Liddy: Obama concentration camp will serve "ham hocks and turnip greens"
On the November 4 broadcast of his nationally syndicated radio program, G. Gordon Liddy spoke to a caller who stated: "I'm ready to go to the concentration camp, that [Sen. Barack] Obama's police force -- he will round me up. Because I -- I'm a white American." Liddy then said, "Well, listen to this," and aired an edited clip of Obama saying in a July 2 speech in Colorado Springs: "We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded." Liddy then stated: "Shades of the Gestapo. The Geheime Staatspolizei," to which the caller replied: "How's the cooking going to be? What will -- what will they serve, at the camp?" Liddy responded: "Well, I think, probably, there'll be ham hocks and turnip greens."
In fact, Obama's comments about the necessity of a "civilian national security force" referred not to creating a national police force, but to expanding AmeriCorps and other programs. From Obama's July 2 speech in Colorado Springs, Colorado:
Today, AmeriCorps -- our nation's network of local, state, and national service programs -- has 75,000 slots. And I know firsthand the quality of these programs. My wife, Michelle, once left her job at a law firm and at City Hall to be a founding director of an AmeriCorps program in Chicago that trains young people for careers in public service. And these programs invest Americans in their communities and their country. They tap America's greatest resource -- our citizens.
And that's why as president, I will expand AmeriCorps to 250,000 slots and make that increased service a vehicle to meet national goals like providing health care and education, saving our planet and restoring our standing in the world, so that citizens see their efforts connected to a common purpose. People of all ages, stations, and skills will be asked to serve. Because when it comes to the challenges we face, the American people are not the problem -- they are the answer.
So we are going to send -- we're going to send more college graduates to teach and mentor our young people. We'll call on Americans to join an Energy Corps to conduct renewable energy and environmental cleanup projects in their neighborhoods all across the country. We will enlist our veterans to find jobs and support for other vets, to be there for our military families. And we're going to grow our Foreign Service, open consulates that have been shuttered, and double the size of the Peace Corps by 2011 to renew our diplomacy.
We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.
From the November 4 broadcast of Radio America's The G. Gordon Liddy Show:
LIDDY: Rich, you are on air.
CALLER: Well, Mr. Liddy, thank you for your arresting of Dr. [Timothy] Leary, when the LSD raid -- I appreciate that very much. And I -- I'm ready to go to the concentration camp, that Obama's police force -- he will round me up.
LIDDY: Well --
CALLER: Because I -- I'm a white American.
LIDDY: Well, listen to this, Rich.
OBAMA [audio clip]: We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.
CALLER: Mr. Liddy, how -- how's the cooking -- how's the cooking -- are they gonna feed us?
LIDDY: Shades of the Gestapo. The Geheime Staatspolizei.
CALLER: How's the cooking going to be? What will -- what will they serve, at the camp? I'm ready to go. Then they'll alleviate my debt that I have. They'll -- they'll put me in a concentration camp.
LIDDY: Well, I think, probably, there'll be ham hocks and turnip greens.
CALLER: Mr. Liddy, God bless you. You're great. I love you very much. Take it easy, Mr. Liddy.
LIDDY: Thank you, Rich.
CALLER: Bye.
LIDDY: Bye-bye.

Media Matters: The Palin chronicles
The Friday Rush: A series of conflicts
Contrary to media hype, Sarah Palin is very unpopular

there'll be ham hocks and turnip greens.
Sounds good.
What.... no watermelon?
Those were my EXACT 3 words when I saw the election results last night. I hope to God I am wrong, but this Obama creep scares the hell outta me. I'm all for a black and/or women president, but this just is not the guy. I want nothing more than to be 100% wrong. Time will tell.
I want nothing more than to be 100% wrong.
Congratulations. I've read your posts here, and it was such an easy goal for you. You are, indeed, 100% wrong.
We'll see. You people even have to be jerks in victory. I just said that I hope I am wrong. I want waht we should all want - the best for this great country. I honestly believe this guy is no good. If he proves me wrong, I couldn't be happier.
You people? Easy has observed your prior posts, and sad to say, you've set the tone for disrespect. There is nothing, NOTHING in Obama's life to justify your fears. And as always, Obama gave a speech that was gracious to all Americans. He's a class act.
