*Siggggghhh*  Rush is soooooo dreamy!  And he has a fire in the belly!  Who wouldn't love this guy?  On a serious note, I wonder what the producers of this *show* tell their kids what they do for a living?  Are they embarrassed? Sociopaths?  I mean, what gives?!?!

The Republicans are desperately attempting to regain power and convince the country they are a serious party by hoping and praying a President fails. Brilliant strategy. No message, no direction, no plans…let’s just hope the other guy fails. There is your modern Republican Party for ya, you betcha!

Take a bow and stay classy GOP!!!!

Shoes, Can you honestly say that Prez Obama has even been given a chance? To answer your question, most of the Bush "bashers" appeared after he destroyed our status around the world and started a phony war. Honestly. If you recall, following 9/11, he had everyone behind him..These sideshow hucksters attacked Obama from the beginning. And if listen to them, it is because "THEY" don't think anything Prez Obama does will work. I am sure that their mind power is superior to that of those that consult the Prez. Who would you listen to if serious matters were involved? Obama and his advisors or Rush Limbaugh.

I don't remember anyone wishing for Bush to fail.

But after seeing the abject failure in his attempt to find WMDs in Iraq, his failure to gain the support of the iraqi people, his failure to reign in corporate greed and his complete and utter failure in the wake of Hurricane Katrina we wished for him to go away.

Oh wait, you're not, but that's the line you gave us when we disagreed with, you know, Bush, at any point in time. You're a choad Rush, and a complete and utter idiot. You want Obama to fail? That means, we all fail, as in America. He's the President of America, not just the democrats.

Lest we forget. Rushs' network and maybe even Rush was making Public Servies Announcements concerning buying drugs illegally is like supporting terrorists. He also mentioned that anyone using drugs illegally should be sent to prison or England. All the while abusing and purchasing drugs illegally.. But his dittobrains just let it go.

Rush is totally unAmerican unless it is his way. But the man made a HUGH mistake in accepting the apology from the bum in Congress. Rush put himself in a bad position and it will be his downfall. The Right will keep getting hammered if he is allowed to continue his childish rants. If they have any brains, they would attack him.

And, in addition to the hypocrisy regarding his intolerance for drug users - until he became one himself - there was also the non-stop anti-Clinton rhetoric he belched forth on the Armed Forces Radio Network.  Talk about unpatriotic (by the Dittoheads malleable definition, of course)!

Your the unpatriotic American. Have you ever read the Constitution? Do you know anything about the history of this country? Do you realize that there is no end to the War on Terror? It will never be over, because the terrorist will never stop. They have vowed to destroy us, have you forgotten? They have always wanted to ruin our economy to break us down to size. Now with Hussein spending money like it's going out of style, he is giving the terrorists exactly what they want. If you cant see that, you should go move to Gaza with your friends.

What does the Constitution or the history of this country have to do with your point?

So let me get this straight.  Terrorists didn't like it when we invaded Iraq, even though that was a fantastic selling point for the recruitment of new terrorists.  But when we enact a stimulus package to get the economy back on track, that's playing right into the terrorists' hands.

And what's really remarkable to ponder is all the economists that agree with the stimulus who are really just Al Qaeda operatives that have infiltrated our system.  Diabolical, I say, diabolical!

He knows his butt is on the line so he wants to drag everyone else down so when the poop hits him in the face, he can say "We all felt this way."  Rush is the same as a guy here in Pgh. who used to walk around with a sandwhich board sign which read..."Lansberry doesn't get his mail".  There was meaning behind that but not many knew what it meant.

Of course his claim of "all" is possibly exaggerated but I think he was claiming all likeminded conservative republicans.  How else to you explain 98% of all Republicans in Washington voting against the stimulus?  The success of his domestic policies will repudiate all that conservative republicans hold dear in their econmic views.  Tax cuts for the rich creates economic growth.  You would have thought Clinton's economic expansion would have made some impact, especially after where we are today.  I stick by the thought that Limbaugh conservatives want Obama to fail.  They represent 80% of th modern Republican party.

        • Liberals (Jews) control Hollywood
        • Liberals (Jews) don't love America like WE do
        • Liberals (Jews) are really socialists/communists/Marxists et al
        • Liberals (Jews) don't believe in God...well, at least the proper version of God.

Sure, he'll go on how he loves Israel but I've heard him muse why so many Jews are "liberals" and he never (surprisingly) can understand why.

Hell, I once heard him say Nixon was a supporter of Israel so that should end all discussion that Nixon was anti-Semitic.  Listen to tapes much, Rush?

So it really is true. Liberals always try to find racism or discrimination in a person when disagreement surfaces. Mr. Limbaugh has never displayed a shred of anti-semitism, anti-Jew, or anything related to Jews. I find it much more prevalent in my liberal acquaintances. It's so easy to point a finger at somebody and cry prejudice. Eventually, nobody is going to listen.

Few people have ever been more discredited than Rush Limbaugh.  A thrice married childless man who has no problem lecturing on family values.  A drug addict who advocated deportation or life sentences for drug offenders.  Remember all those years when Clinton was in the White House how he predicted econmic doom and gloom.  Then under "W" he said how tax cuts and deregulation would create such a boom.  Do any of these propagandists ever have to be held accountable for anything?

That is an idiotic thing to say and it pegs as little more than an entrenched partisan conservative of the worst kind; one too ashamed to admit you're a Republican. Go ahead and tell us you're an independent, or worse, a libertarian, just know this: Obama is proposing classic progressive/liberal solutions that have been proven to work.

