dream for America is a nightmare for me. His dream is to see a Hillary presidency and he becomes appointed to the Supreme Court. That's what Schumer has lived for from the time he was a little boy. That's all he wants, so he had the nerve to say on Friday he will never, ever, ever permit another Bush appointee to get onto a court, to become a judge. Then today we read that the chief justice has had a seizure and fell on a dock? Something's wrong with this picture.

I think this is Ann Coulter trying to pin one on Shumer, with Savage being the point person. Remember it was Ann that wanted to put rat poison in the dessert of a Supreme Court justice.
Just speculating of course...
Savage is a fool and a lunatic to boot. He is an insult to the Right. One thing though - bizarre conspiracies exist both on the Left and the Right (probably more in the former).
The Left is way more capabile of BIZZARE Conspiracies
the "left wing" conspiracy theories have some facts to support them whether you are convinced or not. Right wing conspiracies avoid such complications and are usually of the something we dont like happened therefore it must be a left wing conspiracy format. Rush L. does this constantly and with 3 hours of comment on an assumption, the factually unsupported "what if" is made substantial as if based on something more than an a priori assumption. Has Savage presented any evidence to support this wild assertion? Why do I even bother to ask.
the list is long but lately, after the kennedys, king, malcom, etc. don't forget samantha smith (the 13 yo anti-reagan), and paul wellstone--
but since we're talking blowhards: Alan Berg was a very popular and talented talk show host for the denver Am mega station 850 KOA that reaches over 30 states at night. but he was jewish and progressive. somehow a hit squad of neo nazis came all the way over from oregon to kiill him just as he was about to go national. the guy who took his place on the national stage- Rush Limbaugh!
No they arent the rightwing is just WAY more likely to LIE about us.
Us? You actually admit to being one of the lying liars of the left? HaHaHa!!!
This is precious!
No the liars are on the right, moron. You REALLY need an adult education class. You get any denser light will actually bend around your head. Like I hide being a lefty what a joke you are.
bizarre conspiracies exist both on the Left and the Right (probably more in the former).
Please find someone on the left who equates a seizures (has some history of them) that Roberts experienced to some plot by the left the change the court. Could that be like Clarence Thomas who equated tough questioning by the Senate to a lynching?
"Please find someone on the left who equates a seizures (has some history of them) that Roberts experienced to some plot by the left the change the court"
I believe that he was talking about the conspiracy theorists on the left who believe that 9-11 was an inside job.
I believe that he was talking about the conspiracy theorists on the left who believe that 9-11 was an inside job.
They aren't all lefties. Physicist Stephen Jones describes himself as a lifelong Republican.
Lincoln Chafee is a life long Republican as well. There's liberal Republicans just like there's conservative Democrats.
As opposed to those of us who KNOW 9/11 was an inside job.....
So did the terrorists just use a remote control to fly the planes into the towers? Were all the other terrorist attacks that have happened around the world staged as well? Where does this insanity end?
actually search cheryl seal- the germans rejected a new american flight navigation technology because it allowed remore flying of large aircraft
You know that 911 was an inside job? Care to supply any proof? Why don't you demonstrate that "logic" that you always keep claiming is the preserve of "people" on the Left? Please don't point me to some kook site. If you have the time, I suggest you go through Popular Mechanics' site that debunks most 911 conpiracies. That way, you may decide to keep such conpiracy theories to the bare minimum before you post your response.
You know why there are so many conspiracy theories?
Because the 9/11 commission dropped the ball. Too many unanswered questions. Bush/Cheney testifying in private and not under oath, among other things.
My #1 questions - why was NORAD told to stand down and who gave the order?
Well your "number 1 question"has already been answered in so far as there was no "stand-down order" as shown here. They also go on to debunk every other crap claim that the idiots behind "Loose Change" among others basically pulled out of their rears.
That Popular Mechanics piece you cite has itself been debunked, repeatedly. Here, here, here, and here to name a few.
None of those sites debunk a thing and are just conspiracy theorists throwing up more conspiracies to cover themselves; most of their "proof" just comes from articles written by other conspiracy theorists.