I honestly believe this guy is no good.
Have you forgotten what is the specific job duty for the president? It's to uphold and defend the consitution. Who better to do that than a former CONSTITUTIONAL PROFESSOR.
Have you forgotten what is the specific job duty for the president? It's to uphold and defend the consitution. Who better to do that than a former CONSTITUTIONAL PROFESSOR.
Much better than the squatter we have now - a substance abuser, a failed oilman who couldn't find oil in Texas, a baseball club owner who traded away Sammy Sosa, and an imbecilic hothead who referred to the Constitution as a "goddamned piece of paper".
I honestly believe this guy is no good.
Obama, the son of an immigrant, born into poverty, climbes to the highest office in the land and he's no good. But Bush, the son of a wealthy well-placed aristocrat, born into opulance, is appointed president by the SCOTUS and he's, what? totally OK in your book?
Your judgment isn't flawed. It's nonexistent.
Randy
Well put fantagor. Damn well.
You people even have to be jerks in victory.
Well, what have we here? Yet ANOTHER conservative who probably posts some of the most vile stuff imaginable on right-wing cybersewer web sites, coming here and trying to tell us liberals how we should behave.
I've got two words for you, jsmestu - "Bite Me".
After 8 years of bush and his criminal henchmen, Obama has one hell of a job to do cleaning up the mess. What a sigh of relief!! After bush got 100% of the black vote in 99 (c. thomas) America is on the right track. Remember, crow is very difficult to eat so go ahead and express yourself. Conservitism is a failed idiology. It is juxtaposed to progress and progress is what is needed. I realize this is a very simplistic statement. You will see. I was right about bush in 2000 and I will prove correct now. Obama will go down a a great President. bush will go down as the worst president of all time. 5000 years from now when an intelligent life form anywhere in the universe screws up, it will be known as a "bush". Regretfully, bush is an individual that should be selling peanuts at a baseball game. The only book in his library will be a copy of "My pet Goat". After the White house is disinfected, Obama and family can move in. If I hear about bush one time over the next 35 years it will be one time too many. Good riddance to one sorry POS.
You can come out from under the bed now.... there is no boogy man. We've survived 8 years of the worst president in history (just barely).... I think we'll survive this.
Besides, if things go badly, you can vote for Simple Sarah in 2012.... that's the great thing about our country.
ANOTHER jerk! Amazing! Forget working together, huh? You don't want anything but to be able to put down anyone that may not agree with you. What on Earth would you do if everyone started agreeing with you - slam them for that? Geesh!
I'm just returning the magnanimous behavior exhibited by your party in 2000 and 2004. You don't like it? Neither did I.
I should be better than that, I know, but I can't help but feel a little schadenfreude after the putrid, condescending, dishonest barrage of crap that Republicans have dumped on our heads since the election of President Numbnuts.
Fortunately, I'm not in charge. That scary black guy that we elected last night is probably going to extend a hand to your side..... will you bite it?
Well - if he does a good job, I'll gladly accept his hand - and give it all I have.
That's good to hear. I'll try to dial down my jerkiness when that happens.
Take heart, jsmestu, Obama told the country that he understands the challenge he has in earning respect of those from whom he couldn't earn their vote. He hears your voice, especially when you disagree and he will be your president, too.
I understand such inclusive language is hard to accept in our uncivil political landscape, but Obama is going to do his best for all of us.
However, you'll need to make some concessions as well. Last night was an overwhelming repudiation of conservatism. If it ever was, the country is no longer center right.
We are a progressive nation thirsting for progressive solutions. You may not like those solutions, but history shows us we cannot be static and rigid in our thinking, we must inevitably progress and change to overcome our challenges.
We can't do it divided.
"an overwhelming repudiation of conservatism"
Not according to Limbaugh. He assured us today that McCain lost because he wasn't conservative ENOUGH. We all know that's bullsh*t, but the sad point is that a certain element of the Republican Party has no interest in bipartisanship.
They will dig in their heels and oppose Obama on every proposal, even before they know what it is. In that respect, they are similar to the extremist elements in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict; they don't want peace because it would leave them without a purpose.
They will dig in their heels and oppose Obama on every proposal, even before they know what it is.
