On the August 7 edition of Fox News Radio's The John Gibson Show, guest host Chris Krok described Sen. Barack Obama as "a stinky, hot, steamy crap sandwich," a "steamy crap sandwich," and a "stinking crap sandwich."

Referring to Obama, Krok said:

This whole thing, you know what it is? It is Christmas morning and you wake up and there is a beautiful present beneath the tree. And it looks so beautiful it is awesome. It's like you're so excited and you're so everything, you know, "Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama, Obama." You're cheering, you're cheering, you're cheering, "Obama, Obama, Obama." And then you open up the present and you go, "Oooh, I can't wait." Your mouth is salivating, and watering, and you're getting so -- "Ooooh." And you get the present, and you get your hands -- "Oh yeah." And you're going to rip it up. You open it up, and then what is inside is a sandwich. And you get excited, "Oh, a sandwich." And you take a big bite of that sandwich. But what is it? What's inside of that sandwich? It is a stinking -- stinky, hot, steamy crap sandwich. It is a stinky, hot -- it is a steaming, hot pile of crap wedged between two pieces of bread. That is what Barack Obama is. He is a steamy crap sandwich. He is a fraud.

Krok later stated: "Let me tell you something Obama is that stinking crap sandwich. He is a fraud":

KROK: You've made up your mind and because you lost your job, you'll be just like Obama, growing up African-American and biracial. And so you let that stuff take you -- take the negativity, take you negative, and you go negative. And so you're going to vote not for something, you're voting against something. See, and you lost your job, so you're going to vote against McCain. Not because -- you're not voting for Obama, you're voting against McCain because something bad happened to you. Let me tell you something, Obama is that stinking crap sandwich. He is a fraud.

You know, I have a hard time believing that if I stood on a street corner with a megaphone and recited this word for word that I would not either be arrested or beat to cr@ p by someone. I dare you, KROK, to spew this vile hatred on a street corner in any town in America.

This is an example of the 'lunatic' theory of politics.  If you find enough lunatics to the left or right of the candidate, the candidate seems pretty reasonable.

The system is shifted so far to the right, you have to go pretty far to find a sufficient lunatic.

Chris's surname--KROK--is wonderfully appropriate!  Tune into KROK and get your crock . . . .  Why would anyone tune into any FOX station.  How long can one listen to these pathetic imbeciles without being overwhelmed by nausea?  Isn't it time to ask Congress to examine the criteria which allows these foul mouths and vile minds to dominate the airwaves?

Why must your comment spew more hatred. Why can't we all have our own opinions about someone - just because we may not always agree, doesn't mean you have to call them an idiot. It's still a free country and people can watch and listen to whatever they want. That rapper's song was full of hatred and he's still allowed to sell it and make money from words of hatred toward other human beings he doesn't even know. Why do politics have to be so full of hatred, just because people have different opinions and ideas. Dems - let's keep our minds open. If you don't like Fox, don't watch it. If you do, great, that's ok. If you don't like CNN, don't watch it. I don't want our country to end up with a communistic approach to government controlled media - I don't want the government to tell me who I have to listen to or who I can't listen to. The government has no role in controlling in our media so setting "criteria" as was mentioned in an earlier post is another word for government controlled messaging - which is what communist countries like China do right now. Keep an open mind and let others have their own opinions. If you don't like their opinion, it's not nice to call them an idiot.

On the other hand, after hearing his show a couple of times (it was on pretty late) maybe it was St. Paul that said he broadcast from Minneapolis.

              Snoop,

While I wouldn't put Krok in the category of Prominent Republican/Conservative [I've never heard of him], it is still embarrassing to most of us on the Right, or Center/Right, whenever one of these dipsh#t small fry radio hosts spews this kind of garbage.

Now I wouldn't be shocked if a few lesser-known radio hosts on the Left have called Bush [or other Republicans] a nasty thing or two, but since it wouldn't be highlighted here, & I haven't personally heard/read of anything, I'd only be speculating about that.

Quite frankly I never saw the big deal of folks referring to Edwards as the Breck Girl, or Clinton as Bubba, or Cheney as Darth Vader etc. But for anyone to call a Presidential candidate a piece of crap, or in this instance a crap sandwich, or anything along those lines is way beyond what I believe should be acceptable to any of us, Left, Center or Right. It's not funny. It should be condemned by other Republican/Conservatives. I wish more would speak up against these low life jerks that make these kinds of remarks.. And to be honest it really does blow my mind that this guy Krok would have even said this on the air. What the heck was he thinking? I guess he wasn't...

If these shock jocks think they can help the Republicans win this election by name-calling, I think they are in for a shock. Most Americans are getting sick of dirty politics.

Krok owes Barak Obama an apology. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

Racist ? See The Capital Times article below:

MADISON . . . WTDY-AM radio talk jock Chris Krok launched into a racist tirade on his April 3 show while discussing the case of a young Somali, Jamal Mohamed, who died in police custody a few months earlier. His comments related to the investigation of Mohamed's death and the lawsuit 29 Madison police officers filed to prevent the city from releasing their names.

Saying the officers needed protection from Mohamed's family (which had allegedly threatened retaliation), Krok mocked the Somalis by playing Middle Eastern music, feigning a phony Arab accent (Somalia is in east Africa) and saying "Bang, bang, I kill you!" He invoked the memory of the film Black Hawk Down, about the 1993 battle in Mogadishu in which 18 Americans were killed by Somalis.

The Capital Times reported that when listeners tried to admonish Krok, the talk jock berated them and cut them off.

Krok drew widespread criticism last year when he used the words "bitch" and "bitch slap" in reference to State Rep. Terese Berceau. District Attorney Brian Blanchard investigated but ruled out hate crime charges in that incident. Krok also fanned resentment over a Pledge of Allegiance controversy with the Madison school board, in the process questioning the right of member Shwaw Vang, who is Hmong, to sit on the board. Krok mistakenly called Vang Vietnamese.

It goes, "Life is like a [crap] sandwich. The more bread you've got, the less [crap] you have to eat."

The voice is higher than normal, the words just tumble out without even going through the brain (if there IS one), gasping, yelling, full of himself, enamored of himself and not even realizing how stupid he sounds. Krok is truly full of Krack AND Krap. Way to GO, John! Have this "thing" on more often. Just one more moronic demographic group to be represented. Democracy in action?

OK now it's time! I remember when fox first aired when my parents started to watch this crap of a show religiously. They were both in their mid 60's. My parents went from liberal tolerant approachable people in matters of politics. life's choices and a person's right to ascension to intolerable, unmovable and fearful of the changing world around them. Around the age of 72-75 with no diagnosis of dementia they, like many of the geriatrics of their generation I take care of, start to slip into the fear of limited resources...depression era thinking. There's a reason why we have sayings like "sharp as a tack" and "spry"  Because the mind does start to deteriorate to some degree..J McCain... Any way, I don't believe in censorship but I am going to my parents house and setting the parental controls on the remote to block fox news. It is the best thing for them now that they are in their 80's. They'll just think it got canceled, which it should! And, I am doing it to all the TV's in my nursing home and get all my nurse friends in other buildings to do the same. So all you people out there that can, do your parents a favor and block fox news. They censored bad things for us when we were little and impressionable now it's time to return the favor. Now that's an easy revolution!!!