The 9/11 Commission Report is referred to as a "work of fiction." They ignore that jet fuel burns at 800-1500 degrees and literally say that jet fuel is basically the same thing as kerosene and their "source" simply verifies the temperature that kerosene ignites. That's right they made something up and their source didn't even back them up one bit. Some of them aren't even consistent in their own "debunking" and even go so far as to admit in a few instances that their own claims cannot be verified but instead say they also cannot be disproved...wow.
Did you even sit back and read these? It's pretty obvious they are making things up and referencing one another.
I agree that that particular conspiracy theory is loony.
That said, it's utterly false to claim that therefore there are JUST AS MANY (or more) loony theories on the left.
One is not equal to "MORE".
There's many on the right with the same theories.
The 911 conspiracies on the Left are merely one example. In answer to your specific question, remeber the weird nonsense that linked the Bush Admin. and the GOP to Sen. Tim Johnson's stroke? A Democrat on ABC's View said as much and claimed that you can't put such conpiracies past the GOP.On Democrat Underground, the owner of that site, Skinner, put out a notice on the front page asking his posters/diary writers not to clutter the site with such bizarre, conspiracy-addled threads.
You're last sentence nullifies your point. The owner of Democratic Underground asked people not to post nonsense theories.
Obviously people on every "side" belief fantasy conspiracy theories. Savage/Weiner is just taking his own wacked-out spur of the moment theory to the airwaves where thousands of brain-addled fans without b.s. filters nod like bobblehead dolls and repeat to their friends.
I think Chomsky is right about these conspiricy theories they are a huge waste of time and a huge diversion unless there is solid evidence. On the other hand just calling something a conspiricy theory itself is used to marginalize speculation. I mean really the Kennedy assasination is still considered a conspiricy theory and really does anyone in their right mind believe that Lee Harvey Oswald shot John Kennedy all by himself from that book depository?
You obviously are just too young to hear the many kooky conservative conspiracy theories of the 1990's which are apparently still alive and well. Everything from the UN taking us over with black helicopters and markings on the back of stop signs to the literally thousands of Clinton conspiracies including the now infamous "People who knew Clinton and are now dead" that Limbaugh and talk radio used to push so much.
Conspiracy theories are there on both sides. It is difficult to tell which side has more because we are often blinded by our own biases and the fact that when one party is in power, it tends to bring out the paranoia of the party that is currently not in power. If a Democrat wins the next election, you can guarantee the crazy conservative kooks will be out in even greater numbers than they display now.
When your're guilty of something you make a stink about something(AKA smoke screen) Liberals are always calling for a Congressional Judiciary Committee hearing. What smoke screen are they guilty of?
congratulations, you have won today's incoherence award.
What's the problem, mefirst?. Liberals are guilty of smokescreens and try to stink them up with smokescreens, so how bout a congressional smokescreen to prove that Democrats have committed smokescreens and are trying to create a smokescreen.
did that help?
What about the republican operatives that broke up Ross Perot's daughter's wedding? See, that is one conspiracy that was carried out. Oh, yeah, I remember another one or two, the name Watergate ring a bell??? Or, Vice President Agnew and the milk lobby??
"bizarre conspiracies exist both on the Left and the Right (probably more in the former)."--genghiz
...And you probably believe this because you are a conservative yourself. I can't say that I am surprised.
well, you know the clintons......... murdered vince foster. can you guarantee where hillary was at the time?
Well, Mike. One of the many problems with your tirade is that Hillary is no far lefty. She's pretty centrist, too. I think she's centrist in the way you say the Supreme Court is centrist.
We'll see how "centrist" you think she is when she seizes the means of medical production and instills a system of medicare that will have you standing in line to treat your medical problem.....for as long as you bloody well will have to, for: HILLARY WANTS IT THAT WAY.
Grow-up, dude.
The next President will not seize control of anything, the next President will not instill or install anything. We have a system of government that precludes unitary executive authority. The Republicans have fought like hell to install a monarchy, but we still have seperation of powers. Any healthcare plan will have to first go through Congress.
So anyone who thinks it even remotely possible that there was a 9-11 conspiracy is a nut, but it's OK to posit that there is some vague, mysterious plot by "leftists" to somehow "tamper with the health" of the Chief Justice. Que the Twilight Zone music. Uhhh, got any evidence to go with that nutball sandwich there Weiner?