And in the mid-term elections in 2010, the Republicans will lose even more seats in Congress.
They'll lose only if we can get the Dems to get in front of the people, stop playing the innocent bystander in the face of the Republican block and blame game plan and say enough. If they can show the public just exactly who is holding up progress, those right wing rakes will suffer the consequences at the ballot box.

Precisely. And I intend to flood my local paper with letters to the editor every time my thorought useless Congresscritter (Ralph Hall) marches in lock-step witht eh GOP leadership and tries to block important legislation.
Of course.
Despite the fact that in the Republican primaries the old right ideologues were rejected. Tommy Thompson anyone? Tancredo? Giulliani? Those guys were/are bone deep true cultural conservatives and everyone knew they were too extreme to even get close to connecting with the problems irking the people.
We are now a center left country and thanks to the internet, I think Limbaugh is going to start loosing juice as we continue everyday to expose that his worn out rhetorical junk is nothing more than vulgar CorporoMarxist propaganda.
Correct me if I am wrong: The way Obama became president of the Harvard Law review was to reach out and befriend the conservatives. I know that any human being would feel disturbed by the things the right said about him during the campaign but, only a dam fool would spend their time with revenge now. I am quite sure that Obama has not only this country (his country too) in his interest but, to secure a legacy for himself as the first man with African blood. If you have a problem with the "black" in him cheer the "white" in him. I believe Obama is an honerable man and as a progressive (the oposite of the right which are digressive), he is poised to do good things. Keep in mind he has been handed a big pile of BS created by the bush misadministration. I also believe palins newest child could do better than bush. A chimp could have done better as they are not guided by pious sectarian, conservaitive backward thinking. Make no mistake about this: Conservatism is rooted in stinking thinking and is an antiquated unworkable ideology based on superstition, fear and hate. This can be argued but, hard, cold reality has proven this to be true and bush is a shining example. Sadly, this is part of American history now as is the Civil War and slavery. Bush is right up there with them in Our hall of shame. Whats even worse is that mickey c. got even 1 vote. After one of the most shameful campaigns I have seen in 60 years, mickey c. should be banished from public office and palin sould not be even allowed to sell Mary Kay cosmetics. It will take some of us quite awhile to get their "bad taste" out of our mouths.
I hope to God I am wrong, but this Obama creep scares the hell outta me.
What scares the hell out of ME is what they're posting right now in the forums over on Sean Hannity's web site. Thay're talking all-out warfare - conservatives against liberals. And since many of those folks over there have guns, I would not be surprised if someone were to start shooting......
Goofy Gordon, why are you an unrepentant terrorists? And guess what, you should be one of the charter members of any camp.
Tomorrow, Seannie the Sissy is starting his Conservative Underground Movement (C.U.M.)..Good luck with that one Seannie. Maybe you can get people to fund it so you and your cronies can steal that money also.
they are starting a new group called: S.aintly H.oly I.mperical T.ruth
Rush Limbaugh is planning to kick-off his self-protecting "Barack Obama Won't Eliminate Loudmouths" ..B.O.W.E.L. movement. It will run for four (4) years. Rush is determined that his rants and hatred will be in line with the basic. sit down fundamentals of the B.O.W.E.L. movements around the country. Anyone wishing to join the fast forward movement should contact Rush at FlushtheRush@eib.com
Taking bets now.... will Pigboy Limbaugh play therapist for his suicidal sycophants today, or will he be a ranting, whining Screechmonkey? Maybe both?
He belongs to: Truth Under Rush Dogma And: Society To End Neo Conservative Hypocrisy and this would be the end of limpbahahahahahahaha
You sure thats not I.mperial?
Putting truth and conservative together is an oxymoron and to limpbahaha it is called an oxycontinmoron which by definition is a limpbahaha. limpy is a bologne pony and so is mickey c. and tha tha tha thats all folks!
Tomorrow, Seannie the Sissy is starting his Conservative Underground Movement (C.U.M.)..
Good. I hope Sean and his "great Americans" bury themselves so deep that they're never heard from again.
i prefer to mix collards or kale with mustard or turnip greens. i buy the bag mustards though. they're a pain to clean. the thought behind that statement has to make you wonder. do his listeners think that's going to occur? what happens when it doesn't?
