Boortz's commentary on his inability to use a floor buffer: "I would make a lousy Mexican"

On the April 10 edition of his nationally syndicated radio show, Neal Boortz asserted, "I would make a lousy Mexican." Engineer and "sidekick" Royal Marshall asked Boortz: "Why is that?" Boortz responded, "Well, because I wanted to scrub the hangar floor the other day, so I went and rented one of these big buffers," later adding: "I turned on that buffer, and it damn near killed me! It was dragging me across the hangar floor, throwing me around like I -- it was like a dog shaking a cat or something like that. You know, that's skilled labor."
Later in the show, a caller recounted a story, saying he "was in a parking lot and witnessed a wreck on the road. And it was one of the illegals from south of the border and didn't have insurance. He ran, came into the parking lot, and was going to run my wife and myself down to get away from the police. But I was carrying a weapon; my son was carrying a weapon. We both drew down on him." Boortz interrupted, "Qué pasa? Qué pasa?" The caller said the man "got out of the truck spouting Spanish." After the caller finished his story, Boortz commented, "You know, I think with this Rosetta Stone software -- you know, Spanish-language software -- I think the first phrase they teach you is, you know, 'Hands against the -- hands against the car and hood, and spread 'em.' "
From the April 10 edition of Cox Radio Syndication's The Neal Boortz Show:
BOORTZ: No. I think no, Tiger Woods will not win the Masters.
MARSHALL: OK, good. I stand alone, and on Monday, I want you all to say, "You were right, Royal."
BOORTZ: Hey, we can do more than that. You got some cash?
MARSHALL: I'm tired of betting with you.
BOORTZ: Why?
MARSHALL: I still have to wash your damn plane -- which I still think I won that bet.
BOORTZ: About the airplane taking off on the treadmill?
MARSHALL: Because the remote control plane did not fly. The big plane flew. So it's 50-50. I should only have to wash one-half of the plane.
BOORTZ: Oh, yeah, wash one wing.
MARSHALL: Yeah.
BOORTZ: Yeah. That's gonna work. That's gonna work. And speaking of that, like I told you the other day, I would make a lousy Mexican.
MARSHALL: Why is that?
BOORTZ: Well, because I wanted to scrub the hangar floor the other day, so I went and rented one of these big buffers.
MARSHALL: Yeah.
BOORTZ: You know? You hold the handle? I put the brush on it, I put the water down, I got -- and I turned on that buffer, and it damn near killed me! It was dragging me across the hangar floor, throwing me around like I -- it was like a dog shaking a cat or something like that. You know, that's skilled labor.
BELINDA SKELTON (producer): Was it just pulling you through the hangar?
BOORTZ: Oh, it was just thrashing me all around. That's skilled labor, folks. OK, we'll be back.
[...]
BOORTZ: I don't want to go out there with a concealed weapon looking -- and I'm not assigning this to you -- but I don't want to out there looking for the opportunity to be a hero and use that gun to save somebody from a beating or what-have-you. But if the occasion ever arises, I at least want to be in a position to do something other than say, "Hey, you -- stop that."
CALLER: Well, you know, that happened to me recently. I was in a parking lot and witnessed a wreck on the road. And it was one of the illegals from south of the border and didn't have insurance. He ran, came into the parking lot, and was going to run my wife and myself down to get away from the police. But I was carrying a weapon; my son was carrying a weapon. We both drew down on him. He stopped, oh --
BOORTZ: Qué pasa? Qué pasa?
CALLER: [inaudible] the police?
BOORTZ: Qué pasa?
CALLER: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that was it. He got out of the car -- or actually it was a pick-up -- got out of the truck spouting Spanish, and I'll tell you, that wasn't it, you know, by that time [inaudible] --
BOORTZ: Did he have the sense to lay down on the road and --
CALLER: My son knows enough Spanish to handle that part of it. And once that took over -- he took over, he's a policeman, you know -- he knew. But no, he didn't have insurance, he didn't have, you know, license, whatever --
BOORTZ: You know, I think with this Rosetta Stone software -- you know, Spanish-language software -- I think the first phrase they teach you is, you know, "Hands against the -- hands against the car and hood, and spread 'em."
CALLER: Right. That -- it should be. But I agree. I don't believe they should have the right to search your car. I mean, they don't have the right to search your car for anything else --
BOORTZ: That is -- that's an interesting point. Your employer ought to have -- your employer ought to have to go through the same, the same procedures that a law enforcement should have to go to before they search your car.

