      Of course it is ... When you are drinking the conservative Kool-Aid, anything other than large tax cuts for biz & the wealthy is socialism. You mean you didn't know that already?? Besides, that philosophy has worked sooooo well the past 8 years, we certainly need to accelerate that economic philosophy, don't we?

      How come when "regular" folks are the ones to benefit from what our government does that's socialism and communism? But when a small percentage of our population benefits from something our government does, somehow that's patriotic and very American?

      Case in point. I was listening to some right wing talk show host today talking about how if we end up having a one payer medical system in this country it will be un-American and, yes, socialist. Good lord! I never thought making sure every American has adequate health care was really a bad thing. Does anyone else?