I am indeed willing to bet that a lot of his listeners do believe that this will happen. Even though, the only people talking about rounding people up, have been right wing talk show hosts (I'm looking over towards you Savage), and it hasn't been liberals, or democrats who have been questioning the patriotism of anyone that disagrees with them on, well, anything, it has been conservatives by and large doing that. Heck, just a week or so ago, we had that crazy woman from was it Minnesota, who was calling for the media to investigate Obama and other democratic members of Congress for un-American acts.
Liddy, you're an idiot for certain, and dangerous as well.
Right you are! Where do guys like Liddy go to practice being that stupid? Every far left liberal knows that because Obama is an elite Muslim politician from Chicago he would serve a mixture of turnip, mustard and collard greens with smoked turkey.
That's right. And tomorrow morning I'm going down to that government office and picking up that big tax check the Republicans promised me.
Hey liddy. Hint: Say the next thing you know they will picking watermellons on the front lawn of the White House.
i prefer to mix collards or kale with mustard or turnip greens. i buy the bag mustards though. they're a pain to clean.
The canned stuff is pretty good, too.
actually i've had glory stuff. it's not bad, but i prefer fresh greens. i hate cleaning the mustards though. it seems like you clean them three times with the baking soda in water and you still get that grit.
I prefer the fresh stuff, too - it's just hard to get good-quality greens many times in the year. You know what you're getting when you open a can of Glory's greens - and the bacon the add gives it good flavor......
Fifty bucks that this filthy swine will call for the assassination of federal agents when Obama gets elected. This guy is a worse Fascist than he accuses Obama of.
liddy is a burnout. He was just a fizzel and now just a blowheart. I sort of liked the guy at one time. He just drank too much right wing coolaid and it melted his frontal lobes. He will keep his pie hole a flappin but only hot air will come out
Where do they get these "facts"?
I don't remember Liddy being in law enforcement, unless you count when he was in custody.
Liddy didn't arrest Timothy Leary. He and Leary toured the country together debating.
Liddy is a former FBI agent, and he did arrest Leary back in the 60's. Couldn't make it stick though. This was the basis for their traveling clown show.
Liddy is also a traitor, who used is authority and his Nixonian political connections to attempt to undermine the Constitution as one of the Plumbers busted in the Watergate scandal.
His childhood idol, by the way, was Adolf Hitler, the rat-eating little bastard.
wanna read a book that will make you hurl chunks? Get the book "Inside Hitlers Mind"/ I gave it to a friend of mine to read and he said he never wanted to read anything about Hitler again! Ava used to deficate on him. Sort of like bush did to America! I must say, liddy had a TV show back in the late 60's or eary 70's (I seem to rmember. I could be wrong. I used to see him all the time on TV). He was very entertaining however. I have named my TP holder after him and my comode is called bush. Was hoping S.F. would name the treatment plant after him.
Food for thought: "Tradition is a game for fools" I love that quote. Hey Mescal, hows your cactus hangin?
Where do they get these "facts"?
I found the following on Liddy's Wikipedia page:
Liddy was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, to Sylvester James Liddy and Maria Abbaticchio; his maternal grandfather was of Italian descent. Liddy was raised in Hoboken, New Jersey and West Caldwell, New Jersey. He was named for George Gordon Battle, a New York City attorney who had mentored Liddy's father.
Gordon Liddy spent grades 1 through 3 at the Academy of the Sacred Heart. He was enrolled in the fourth grade at SS. Peter and Paul parochial school. He was enrolled in St. Aloysius parochial school where he entered the sixth grade in September 1941. In 1944 Liddy graduated from St. Aloysius parochial grammar school. In September 1944 Gordon Liddy entered St. Benedict`s in Newark, New Jersey. He graduated from St. Benedict`s in June 1948, at seventeen. He was educated at Fordham University.
Liddy has said that, as a child, he grew up in a German-American community that included many admirers of Adolf Hitler, and that listening to Hitler's speeches "made me feel a strength inside I had never known before." As an adult, however, he came to condemn Nazism and Hitler as "evil."