The ones who truly believe it are the nuts, the ones who just say it on the air for shock value are "entertainers".
I'll withhold judgment on this vast Left-Wing conspiracy until saner voices like Limbaugh, Hannity & Coulter weigh in on this subject ;-)
Bruce, I can't imagine anyone finding Savage "entertaining", just reading his nutty remarks gives me a headache. If I had to listen to his radio program I think my head might explode!
I find Savage/Weiner " entertaining" in the sense that IMO his on air persona is an act, a character he plays. He goes on rants and calls certain groups names, and in the process he shows his own hypocrisy. How anyone can consider this guy a reliable source on ANYthing is beyond me. I rarely agree with him on whatever he says. I find his pomposity and arrogance entertaining, like watching an egotistical bad actor praising himself. Weiner tends to try to blow a news subject out of proportion of the facts. Note his comments of the two words written on the campus shooter's arm ( he claims it as proof he was an islamofascist). One night he did shock me as to how tolerant he was when he talked about attending a Neo-Pagan event ( a wedding, I think it was). Most religious conservatives think nontraditional religions are kooky and foreign.
Of course his show is part "act."
One way of looking at it is like how most of us watch the world go by on our tv's. You click your way through all the crap, commenting on any and all channels as per the usual vapid nonsense that passes for entertainment. Then, occaisionally, you find something good that captures your attention that makes it worthwhile.
Mike does his show as if he's been given the authority to comment on anything that comes by his little window-like view, and he dresses it up with colorful language. Notice, he tosses the odd bone to MM every once-in-a-while?
The fact that he espouses a, generally, conservative view, is just the icing on the cake.
I thought the icing was his obvious insanity. Give him the Thorazine he so desperatly needs and he is Mr Rogers.
I have to say that I do find Savage interesting. I often wonder how anyone could possibly be convinced that Savage has the foggiest idea of what he is talking about.
The fact that Savage has defenders that show up here from time to time is a reminder to me that Savage's idiocy isn't that obvious to everyone and he amazingly does have a devoted following.
This is why I am skeptical when Tommy tries to dismiss these kinds of remarks. It seems Savage does have more influence than rational people can reasonably begin to comprehend.
The Savage Dimension. Any chance of O'Rielly visiting to chew some transfat with The Doctor? The oneupmanship would be something, if you could stand to hear it.
ROUNDHOUSE, your definition of Hillary is unusual. Would you expand upon the theme? I would not call the Supreme court centerist, but I'd be interested in what you have to say.
Thanks for making me re-assess that post. The best I can come up with is personal bias (my own, that is.) I see Hillary as little more than a right leaning Democrat and it's obvious that SCOTUS leans right.
I should say in the interest of full disclosure, I support Edwards for President, so take my view of Hillary as filtered.
Micheal the Savage, where did you get Not-So-Rosie's tin foil hat? Take it back before you lose all reason (oops, too late, happened some time back.)
Liberals can cause seizures with the powers that can not be verified or proven?
Sign me up for those "Scanner"-like powers. "I am crushing your head, Savage." Maybe it's the super-secret system cell research those godless heathens have been delving into.
You see, Mr. Wiener knows that liberals are all god-hating pagans, and everyone knows that pagans are witches and witches have magical powers, so obviously we've all been conjuring anti-SCOTUS spells that caused Roberts to have his unfortunate fall.
Thing is, I doubt Mike realizes how hard it is to get any group of pagans to do anything together in any kind of organized manner, aside from drinking.
The problem with that theory is that the good people behind Operation Prayer Shield should have been able to block the paganist brain-waves with their prayer screen.
Not true! Good, God-fearing Americans are in the minority, and are persecuted on a daily basis. Operation Prayer Shield is busy protecting Jesus' voice on Earth (George W Bush) and sometimes lesser politicians will need to be unprotected for the greater good.
They are? YOu mean, like the 80%+ who say that they believe in God? Those God fearing Americans you mean? Such in the minority they are. Please, get a grip. Christianity has no hope of fading out in America, ever.
I think your sarcasm detector is on the blink.
; )
That would be a severe understatement.
Will Bill O'Rielly ever call Savage a far right looney?
Do not hold your breath , I believe that Savage is a hater and BO should say so since he is so high and mighty.
