"today, on the View, fat poor people who buy cigarettes and lottery tickets respond to hateful smear merchants. Joy Behar will spearhead a support group aimed at protecting fat welfare recipients who smoke and gamble with the message, "It's my welfare and I can do what I want with it". Citing all of the other government projects Obama will propose to pick up the slack when welfare checks aren't enough, the view "ladies" intend to fight this kind of character assasination. Whoopi went on to say, "Fat poor people who smoke and risk their welfare on gambling are people just like you and me and need to be protected."
