You already have the T-Shirts out there...
But no, I don't think they want a revolution, they want a Civil War - this one being about conservatism vs. liberalism and which force dominates the country. Us moderates will be caught in the middle...
Can't tell the difference between prediction and inciting? typical liberal response. And I see that MMFA didn't wait even a hlaf hour to post this after it was aired.. what do you do? sit there with bated breath watching FNC to jump at the first chance you get? Fearful you'll miss a chance to shoot a zinger? Worried that O'Reilly has your number and is gonna expose you? Sounds like paranoia to me.
Let's be a little more sensible and just take out Beck and Oreily...so there will be less annoying noise while we work our butts off trying to save the country and everything else we love.
Wow!
Do people actually watch this garbage?
Beck was salivating to chomp on the feces that poured from O'Reilly's mouth. Welcome to corporate media Mr. and Mrs. America.
This is the new conservative America.
The Waste Land.
obviously MMFA watches it, so if it's garbage as you say, they're the dumpster divers.
That's what I wish for the media. For their audience to be nothing more than their family and media watchdog organizations.
When Bill O'Reilly comes across as the sensible one in a conversation, you know the other guy is a nutball.
I used to think Beck made some sense sometimes before, but I guess being on CNNHN reigned in his worst idiocy. Now he's just letting his freak flag fly.
It seems to me there was a revolution back in November.
As for a Depression, a lot of people would say we're in one already
You know, the ones that have to get a job based on talent.

His predictable Chicken Little routine has not only gone from mildly entertaining to embarrassing but worse, he's irresponsible.
He brags about his alleged ratings (You trust him?) but Glenn - people also love to watch train wrecks, mud wrestling and porn. You know, I bet his rating are high.
I don't think anyone disagrees that we're at least on the road to an economic depression. Whether Obama's stimulus works or not is the current debate. If it is ineffective, things will assuredly get worse.
What's unreasonable about saying that things are going to get pretty bad and people are going to get really angry? I personally don't think the American people have it in them to take back their country, but I certainly think there will be civil unrest on the streets of the U.S., at least on par with Iceland and Greece today.
Outside of people saying Beck is crazy (personal attack), what are people disagreeing with?
Wow, so the "great" posters at MM are telling me what I can see in the video! Incredible insights! My point was to try to salvage a discussion, which seems to be quite difficult to do on this website. So let me reassert my position:
What, exactly, do people disagree with from what Beck has said in the video?
What, exactly, do people disagree with from what Beck has said in the video
His conclusions.
This comment makes little sense, if we presuppose that free speech covers everyone, and that the value of free speech trumps any "inherent value of having a crass person" nonsense. Free speech wins, regardless of your ideology.
Anyone else want to try? What do you really disagree with here? Let's try to elevate the conversation. An abstract discussion about how angry the people might get could be worth something. But when Beck says they'll get angry, he means they'll get angry at the democrats, not at the republicans and wall street execs who did all this without punishment, and at the media who cheers them on even after all is obvious.
And in case you're new to the Beck-apocalypse game, he plays it at least twice weekly.
For one thing he is not really saying anything. Who is revolting and why? And wouldn't that emphasize the need for the stimulus? Weren't the right recently saying that Obama was just hyping it? The economy collapsed after years of Republican domination. How does that help Beck and his base?
It helps him because he is distancing himself from the Republican brand, and has done so since John McCain was the Republican presidential candidate. Whether he can be successful with that, or how genuine he is, is up for debate. Just because he's on Fox does not mean that he's a Republican cheerleader like Hannity.
I know that goes against the MM dogma, though he and Hannity both share the same ideology and cable network does not mean that Beck is married to the Republican party in the same way that Hannity or ORLY is. They only differ on points of emphasis.
Who is going to stop you? How about a liberal who sees the one-man riot that Bernie Goldberg incited in a conservative and thinks that is the answer? Let's stop spewing the hate.
WHY IS FOX NEWS SO SHABBY? WHY DO THEY SEEM TO HIRE BASED ON THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR? IF YOU ARE A ALLEGED FELON (MARK FURMAN) OR (OLLIE NORTH) YOU'RE HIRED. Let's see - we've already got a depression, thanks to Bush and Co. And we had the revolution in the last 2 elections.
But if McCain had won the election, I bet Beck would be predicting wealth, prosperity, and happiness for one and all.
If he's talking about those who have been the victims of voodoo economics for the past 30 years he may have a valid point, but I have a feeling he's talking about himself, Billo, Limpbag, et. al.
It's really impossible to figure out what Beck is trying to say, but he ends with "If you disenfranchise people long enough . . ."
His main theme his entire career is the white male backlash. He appeals to successful white men (and some women) who feel they are threatened.
Digital tv has pushed us into the era of ADNIX and IDIOTNIX software sophistication.
Just sample your favorite boob tube bozo's irritating noise, set the popup menue, and you'll never hear or see them again in your virtual tv designer paradise.
I agree with Beck that there will probably be a major depression. And come to think of it, he might be right about the aftermath of such a depression as well.
We've seen all of these out-of-control bubbles burst: the economic meltdowns were caused by the the housing and the sub-prime markets that grew without any control (thanks, CRA, Dems); before that, the dot-com bubble of the late '90's, & c. Any thing that gets out of control and expands beyond reason is subject to a bust.
The same is true of populations of any kind.
There's one more bubble that's not yet burst..our human overpopulation bubble. (Just ask Al Gore, if you can get him to be truthful for a minute: his lifelong problem is with Global Warming, but unmentioned is his misanthropy and his hatred for so many people. Take away a couple thirds of the world's population, and global warming disappears. But he's too crafty to come right out and say that.)
It may not be called a 'revolution', but when it comes, it'll be that final bubble what goes 'bang'.
The revolution, it will not be telegraphed.
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, THE TRUTH IS THE GREATEST ENEMY OF THE STATE." -- Joseph Goebbels, German Minister of Propaganda, 1933-1945
I like Glen Beck. He is being blunt yet true with much of what he is saying. WE, the USA are heading towards a more socialist state then ever before. Once Obama takes pen in hand and signs a bill that NOT ONE congressman or woman took the time to read...we will have turned over the keys to social europe, communist china
We are starting the path down to hell!
Don't destroy the world when you're in power. That way we won't have to pass stimulus bills.
Too many people don;t know what socialism is yet continue to mouth it as some indication they know what they're talking about.
Look up the definition please and then resume your idiocy
The meltdown of the financial sector was caused by the financial sector, particularly large investment banks with the help of ratings agencies that allowed AAA ratings on garbage sold to investors.
They took the profits and repeated it until it blew up and they then had to pay up to others, and when they couldn't because they were over-leveraged, went under