O'Reilly has called Savage "far right" before. He occasionally talks about a "hateful person" on right wing talk radio who he despises. He's obviously talking about Savage but doesn't want to mention him by name because that would give him more publicity.
My oh my...he has such an assortment to choose from, including himself. Let's not give any of them more publicity.
Funny, BilldO doesn't seem to have any reservations about mentioning liberal personalities and web sites by name.
Why would he want to give them more "publicity" with his audience, especially when checking most of them out would only discredit BO by exposing how much of his hate towards the left is based on his imagination?
"Funny, BilldO doesn't seem to have any reservations about mentioning liberal personalities and web sites by name"
He never mentions Olbermann by name.
Is KO the only liberal in the country? He mentions Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore, MoveOn, MMFA, DailyKos...Do you have a point?
HBL is right, O'Reilly doesn't go after right-wingers and his choice has nothing to do with publicity. O'Reilly is a Murdoch funded, GOP political operative.
He mentions Cindy Sheehan, Michael Moore, MoveOn, MMFA, DailyKos...Do you have a point?
Should read: O'Reilly mentions...
My point is that O'Reilly never talks about his competitors directly.
He's obviously talking about Savage but doesn't want to mention him by name because that would give him more publicity.
Are you sure he's talking about Savage? Bill-O also despises the right-wing extremist (and fake Libertarian) Neil Boortz too.
I'd NEVER heard of Mike Savage until I read this idiotic rant. This delusional Right Winger makes Rush Limbaugh sound moderate, and Bill O seem centrist! I mean,if Savage weren't a talk show host, but instead was spewing that feces on a street corner,he'd be pepper sprayed and arrested for being a public nuisance!
Hey, DOCTOR Savage, did Chuck Schumer cause the seizure that Justice Roberts had in 1993 as well, you freaking putz. Maybe Chuck used his superliberal powers of prophecy to determine that Roberts would someday be on the Supreme Court.
Yeah, that was probably the most ridiculous element of this story. Here's the quote:
And so, this is pretty amazing to me that he's had a seizure at age 52. That's a pretty amazing thing. They say that he had a similar episode in 1993 and that now they're telling us there's no cause for concern and you don't know what to believe.
So if I understand correctly, Justice Roberts had a seizure in his 30's, yet a seizure in his 50's is "amazing?" Does Weiner actually listen to the words that come out of his mouth? He just provided evidence that his whole diatribe was nonsense, and then just kept on going with it. I wonder what a trained clinical psychologist would say after reading the transcript of this nonsense. The man is absolutely demented.
I feel sorry for his feeble-minded listeners. Apparently Weiner has some Jim Jones-type effect on his listeners. If you listened to Savage spew this garbage and didn't immediately grasp the lunacy of it, then God help you because you are a complete moron.
Congrats, right-wingers. You should be proud to have this clown among your ranks.
I figure that in a day or so, Pat Robertson will hold Hugo Chavez responsible for Roberts' seizure...
Michael Weiner adjusts his tin foil hat, again ...
And MM buys it hook, line, and ....
The Chatty Checkers doll comes through again. The screechmonkey winds him up and programs him with utterly stupid excuses and on cue he comes in and regurgitates them. The Weinerdog plays you like a kazoo
When more moderate members of the Supreme Court were having health problems, I seem to recall that it was the Lord smiting them. You think maybe the Lord was smiting John Roberts?
More proof that savage is a big fat fake that needs to go back to selling vitamins.
Thank God someone has finally told it. Schumer and Democrats not only caused Judge Roberts's seizure, but the flooding in England and a recent heat wave in New York. Who knows what they are capable of--probably snow in December or January and shorter daylight hours this fall!
We're also 10 feet tall and can shoot thunderbolts out of our arses! Be afraid, be very afraid!
And how many Conservatives and Republicans scoffed at the idea there was a conspiracy to bring down Senator Paul Wellstone's plane within weeks of the election? The idea is as ridiculous then as it is now. Accidents happen.
Oh how I miss Paul Wellstone.
How about finding out who sent anthrax to Daschle?
