I propose a "facepalm" icon that we can press instead of replying to this.
Of course FOX refrained from covering this story:
DENVER -- A heated election day with a spectacular sunset Tuesday gave way to record heat across eastern Colorado on Wednesday. Denver set an all-time November high of 80 degrees at 1:23 pm.
Other locations with new record highs for the date include Pueblo at 85 degrees, which also set a new all-time record high. Colorado Springs reached 78 degrees Wednesday afternoon, tying the November all-time high temperature.
On Tuesday 7NEWS Chief Meteorologist and his forecast team called the potential all-time record high, forecasting 80 degrees for Wednesday.
Well, to be fair (not that I expect Fox News to be), they*do* say they'll provide "some answers next" -- I would have liked to know what those were.
I think it's a little disingenuous to focus solely on the lead-in. How did they follow it up?
I'm guessing they didn't come back and say, "Everything we said before, the tease, the caption, the silly song, was completely wrong and here's why..."
I sent an email to FoxNoise asking them to report back to their listeners/zombies in a couple months if and assuming the cold and snow is still on the ground... at least then they will have some 'proof' about global warming being in our minds... sorta like the financial disaster...
I figure to be ignored of course...
If Fox News asked longer, more helpful on-screen questions:
BREAKING: Has habitat destruction and climate change disrupted migratory patterns for birds, such as the ones that took down US Airways Flight 1549 on a Jan. 15th?