He's right. Floor buffers are hard to use.
I'll go along with that. He makes a lousy human, so it stands to reason that he'd make a lousy human of a specific nationality.
Nice going Arch, you broke the thread ;-)
trying to fix
Wish me luck!
P.S. Boortz is a shmuck [just to stay on topic]
Well that didn't work :-/
Hey Neal. The occasion did arise. It was called the draft. You evaded it and now you've grown a pair?
Neal Boortz, the scumbags, scumbag!
And by the way Neal, you'd have learned to use a floor buffer in basic training.
1908? Did you serve under General Pershing?
Wow! Another 1969 graduate of using an old army blanket, an electric buffer and will power. I never recovered from polishing that little strip of flooirng that ran down the middle of the barracks. We were forbidden to walk on it, but the Drill Sgt gleefully strolled up and down on it in his boots.
Ah, the memories! Cheney, Wolfowitz, Limbaugh, Bremer, Boortz, et al,...all the draft-dodging chicken hawks just kinda melt together after a while into a puddle of disgusting, white, pasty goo. They'll never know what they missed, but we can see that they've never done anything to actually build character.

They have built character. It's a cartoon character, but a character nonetheless.
To their supporters they're all heroes now and we're traitors. Talk about an upside down world.
He ran, came into the parking lot, and was going to run my wife and myself down to get away from the police. But I was carrying a weapon; my son was carrying a weapon. We both drew down on him. He stopped, oh --
Bull$h#t . . . cough . . .bull$h#t. How slow must this guy have been driving when he was about to "run them down" that they had time to draw down and him be able to see them and stop? What am I saying the guys whole story was total crap.
Cowards are especially brave when telling a story about being behind a gun.
That was a wonderful assessment! Did you think of that all by yourself sitting in your parents basement?
Caller - ...And it was one of the illegals from south of the border and didn't have insurance.
Did they just inadvertently make the case for driver's licences for the undocumented?
You're talking to a knuckledragger.
You know what I miss? I miss those old "Fritio Bandito" commercials for the corn chips. And what ever happened to Bill Dana and his "Jose Jimenez" character?
Priceless stuff.
I'm going to have to give Boortz a pass on this one - come on , life is way too short.
(And don't forget, Bill O. is a mean hombre when it comes to the race baiting stuff!)
Without a doubt. Same old stupid, different name.
But for awhile there, I thought every new troll was him.
My name? Jose Jimenez. What's jures?
(You gotta love that Bill Dana!)
Bill Dana died.
(And don't forget, Bill O. is a mean hombre when it comes to the race baiting stuff!)
Yes. He, like you, is a master baiter.
Do you guys ever listen to the Boortz show? I do actually, mostly because I like to hear what the pretentious windbag is yapping about on a daily basis. I swear, he could have taped a show in, oh, 1995, and just kept replaying it.
At some point in time he's going to get all riled up about "government schools" and how they're so bad for our country.
Then, he'll move onto a call from someone who disagrees with him about how GREAT The Fair Tax would be, and then he shuts off their call, and berates that person for being stupid for daring to disagree with him.
And then, at some point in time, he'll talk bad about Mexicans, and or black people.
Then finally, he'll top it off by yacking on and on about how bad the government is, and how they LOVE to waste our money (this is presumably his "libertarian" part of the program).
Funny how someone who claims he's no republican seems to hold the line down pretty well as far as right wing talking points on a daily basis. Boortz is a tool-bag, I'm pretty much convinced of that. He's also the guy who berated the kids who got killed at VT for not trying to take down the gunman, and it's all because of the government schools, and the so called wussification of America as he calls it. Funny. I'd love to see someone pull a gun on him, and see what he does aside from pee his pants, and fall down crying on the ground. I hate talk radio tough guys.
I've never heard him say anything bad about black people. Back up your claim.
Too easy!
