Minneapolis radio host Baker: Media Matters "can kiss my supple buttocks"
Responding to a Media Matters item, Chris Baker said: "Media Matters people can kiss my supple buttocks. What I say is what I say, and if they don't like it, instead of hiding like a bunch of commie girls, they can challenge me if they like."

On the September 19 broadcast of his Minneapolis radio show, Chris Baker addressed a Media Matters for America item documenting his September 18 remark that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-CA) reported response to the Wall Street crisis was "[a]nother reason why it's very rare to find a woman worthy of serving in political office." During a discussion with a caller, Baker said: "[B]y the way, as I'm sitting here, I have made the Media Matters hit list once again, which I'm very proud of. I love -- Media Matters people can kiss my supple buttocks. What I say is what I say, and if they don't like it, instead of hiding like a bunch of commie girls, they can challenge me if they like."
The Chris Baker Show airs on Minneapolis' 100.3 KTLK-FM, owned by Clear Channel Communications.

I believe they did "challenge" him, by posting the item in the first place. What does he expect them to do, come to the station and throw a soccer ball at his face?
Obviously he's prepared for such a threat, though.

This new "tag, you're it" game MMFA is now engaged in playing with local radio jocks is absolutely entertaining as all get out.
I do not think MMFA is engaged in any game. Talk radio is is the scum of America and they are pointing it out.
Regulation like what is being done on Wall Street is needed on the air waves too.
I will give you one example. Here is Boston, there are 2 FM and 1 AM station where all you hear is talk. NPR, 96.9 on FM dial and 680 on AM dial.
Some NPR shows take in callers but most of them just present their shows.
On the other hand, all the remaining two staions do is host Republicans (Republican is such a dirty word these days to Republicans themselves so they claim to be Independents, Conservatives, Libertarians, even Democrats like a McPhee) and all they do is spew hatred (IMO, towards anyone not 'like' them). They insult/deride/smear anyone they do not agree with, while they make their case on topic in hand.
People call in. 8 out of 10 times, callers agree with the host. Other two times, host makes comments similar to noted on this article. The host has screeners, I do not know their job definition (may be filter drunkards, cursers), but I think their practical job is to only allow the agreers through.

Then, if that's true, why don't they have subject threads about Randi Rodes or Rachel Madow? They do the exact same thing as any right wing show. I've never heard of Baker and I agree with his 'kiss my buttocks' statement. Mmfa does, in fact, hide like sissy girls. Have you ever seen one of their representatives show up on tv? How about radio? No? Me neither. They must be sissy commy girls.

So, you complain about right wing radio who "spew hatred" while your calling them "drunkards, cursers". Isn't that a bit hypocritical? Sounds like you would do the exact same thing if you had your own show. What is it you're whining about, again?
Once again - READ THE MISSION STATEMENT, MORON! MMFA makes no claim of polictial objectivity or balance. They point out when conservatives lie, or when lies are passed on by unwitting independants that forward the conservative agenda. Period.
And it's not about disagreeing with thier position or even their tone (which is about all you've got against Maddow and Rhodes). It's about their using LIES and MISINFORMTAION and STEREOTYPES and PROPAGANDA that's been proven to be DEMONSTRABLY, FACTUALLY FALSE to make thier point. If you don't like MMFA exposing the truth, maybe you guys should stop telling lies, and stop tuning in to the liars that tell them.

I don't see it as a game, Tomme. Conservative misinformation is still misinformation - whether it's put out there by a nationally-syndicated liar like Jeff Christie or Sean Insanity, or a local jerk such as this clown.

Truth is these types of threads are here for one reason and one reason only. Not to expose them, but so the posters here can tee off and let 'em have it. A little smack around a little bit, for good measure, stress relief and sport. At least be honest about that, as there is no other reason for it.