He graduated in 1952 and joined the United States Army, serving for two years as an artillery officer at the time of the Korean War, but did not leave the US due to an injury. He returned home in 1954 to study law at Fordham, earning a spot on the Law Review. Graduating in 1957, he went to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) under J. Edgar Hoover, but his work at the agency prompted a supervisor to describe him as "a wild man" and a "superklutz". At age 29, Liddy became the youngest Bureau Supervisor at FBI national headquarters in Washington, D.C., earning multiple commendations from J. Edgar Hoover. He left the FBI in 1962 to practice International Law in Manhattan.
Liddy worked as a lawyer in New York City and a prosecutor in Dutchess County, New York. In 1966, he organized the arrest and unsuccessful trial of Timothy Leary. As an assistant district attorney, he fired a gun into the courtroom ceiling during jury summation. He ran unsuccessfully for the post of District Attorney and then for the United States House of Representatives in 1968, but used his political profile to run the presidential campaign of Richard Nixon in the 28th district of New York.

And the parade of the ugly racist pricks gets under way in earnest ...
Damn, it's going to be fun to listen to these asshats whine for the next four years ....
you doin't have to listen to them. I am sure the companies that support his rants will notice
Wolf:
Oh, I know I don't have to listen to them. But it's going to be fun for sheer entertainment value, at least for awhile.
I'm especially looking forward to Insanity and Flush tomorrow .. :)
2 words: Fraudulent voters
Yeah, right. Waaaaaah!
You tear me up
2 words: Fraudulent voters
Hannity and Limbaugh are fraudulent voters? Wow. I didn't know that.
Hannity and Limbaugh are fraudulent voters? Wow. I didn't know that.
We already knew about Ann The Man Coulter's voter fraud.
All the righties were making such a fuss about Mickey Mouse getting registered to vote that they forgot one very important thing: in order to USE that voter registration, someone would have to get a photo ID (such as a driver's license) in the name of Mickey Mouse and presnet it at a polling place. What are the chances of someone doing THAT???
Cording to on of the MMfa editorialists, two people in Florida actually are named Micky Mouse and hopefully both voted.
If the two still have a job. From now on, their rantys are going to be directed at obstructing the Commander-in-Chief, whom they ostensibly revere. This is gonna be fun.
I assume this guy'll be among the first to find out now that Obama's won the presidency?
And that whole segment made me laugh.
Let's see if they take the advice they so delighted in delivering to the rest of us eight years ago:
GET OVER IT.
Let's just say I'll take comfort in the fact that I voted for the losing candidate even though I liked neither one. In fact, I think it worked out better for me that way.
The Republican party probably deserved a lot worse, though. Now we'll see if the Democrat party can continue to build upon what they started in 2006 (whatever that was...)
There's no such thing as "the Democrat party", so I can only assume that this supposition is happening in your head.
Don't worry! We have at a minimum until 2013 to fix everything Bush/Cheney screwed up. That should make you feel better....
this was meant for the wussy.
Now we'll see if the Democrat party...
Democratic. Demo-cratic.
Why do you guys keep doing that?
1. It's fun
2. A "Republican" belongs to the "Republican party". Thus, a "Democrat" belongs to the "Democrat party"
DAWUSS, today is not the day for minor arguements with anyone..but if you want it your way, how about the All-Knowing, All-Seeing, All-Powerful Democrat Party elected by a mandate of the American people led by President elect Obama.
O'Reilly is on Fox right now with the Daily Dummies and he still gets his shots in..They just brought up Franken and Billy O' can't help himself.
1. It's what Rush Limbaugh programmed him to say.
2. The Republicans started doing this as a way to dig at Democrats; it was only one of their many "magnanimous" gestures after winning control of the entire government in 2000.
I simply hope that the Democrats show a little more class with their newly won power than the Republicans did.
A "Republican" belongs to the "Republican party". Thus, a "Democrat" belongs to the "Democrat party"
You're wrong. A "Democrat" belongs to the "Democratic Party". "A$$holes" belong to the "Republican Party".