Boortz: "[P]rimary blame" for Katrina goes to "worthless parasites who lived in New Orleans"
Boortz, who's said congresswoman "looks like a ghetto slut," blasted "denigration of black women through rap music"
Boortz: "[S]ome time over the next couple of weeks, Cynthia McKinney will show her ass again"
Boortz: "[T]housands" of Katrina victims are "deadbeat[s]"; "[s]o many" have "turned out to be complete bums, just debris"
Boortz claimed McKinney "looked like a welfare drag queen"; predicted "Media Matters will pick up on that"
Boortz: Rep. McKinney "looks like a ghetto slut"

Take the little ride through the ghetto like I suggested, and when you see with your own eyes the the lazy jobless bums drinking and getting high at 11:00am...while being funded with your tax dollars through welfare/low income housing/food stamps/other handouts, you will realize that this is not a matter of race, it is a matter of parasite bums draining the system. Liberal policy supports this lifestyle and behavior through promoting higher taxes to fun these handouts. None of this is bigotted, racist, or whatever "-ist" you want to label it, it's simply the reality of what goes on every day, and it is wrong to support.
I do not see myself as superior to anyone on a human level. On the scale of success, yes, I am superior, that’s not a question, it is reality….hard numbers don’t lie. And about me being a scared little man, laughable. Liberals are the only scared ones…all pent up in their middle/upper class safe white neighborhoods….never seeing first hand the injustice and waste of our tax dollars by the system parasites.
Sure you can, if I saw you on the street or in the store or something, I'd probably judge you as a normal, kind person who treats others with respect. You would think the same of me, because I am clean cut and respectful to everyone I deal with in person. Its funny, because God only knows if we have actually crossed paths at some point and got along, not knowing we are actually online rivals.
Additionally, I feel my judgment of mckinney is fair based on her actions: she goes out in public looking like a mess, and punches police officers...how much more ghetto trashy can you get?
Jeesh, it's too easy to totally refute just about anything you put up here.
BS! The man is a RACIST!
I've never heard him say anything bad about black people.
You just proved you've never heard his show.
Friday Mar 31 2006 Quote about Rep Mckinney,"Looks like a gheto slut."
Its in the Boortz file on site. However he shows up here usually regarding conservative missinformation about the latino population. Given the oportunity I'm sure he's willing to vent his spleen about any population, expect his own rich white male population, of course.
Get a thingie for Mingie!!
I feel bad for all those areas that have Smealy Woortz..They tried putting him in Pittsburgh at 7:00pm but he failed miserably..so he's gone. Now if we can O'Reilly off that prime spot...10:00pm---Midnight, things will get a little better. Limbaugh is not the greatest during his slot as Hartmann and a KDKA yokel Miller are out doing the OxyKing.
Smealy, it is nice to have you gone....you made Pittsburgh dumber during your stay...Thank God it was short.
BOORTZ: ...so I went and rented one of these big buffers.
Oh, I completely misunderstood this item. It's about Boortz's date with Jeff Gannon.
Go to following blog for some great information on Boortzs life as a prolific liar, He could be in the top 3 on talk radio today, maybe the numero-uno talking babblehead!
http://blogs.creativeloafing.com/johnsugg/2005/09/
Scroll down through the page for the truth on Boortz and his lying about graduating from college, and being 4-F during the Vietnam War ! After being caught red-handed and outed, he refuses to discuss his bold-faced lying to anyone who would listen to him since 1967!
"...pulling guns in parking lots IF it was all based on assumptions and sterotypical views of people."
Fool, according to the story told, the guns were pulled because they witnessed a hit and run. Then, there was apparently a threat to these men's immediate safety. It's not that hard to follow. Thank God for conceal and carry laws, or this guy would have gotten away, and the poor person who initially got hit would have been SOL (actually, they still are since an illegal sleeze will post bail, and never show up in court). I personally experienced a minor hit and run, it sucked...I wish 2 men with guns would have been there to stop the driver that just hit me (who could not speak english, and just by chance happened to be mexican,
PS - the driver's license and insurance issue was most likely discovered when police arrived on the scene to handle things. Common sense goes a long way.
In your case, common sense doesn't even get out of the starting gate.
And, for the record:
Fool, according to the story told, the guns were pulled because they witnessed a hit and run.
Next time you make a post, put the word "Fool" on the last line, by itself. That's the proper place for your signature.
Nice. When the analysis of the issue at hand is correct, and you really have nothing to say, attack the guy who said it. Thank you, and have a good weekend.
Racist jerk probably considers himself a comedian and therefore deserves a pass. He's racist. Mexican Americans are some of the hardest working people in this country. Period. I don't think their entry into the country is fair, but I must admit, they work hard.
Let me be more specific. I don't think illegal immigration should be as rampant as it is. If you're here legally it's all good.
"I would make a lousy Mexican."
Yes, they work for a living. You bolviate.