Michael Savage (Weiner) has as much credibility in his broadcasts as he had in the book he published on homeopathy. Any person that could believe that the potency of a substance INCREASES with repeated dilutions should not be listened to about any subject, and when that mental foible is combined with his blind and unreasoning hatred of anything to the left of Attila the Hun, he becomes nothing more than a well-paid joke.
The people who believe what Michael Savage says are the same people who believe professional wrestling is real. Before he adopted his current persona, Savage couldn't get a decent-paying gig on TV or radio. He latched on to the simpletons who are now his fans in the same way Bush/Cheney/Rove latched onto the Pat Robertson/Jerry Falwell crowd.
Savage has the same level of respect for his audience that Bush and Rove have for the fundamentalist Christian Right, which is basically zero. I don't believe for a second that Savage believes the nutty things he says, but his schtick is a kind of virus. Just like at the wrestling match, the poor simpletons are completely taken in by all the smoke and bright lights and noise and drama. And when the performance is over, the fans go back to their trailer parks and spread the virus to all their neighbors and relatives.
Savage may be an actor, or he may be completely psychotic (it's got to be one or the other). In either case, it's both amazing and frightening that he actually has the third-highest rated radio talk show. I've listened to his show a few times, and he keeps me in stitches with his imbecilic ravings. It's really just hilarious if you can ignore the fact that there actually are people who think he's for real.
CHIEF JUSTICE JOHN ROBERTS BITCH SLAPPED BY GODhttp://www.americanpatriate.com/chief_justice_john_roberts_bitch_by_god3.html
"It is but a brush by hand of the Sun of God mocking his title as the Chief Justice and, too, His slight against the nation heralding herself as the greatest and most powerful nation on the planet," Yacub 7 Ali Prime Minister & national spokesman Lucifer Nigaros said. "Neither is he the Chief Justice of anything or this nation the greatest or most powerful."<P>I have to agree!
wow, inonymous, that is some site, lol!
Wow, savage has gone completely insane. Maybe his "show" will be gone soon, hopefully. This one is in the tradition of the theory that Bill Clinton killed his own mother with breast cancer because of what she knew about Whitewater. I guess there's no limit to the lunacy on the right. That's pretty scary, because it indicates that they are probably capable of anything.
This guy, it astounds me that he can remember to breath he's so stupid. I don't care if it's an act, it's still stupid, and he's still stupid. Remember the pipe blowing up in New York a couple of weeks ago? He was ranting on about that one night saying that how did the NYC officials KNOW that it wasn't a Muslim at the controls that made it blow up. Why didn't they check that out? Why aren't they checking it out now?
The man is certifiable, and should be taken away by nice young men in white coats.
Please, I'd like there to be a poll of those on the "left" who think that 9-11 was a put-up job, the buildings destroyed by explosives, and I'll bet you it's a tiny minority. Smaller than the percentage of right-wingers who believe that there is a coverup of "the good news" from Iraq. The right loves to focus on them, and equate the resistance to Bush's policies as "the 9-11 conspiracy theorists" and "Bush-haters."
What is self-evident, though, is that the Bush administration did not pay attention to pre-9/11 warnings. I don't know whether they did that because they were stupid, or if they were just waiting for an excuse to go to war. Conspiracy, if any, after the fact.
There are lots of right-wingers who go nuts when people say, "Bush lied." Well, it's true, we don't KNOW that he lied, but any sentient being would be if they said what he says. Maybe he's just thunderingly stupid, but I don't think so. He must have been conscious of the lying, and told a few on his own.
Surprised that the Savage Weiner didn' blame this on the homosexual Mafia who are out to get him.
This thread is a waist of time....... I am a Hardcore Savage fan, but do not believe a word he saying above. Why, he is throwing more BS out there. Glad I know the difference. This has nothing to do with, Conservative Missinformation, IMO.
I was going to respond to your comment, but then realized, aha, YOU are throwing out BS and I should know the difference. Good post, the double flip, backwards twist in the pike postion BS throw!! I give it a 8.9 .
What other things that Savage says don't you believe? I believe that this list is probably short. I'm sure you're on board with just about everything else he says. You know, equating dems with the Nazis and KKK, how illegal immigrants are the scum of the Earth and so on and so forth.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Based on your lashing out at me, I will answer none of your questions.