We can only assume that Republicans have reading problems. OR they are simply too silly and stupid to understand the official name of the Obama party, ie DemocratIC. And who cares what some oaf like Liddy says about anything. I mean this is the guy who could NOT even manage a two bit theft job in either Watergate or the psychiatrists office. Remember, Liddy served four and a half years in prison in connection with his conviction for his role in the Watergate break-in and the break-in at the office of the psychiatrist of Daniel Ellsberg. Sooooo blab away, Liddy. You never have made any sense and particularly now when the entire country looks forward to the new Obama administration. If you do one or two things successfully, you will be one or two jumps ahead of the entire Bush administration. I sort of feel sorry for Republicans but to listen to them requires far more compassion than I can squeeze out of myself. "God bless Obama and his wonderful new administration" is my only answer to this goof.
Oh, and here's a preliminary sampling from our knuckle-dragging brethren at freerepublic.com:
It's happened. Not a shot was fired. Red Dawn is upon us. Resistance...Underground....civil disobedience...
Fire a Liberal — it'll make you feel better... I for one intend to do it tomorrow... NY is a right to Work State, I can fire anyone i want for any reason or for no reason (as long as it isn't racial or gender discrimination)... Their are a handful of spoiled self-righteous twenty-somethings who work for me... they have no idea what my politics are and have shamelessly worked on Obama stuff at the office... like all narcissist's, they assume everyone thinks like they do... tomorrow two of them will learn the hard way that they were wrong... Here...
In an historic event today, the United States elected its first illegitimate President. The President-elect, whose parents were never legally married (and whose father abandoned the poor strumpet and her child when his son was only an infant), sets a glorious example to the youth of the world. Shack-up, cohabitate, whatever – it does not matter. Any children you produce, no matter whether you are married or not, can now dream of becoming President. The stigma is now eradicated. All those women who once hid behind a scarlet letter can now proclaim that their marital status – or lack thereof –...
Let us all rejoice that we are not these people ... they are truly scary ....
Has Jerome Corsi given any interviews yet?
Not yet ... but they haven't finished checking all the rocks or swamps ...
Hi, SGDave, I was thinking of taking a trip to Freepertown, thanks for that.
Is the message that if your parents weren't perfect, you shouldn't strive to be better? Keywords "Sins of the Father". Work on it, Wingnuts.
I coldn't agree more, Col. I needed a shower after visiting that particfular dark little corner of the Internets. These people are truly beyond contempt.
They have no message ... other than hate, fear, and division, which the country overwhelmingly rejected tonight.
At least now they can cower in their little dark corner and not be running the country.
BTW ... i figured it wouldn't take them long to go to the Red Dawn card. That particular bad piece of filmmaking is soft-core porn to the wingnuts...
I concur on your Red Dawn assessment. This is a wet dream for some of these throwbacks. They'll crawl into their Cold War bomb shelters, clinging to their guns and religion as they survive on beef jerky and Beenie Weenies.
Here's a sample from Redstate.com. Whiny widdle babies!
Point one: There's no need to start pointing fingers within the party. This election was on style, not substance. No faction's to blame, and no policy is at fault. We know this because Obama won. He ran on no ideas at all.
We all went into this together with the wrong idea. We just need to learn how to win again, rather than try to pin the loss on somebody. No, I don't even blame John McCain and the mavericks like him.
Point two: This isn't the end of America. Our values are more resilient than Obama is strong. Our civil institutions are stronger than Obama is socalist. Our nation is greater than any one man, including the President. We will endure anything that happens under his Presidency.
I welcome the Cons to continue to draw the wrong conclusions from this resounding victory. I hope they apply their failed strategy to the 2012 race.
There will be a tug-of-war between the Simple Sarah Troglodyte wing and the Fiscal Conservative Country Club types. Since they have the advantage of numbers, I fear that the Troglodytes will win. They will conclude that McCain lost because he wasn't conservative enough.
Sore looser. Ol' bald n buttfudge is just mad because his party is serving a nice heaping dish of crow tonight. Hey Liddy, like that landslide mandate you just got served? All three houses baby!
Snoopy, I apologize for my lack of confidence in the American people. You called this right, I was strapped into my underestimating of "Real America".
Of course, I'm listening to a caller to CSPAN right now who has made a call to the FBI regarding Obama's birth certificate, so the wingnuts are go!
