i love michael savage, although full 'o crap and an egomaniac, he says things many, many people believe. we do not all love or embrace homosexuality..and i'm not a "'phobe either...my bro in law is "gay" (but not happy, hmmm). many of my patients are and as are several friends...male and female (almost all with depression and/or anxiety...seem miserable trying to get their next sex fix). intolerance/nonacceptance is a right just as is tolerance. we have a right to not follow the minority (not racial) and/or special interests groups just because of hurt feelings, etc. people are babies. "i have a big nose so i should get the job", "i don't know where to put my sexual organ, give me a job." i don't get points for heterosexualism, so neither should a homosexual. it's not just sexual orientation either...you guys hate anything Christian as well. any one who speaks ill of any religion other than Christianity is labeled a hater, what about us? you dole out tolerance inequitably. i'm no zealot, just the only member of the logic party, it seems. oh yeah, socialist/marxist friends o' obama...one is known by the company one keeps. and global warming is a hoax!! way too small of a sample size!! 150yrs out of 3-5 billion?! makes me chortle and then it makes me angry...people are like leemings...media bias is way left. life operates on a bell-shaped curve...only the fringe elements are catered to. a vast majority of people are in the middle of the curve. go kiss sean penn and participate in global governance with he and richard gere, al gorelione, mealy mouth barney frank, etc. what a crock.. why do you guys hate america?
Jimmy -- I think you missed the point of the post. Savage was saying something that was patently not true and was ludicrous -- that men are gay because they are afraid of woman. If you are right-handed, doing things with your left hand does not feel right. You are genetically predisposed to using your right hand.
And in case you fail to register how that analogy applies -- gay men might be able to sleep with women, but it would not feel right -- just as you sleeping with a man probably gives you the creeps. Try writing with your less dominant hand (that means the one you don't usually write with) and see if that does not feel strange to you.
Now how we handle the gay minority in this country as related to civil rights and equality, well that is a totally separate issue, but from your post, it is apparent that you are totally against your brother-in-law feeling like a normal person and would prefer that laws not protect him or to apply to him like they do you. No wonder the man is depressed.
i'm no zealot, just the only member of the logic party
After reading your rant of a post, I have to doubt your logic let alone your sanity.
As far as Gay men being afraid of women, I have best friends who are women, as do most Gay men that I know. AND these women also consider me a best friend. Some have told me that they don't have to put up with the B.S. that straight men have to swagger in order to keep their manliness, when it is the furthest thing from women's minds.
I'm not afraid of women. As a matter of fact, I preferred working for and with women. They were willing to listen, consider and compromise for the best decision to get things done right. The men I worked for thought that their ways were the only acceptable ways.
With women, things get done, and done well. With men, things get convoluted and egos get in the way. The job, simply, doesn't get done well. Just look at the state of the soon to be history administration. I haven't seen any women in the news getting caught for doing things like Madoff or Schlozman or Paulson, nor do I see any gay men either.
I've always thought that if there is a god, it had to be a man. A woman wouldn't have f***** things up as bad as they are. AND I wouldn't have to be afraid of men.
i kind of wondered exactly how it was that "dr." savage came by this knowledge? perhaps something he'd like to share with the rest of the class?
jimmy, a couple of comments on your, um......................post.:
1. learn to use paragraphs. be good to them, and they'll be good to you, really.
2. learn to spell, or use a dictionary. one shouldn't require a translator to figure out what you mean.
3. try putting together a cogent argument. rants, while they might make you feel better, usually look stupid to everyone else.
ok, ok, it was more than a couple! sue me already!
The only guy on the radio who seems to know more about the Homosexual lifestyle is John Gibson.
Funny how all these "obviously" straight guys are experts on Homosexuality, isn't it? I don't listen to Savage, but I do tune in to Gibson now and then, and it's amazing how frequently he manages to throw some innuendo into his comments, regardless of the topic. And then proceeds to giggle like a schoolgir---err, boy. Case in point: Gibson never, EVER blames Barney Frank for the economic crisis without reminding his audience of Frank's sexual orientation, with his snivelling toady Angry Rich joining in on the "fun."
Me thinks the man doth protest too much.
The Silly Savage tells us men become gay because they are afraid of women? He should certainly know.
There isn't a person on national radio who hates women more than "Dr." Savage. Try to listen to him for just a few minute and he is sure to bash a powerful woman. He can not stand it if women are treated as the equals of men.
I'd be willing to bet Savage has never kissed a girl.
There is no reaason to be sloppy with your thinking.

He has been married twice and has children. But I vote with the first poster. Such constant vitriol against gays is sometimes seen as the symptoms of a tormented soul with repressed tendencies. Or maybe that's a myth (in spite of famous examples in politics).
There is no reaason to be sloppy with your thinking.
But what reason can I offer for sloppy spelling? Going blind? Third time in three posts. Not good.
Hmm, that kinda sounds like you Savage. Afraid of woman, so to make yourself feel better you bash them....