Even you Weinerdog worshippers have to admit it. The mans cookie crumbled loooong ago. He is in desperate need of massive doses of anti psychotics and a long rest in a rubber room shared with Cleopatra and an old lady knitting something that isnt there.
I'd never have believed it possible, but this lying, psychopathic imbecile actually makes uber-jerks like Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter seem --- ugh --- normal.
God created Roberts seizure so must be a liberal.
Well then, Mister Savage, maybe there's a conspiracy to be found in Senator Tim Johnson too?
It's pretty clear that Savage Weiner caused the seizures himself, in an attempt to pin this conspiracy theory on the Left. Why does Mr. Weiner hate America, and specifically our Supreme Court?
To paraphrase Glenn Beck - Prove to me, Weiner, sir, that you are not working for the enemy...
Savage Weiner...
Delusional. It's amazing this man has an audience. How stupid can people be to listen to this moron?
Taking this rant of his serious could be considered stupid.
Cheers,
Chris King
Making appologies for this obvious insanity, by pretending to amazing mind reading powers is most DEFINITLY stupid.
Where did I appologise?
That WASNT an appology for the Weinerdog? Werent you implying that it was a Weinerjoke? Why shouldnt we take obvious insanity seriously when people consistantly come in here and show that THEY take the Weinerdog seriously? The mans elevator clearly doesnt go all the way to the top and yet he has psychophantic followers who DO take him seriously as long as they do and the Weinerdog has a pretty big audience I think its a good idea to take his psychotic rantings seriously, saying that doing so is stupid is certainly a good way to give cover to his insanity. Maybe that is just coincidental.
Your rants have me wondering if YOUR eleveator goes to the top. Grow a stomach Solon, it will help you get through these oh so tough times.
So, I bet you feel he can say NOTHING right?
Forget about your amazing mind reading powers dude. They dont exist. I think he ought to say anything he wants, then WE get to talk about the obviously psychopathic stupidity of those comments that is the way it works did you think ONLY insane rantings from a psycho like Weinerdog was freedom of expression? NO, that isnt how taht works our criticisms OF his insanity are also a use of freedom of expression. Grow a couple of brain cells they would certainly do YOU some good.
Really got ya worked up there, I saw a typo for the first time in your 1000's of threads... :0)
"Forget about your amazing mind reading powers dude."???? You speak for Savage all the time. Learn from yourself. Below is one example of many.
HMMM, you ask what lies he has told I cough up three in about two minutes of looking for specific examples. You dont even TRY to refute them. I guess you dont really CARE if he lies or not. You just like the insanity, so what if he lies well thats fine just stop pretending he doesnt lie. By any reasonable standard he does. Just because he is so insane he might believe these things as well as that the molemen are putting aluminum in his toothpaste and that 900 year old Templer Knights dirty his car tires while he sleeps doesnt stop them from being lies.
Apparently you"geniuses" here failed to heed the main point of the show which was that the idiot Shumer thinks he alone has the power to, for all intents and purposes, name his own supreme court justices. Shumer is so intent on getting lib judges that he's gone completely power-mad. He is a menace!
Are you seriously suggesting that Savage actually has a point? If so, you have no business being so snarky in talking about people who disagree with you. If you actually have any documented facts to back up your claim (other than what you get from Fox News, The Drudge Report or NewsMax), you should cite them. If the best you can do is emulate Savage (or whatever his real name is) by resorting to meaningless sarcasm and name-calling, then no one here is really listening to you anyway.
I promise you, relying on facts and living in the real world will not automatically cause you to become a liberal. Just try using facts and logic sometime - you might actually like it. I'm really just trying to help you.
Apparantly morons like YOU thought he HAD a point. Insane rantings do not constitute a point. Trying to percieve hidden messages in them calls YOUR sanity into question.
Apparantly morons like YOU take him seriously.
And apparantly sad, pathetic brain dead cretins like YOU still think I know you are but what am I is clever. Please beg borrow or steal a functioning cerebral cortex your posts have my brain cells screaming the STUPID, the STUPID, it hurts dont read anymore please. and begging for the sweet release of a coma
People like Savage just need to keep on talking. More and more people are going to realize that these folks are just plain looney tunes.