Hey, no sweat col. I knew all along the wave was there. I said it months ago - you can't insult all hispanics, all blacks, all women, all soldiers, and all liberals and expect to get them to even consider voting for you. Not once did McBush even try to tell the voters what his platform was. His last month of commercials were 100% negative attack ads. They ran a moron who actually thought being a POW was sufficient to lead that picked the world's 2nd stupidest women in the world thinking putting a pair of tits on the ballot was more than enough to sway independant females and they got pwn'd. Big time.
Of course, I'm listening to a caller to CSPAN right now who has made a call to the FBI regarding Obama's birth certificate, so the wingnuts are go!
Those guys on C-SPAN like Pedro, they must send them to a special school to learn how to keep a straight face the way they do.
And a new wingnut cottage industry is born. See? Obama's not in office yet, and he's already creating jobs!
Carlile, I love the CSPAN call-in segments. The hosts listen just as patiently to the complete nuts as they do to the reasonable comments. One recent favorite was an old geezer from Texas. He "knows a guy" who had already voted for Obama twice, and was heading down for a third vote. The host calmly suggested he notify election authorities.
Yeah, we know you're an authoritarian prick, Liddy. Instead of a civilian national security force, you'd rather have private armies at the beck and call of elites.
This thoughtful exchange between fringe nut cases perfectly illustrates the mind-set of the fringe right. Most don't actually put it on display like these two did but its there.
This is a conversation the occurs with Limbaugh, Hannity and the rest of the extra chromosome crowd daily. A call in nut on Glenn Beck said in all seriousness that rioting was sure to happen regardless of the outcome. Beck, naturally did nothing to dissuade this misguided woman from her nutty views - shades of I don't trust Obama becasue he's an Arab.
The fringe right is alive and well (Thanks Gordo!) and are more helpful to Democrats than they will ever know. And I don't know which is more creepy, the caller or the host.
Well, this is what happens when you run a campaign based on fear. When you lose, your supporters get hysterical. McCain and the Troglodytes running his campaign bear much responsibility for this, but most of it falls to the scumbags who populate Right Wing Talk Radio.
My daughter was at a friend's house last night, and she sent us a text message that her friend was in tears because her daddy was going to lose his job if Obama won.
These poor, pathetic, ignorant people.
My daughter was at a friend's house last night, and she sent us a text message that her friend was in tears because her daddy was going to lose his job if Obama won.
I was listening to M. Rotten Levin yesterday. One woman phoned in to say that she and her husband (who's a physician) voted for McCain. And that as part of her husband's medical practice they run a small medical billing office. She told all her employees that they had to vote for McCain because they would be forced to close the billing office if Obama won.
There's a lot of senseless fear out there, thanks to the righties.
I would imagine that there will be more people losing jobs over the next few months, but it won't be due to anything Obama has done. I heard one economist say that the next crash is coming in the commercial real estate market. According to him, a lot of those little strip malls that are sprouting everywhere will be sitting empty.
One fear I have is that there will be a number of Rich Republican buttholes who will fire employees and close their businesses out of spite or fear.
Liddy is a sad old bigoted ex-con.
He will fade into obscurity, spewing his filth along the way.
I wonder if that was a legit call or a plant? It sounded kind of scripted.

Liddy is insane. but you dont use a term lik "civilian national security force" without people who remember history getting nervous
I'm Anglo-Saxon and I think ham hocks and turnip greens are tasty and delicious. I like to add a little rice, too. The greens are great for constipation. Liddy should try them sometime. Might just blow him out, unplug that tight rump of his so he can do-do real good. I bet he hasn't taken a bowel movement since Watergate.
Spiteful Commentary like this and the hate filled post election comments being made by the other nationally syndicated Ultra Reich wing pundits like Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, Levin and others is disgraceful and only serves to keep our country as divided as it can possibly be.
When I hear this drivel being spewed by these brain-stem Korporate lackeys it reminds me that maybe it's time to bring back the fairness doctrine......it's enough already!
Liddy thenstated: "Shades of the Gestapo. The Geheime Staatspolizei,"
Strong words coming from a man who supports rounding up people because of the color of their skin or their religion. Interesting how one President in 44 is black and Liddy is suddenly terrified the 20% minority will somehow overcome the 80% majority. Just wait till a woman is elected President, what do you think he will be scared of then?
