On his radio show, Michael Savage said, "The Democrat [sic] Party is the minority party. ... Obama is a minority, a half minority at least. The membership is made up largely of minority blocs, the Hispanic caucus and the gay caucus -- caucuses that are all against the white person." Savage also claimed: "Now, the white women generally are not as hard-nosed about things as the white male, and so many white women don't even understand that they're being duped, and they vote for a Democrat, not knowing that they're digging their own grave."
On the August 25 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio show, Michael Savage said, "The Democrat [sic] Party is the minority party. There is no question about it. Savage added that Democrats are "trying to pose as a centrist party, trying to win over the white male voter" and claimed: "Now, the white women generally are not as hard-nosed about things as the white male, and so many white women don't even understand that they're being duped, and they vote for a Democrat, not knowing that they're digging their own grave." He then said: "But now they're going after the working-class white male, who is traditionally leery of the Sister Helen Prejeans, the gay lobby, the caucuses and the other lobbies that are trying to take away his child's birthright."
Savage has previously claimed that people are trying to "steal" a "white male[] birthright." As Media Matters for America noted, on the January 15, 2007, broadcast of his radio show, Savage called "civil rights" a "con" and asserted: "It's a racket that is used to exploit primarily heterosexual, Christian, white males' birthright and steal from them what is their birthright and give it to people who didn't qualify for it."
Talk Radio Network, which syndicates Savage's show, claims that Savage is heard on more than 350 radio stations. The Savage Nation reaches at least 8.25 million listeners each week, according to Talkers Magazine, making it one of the most listened-to talk radio shows in the nation, behind only The Rush Limbaugh Show and The Sean Hannity Show.

Yes, he is aware of the fact that the Democrat Party wants to continue these programs, which say to him, "If you have a daughter who excels in school, as a white man, and your daughter, even though you're a working-class guy, gets straight A's in high school, she will not get into the best colleges. She will go to a second-tier college, and those positions will be reserved for minorities because of affirmative action." The white male knows this, and he's not willing to sacrifice his child's future for the sake of political correctness to the extent that the white woman might be willing to do so.

Well, take into account that approximately 72 million Americans are registered as democrats (42.6% if the entire country), and then take into account that the USA as a whole is 68% non-Hispanic white, then we can say that it stands to reason that approximately 49 million members of the Democratic party are, yes, non-Hispanic white.

What I find most humorous about Savage’s pandering to the “white male” crowd is that those who actually speak of it — the Aryan Nations of the country — hate him. Think of every anti-Semitic remark you can, and then some, and then you’ll know the words and phrases they use to describe him. I wish I had a grounding in psychology to be able to better understand why this guy courts these people so hard. Is there such a thing as “moth to the flame syndrome?”

He courts them b/c they have made him a rich man. They are his listeners - low to lower-middle class whites, high school diplomas and less. I remember the one who called in to recite the poem he had written - he spoke of all the groups that were ruining America (in his mind) and the refrain contained the phrase "and then I buy another bullet." Savage let him read it on air. It tells you what this group, including Savage, are all about. When Savage screams into the mic asking "When is this country going to wake up!?!?!?!" he is asking when the "followers" are going to use their bullets. The followers financially support him, through advertisers, and directly through donations to his fund, b/c he is their "prophet" who tells them the truth of all things........

That's code talk for racism. Reminds me of when I lived in Southern Colorado, and used to phone in to the local radio talk shows. One of the guys I used to do battle with was a high muckety-muck in the Republican Party in Colorado Springs, and I actually heard him say on the radio one day that his biggest objection to Affirmative Action was that it "took jobs away from white men" - as if to imply that white men are supposed to get first pick at everything, with women and minorities supposed to be tankful for whatever was left......
That and statistics just, well, prove him outright incorrect and wrong.
Savage inadvertently makes a good case for healthcare and education for all. I mean remove high costs and open up opportunity in the spirit of healthy competition and this pissed off idea of, "you're getting ahead at my expense," fades away.

If a minority is not allowed into a job or school due to their race that is racism. If a white person is not allowed into a job or school due to their race that is racism. To allow 0% minorities in a company or school is racism. To force companies or schools to have x% of minority membership is racism. This is because you would have to judge the people on their race. Both sides are right. Get rid of affirmative action, but ensure that people can fight racism if they experience it.