Why would Schumer's words upset Roberts anyway? He is in, isn't he? And he was on vacation. Bush and company are the ones who might have been upset. To the point of having a seizure? I think not.
What an ignorant schmuck Savage is. He and nutcase Bill O need to keep making idiots out of themselves. More votes for the Democrats when it comes out in the wash. The people who aren't tired of them all are just as looney I would assume. Including all the viewers at the White House.
Does anybody with a brain actually "believe" anything this idiot says?
Call me a conspiracy nut if you wish but the counter arguments regarding 911 for example usually come down to : well you tell me why you think it is impossible that a given president/group could stage or allow an attack on this country if it could be used to advance their agenda. Usually I hear that it is inconceivable period or some variation on that. Any other country in the history of the world and I think almost everyone would admit it is possible and in one way or another has happened to other nations. Specifically-- why not here? It is a categorical presumption in this country that it is impossible and that makes it much more likely to happen. Is it really healthy to conclusively presume the leaders of our nation could never deal falsely with us? I think it is unhealthy and places us at risk. When things go wrong that end up advancing the leaderships agenda or power then I think we should be sceptical and scrutinize the events very suspiciously. The conventional wisdom is just the opposite. There are a few salient facts that make me think that 911 was an inside job. I may be wrong but if you say it is impossible I think you have not really done your job as a citizen. We should always be sceptical of leaders who gain from failures that happen on their watch.
Letter I wrote to Talk Radio Network: Sirs: I object in the most strenuous way to Mr., Savages' comments in the July 30 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show. Michael Savage reacted to news that Chief Justice John Roberts had suffered a seizure that day by raising the possibility that "his health was in some way tampered with by the Democrats." In detail he said: "Am I to believe that there's no connection between Charles Schumer on Friday saying that he would never appoint, or never, excuse me, approve another Bush appointment to the court, to any court? And then the chief justice suffers a so-called seizure two days later? You're telling me there's no possibility of a conspiracy by the Democrats to have caused this seizure in some manner? Tell me that it's not possible. Tell me that the stakes are not so high that the liberals -- who've finally lost the court after 50 years -- that they would stop short of anything like this. Tell me it's not possible, and I'll tell you you're a liar." This is immoral, irresponsible, unpatriotic, obscene, idiotic and untruthful--propaganda in its' most disgusting form. You may choose to frame this as a "First Amendment" issue, and that's fine. You are using public airwaves, granted to you by the FCC, to whom I have already complained. More importantly, I am framing this as a "Free Market" issue and took it upon myself to perform the extremely unpleasant task of monitoring Mr. Savages' broadcast of unrelenting bile and ignorant blather for two days simply to compile a list of his shows' sponsors. I have already contacted his sponsors, informing them that I will no longer use their products and services until they specifically disavow Mr. Savage and quit advertising on his show. I have posted the sponsors and their CEO's email addresses on my blog for my readers to do likewise. I have joined several consumer services "bloghammer" groups to apply pressure to the sponsors. You may chose to let people like Mr. Savage use your FCC license to spread hate, lies, bigotry, sedition and distrust, sirs, but I assure you that many of your sponsors will think twice about buying advertising on your network. Good day, gentlemen. Dr. Donald B. MacGowan Complaints may be emailed to: affiliates@talkradionetwork.com, info@talkradionetwork.com, michaelsavage@paulreveresociety.com
Savage lives in Marin County, one of the most liberal parts of California. If you look closely at the photo you will see the base of the Golden Gate Bridge.
His hypocrisy is such that he qualifies to be part of the Bush Administration. He doesn't believe any of the stuff he says, he's just jerking people for the ratings which enables the radio station to sell more Depends ads.
Also a draft dodger btw. He doesn't mention that often, does he??
A draft dodger? Really? I can not find a source for that. Can you help me?
Who listens to this idiot? Other idiots, I guess.
Speaking causes seizures now? Had I known...
Let me get this straight. A "liberal" is supposed to have the "power" to cause a seizure in the Chief of the Supreme Court of the US Govmt.
Interesting.
I refer the conservatives to the former Sec Def Rumsfeld: S*** happens. Get used toit you f***ing cowards.
Oh. I forgot. God gave a pass to all conservatives on facing reality.
I have taken an opportunity in the pass to listen to Mr. Savage radio show. I did listen over a period of time to be fair to Mr. Savage. I find him to be one of the most angry white men I ve ever heard on the Radio. He rants, raves, shouts and tells people they are worthless trash. Mr. Savage claims to have a Phd. I would be embarrassed to be an Alumni of any university he attended.
What I find most disturbing about Mr. Savage is his anger, distortion of the truth, bigotry and hatred is accepted and even cherished by his listeners. Why is it ok in the American midea for this type of discussion to be allowed? It is one thing for heated discussion on opposing views, yet Mr. Savage puts hate and anger before any logical discussion of the facts.
Why is it you make it sound like ALL he does is yell for 3 hours a day? It is just plain not true.
You say he is lying as if what he said he thought to be real and pass it off as so. How pathetic is that...... Look, if you do not have the stomach to listen to him, then turn the station. I really wish people could put their hatred for others aside. I see equal hatred on this forum for others views. Where has Savage Lied? Opinions are not lies, would you agree?
An opinion CAN be a lie when stated as fact if I said you molested small furry animals would the fact it was my opinion mean it WASNT a lie? Or DO you molest small furry animals?
Here is the thing the Weinerdog is so insane he might even believe the bizarre psychopathic nonsense he spews but some of it is flat out factually without merit, lies really. If like in my above example accuse someone of something JUST because you dont like them and dont have the slightest evidence to back it up which the insane Weinerdog does all the time it can reasonably be called a lie for example
He accused Dem congressman Hinchey of being in cahoots with al Queda
http://mediamatters.org/items/200705110010
He accused MMFA of taking him out of context without ever even ATTEMPTING to give an example
http://mediamatters.org/items/200611300012
He called Madeline Albright a traitor
http://mediamatters.org/items/200610100007
He made all those claims KNOWING he didnt have the slightest evidence they were true. The Weinerdog is a liar.
Is that the best you can do? I am not impressed what so ever.
Cheers,
Chris King

Solon, arguing with you is a waist of time. If you where rational from the beginning, I would carry on.
Good day Solon,
Chris King.
I agree with everything Michael Savage has said as quoted in this puerile posting. Media Matters is a despicable, subversive and (I believe) illicit arm of the Democrat party. Spending your days and nights in your basements in your underpants with a tape recorder, trying to get people fired (i.e., nullifying their right to free speech because they differ with you politically) by repeating what they say out of context, is one of the most shameful abuses of the Internet imaginable. Pathetic losers, all. Get a real job, get a real life.
Lot of projection there from a really shining example of abject stupidity. You are a classic moron. Ashamed of being a loser of monumental proportions you project the only thing you know the collosal failure of YOUR life on to us. Its ok, we understand you are far too stupid to ever hold down a real job or even learn to tie your own shoes its ok. However coming here and lying about this website, projecting your inadequacies onto us, being brainwashed by the ReNAMBLAcan party is not going to make your pathetic life any better. Go outside and play and let the adults talk now.
My intro to Mr Savage was when congress debated the resolution to authorize the Iraq invasion. Kucinich had argued against it on the floor of congress. My copy of the constitution seems to give the power to declare to the congress and it was the topic of debate. Savage was ranting that Kucinich should be found guilty of treason because as a member of congress in a debate on the issue --he was antiwar. DO YOU AGREE WITH HIM ON THAT COMMENT. DO YOU THINK THAT WAS THE INTENT OF THE FOUNDERS. DO NOT SUGGEST THAT SAVAGE HAS ANYTHING BUT CONTEMPT FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND THE CONSTITUTION.
That is given that he had a moment of lucidity and understood it.
Such hypocrisy! So quick to yell "conspiracy" when it's directed at the other side but so quick to deny a "conspiracy" when it's directed at his side. Let's change his words around some to prove my point:
Am I to believe that there's no connection between The Project For A New American Century which has Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz among others as members saying in 2000 that a "New Pearl Harbor" was needed to get congress and the American people to back a series of wars in order to reshape the Middle East? And then one year later with the "crazies" in power they get their "New Pearl Harbor"? You're telling me there's no possibility of a conspiracy by the NeoCons to use false flag terrorism to achieve their agenda? Tell me it's not possible, and I'll tell you you're a liar.