Truth is liberalism has been the engine that has brought about the best our country has to offer while conservatives were dragged along, in opposition to progress, kicking and screaming, like the petulant children they are at heart.

The history is clear as a bell. Liberals brought us pensions, retirements and social security so working folks could retire with dignity. And business still thrived despite the selfish protests of the conservative whackadoos.

Liberals brought consumer safety laws so we could live without fear of being poisoned at the dinner table. And business still thrived despite the gripes of the free marketers.

Liberals brought us the GI Bill that educated a nation of men and women, who would have otherwise never been able to get a college degree. Those men and women took their knowledge forth and laid down the foundations of long term prosperity for all and created the innovations we still enjoy today. And yes business thrived despite conservative calls of socialism.

That's because being a fairly sensible person, you probably gravitate to sensible people. But if you're trying to say that schmed probably isn't a Republican because more Republicans hope the best for Obama, then unfortunately, you're wrong.

It's a shame but most Republicans are more like Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Just look at CPAC today, (literally today) 90% of the Republican presidential field attends it, the best and the brightest of the GOP attend it and Ann Coulter is the big draw.

The right will be the Party of Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter and Palin until sensible folks like you kick them out and take back your Party.

Good luck. You're gonna need it.

                    Interesting.

It might take a couple more electoral whoopings for the mainstream conservative thinkers (the big dogs, Will, Limbaugh, etc.) to rethink their thinking. Right now, they're doubling down on the stupid.

The conservative movement has gotten too big, it has too much inertia. There is a massive conservative cognitive infrastructure of think tanks that have been nurtured for decades by elite interests. It will take a small-thinking grass-roots movement years to take back the central nervous system of conservative thought. That's good news for us and bad news for us. It gives us an opportunity to invite the disillusioned conservatives to join us, but most conservatives are resistant to change. They're resistant to change and suspicious of community organizing tactics, so we have a big job ahead.

Anyway, kudos to your bud. We need more like him/her to speak up.

It doesn't matter that Limbaugh's "all" is incorrect because most Republicans agree with him.

If that ain't so. Kick the trollops out of your Party. Until they're marginalized, don't expect the left not to tie you Republicans inextricably to the likes of Limbaugh, Palin, Joe the Plumber, Hannity, O'Reilly, Coulter, Cunningham, Hewitt, Savage (are you seeing a pattern yet?) and on and on.

I like what you wrote. For far too long the word "Liberal" has been abused by republicans to the point that now it's almost a dirty word. Using terms like "welfare state" to describe social services makes the idea of helping all Americans sound foolish. What is so wrong about expanding Medicare to include every single citizen? It is not communism. It will not bankrupt this country. Simply stop waging war and we could afford anything we want. Rush Limburger screams in terror about being over run by "Socialism" and "Communism" if the Government took over the Federal reserve bank system. God forbid our Government printed our own money. Liberalism is not what the republicans claim it to be. Liberalism is forward thinking and is a good thing. Look up the definition. Rush hates liberals? Rush fills your heads with republican doublespeak.

You know too, what he is saying is so "true" of the Republicans.  But they should be careful because "when" our Country's Economy pick up it may just be during the Obama's Presidency and what will the Republicans/Neo-Conservatives do?  Blame Newt, Mitt, Sarah, Michael, Eric, John, etc. etc. for their "NO" approach while explaining their Conservative principles that did "NOT" work during the Bush years.  What a "mess" these guys are digging themselves into with the "NO" approach with today's troubles.  So sad indeed.

BTW, the Democrats have an AWESOME political video out with the Republicans saying "NO" to the way the Democrats are approahing solutions to our Country's troubles by doing something rather than nothing.  I always thought that doing something was better than doing "NOTHING".  Wink, wink.

Please find the 2000 Presidential Campaign videos where you will see when the questions are raised to former President Bush and former Vice President Gore, and pay special attention to Mr. Bush's answers.  In the videos you will see where former President Bush stated that he, as President if elected, would "NOT" seek to do Nation-Building.  Former President Bush repeated this time after time in his bid to become President in 2000.

More broken promises:  When former President Bush stated at first that the War in Iraq would "END" by June 30, 2003 - he was "WRONG".  He then stated that we, the Country, "ONLY" went to War with Iraq because Sadamm was a threat and had WMD's capabilities.

After "SIX" long years of searching for the WMD's "NOTHING" was found.  To play down this embarrassment the Republicans and former President Bush said that the United States was in War with Terrorists in Iraq and we, Americans, needed to do Nation-Building to get them.  Huh?  We should not have been there in the first place on a lie that led us to Nation-Building - period.

As for Obama, if he does "everything" he said he would during the campaign, then I will vote for him again. If he gives into pressure where he said he wouldn't, I will not.

To wish for Obama to fail is to wish for failure of the U.S.A. right now. Personally, I don't really like Obama because I don't trust him yet. However, after Bush I don't trust *any* politicians anymore. That being said, it doesn't mean I want Obama to fail. He needs to succeed.

Do Republicans have a basic understanding of what government does? For example, why do they think we pay taxes? Taxes aren't for those who wish to line their pockets. Taxes are for services rendered. Services we need to have in order to maintain a civilized society. Where would any of us be without schools, fire and police protection? There is NOBODY who has pulled him or herself up by their own boot straps. SOMEBODY, somewhere handed them a boot! Perhaps a teacher, parent, coach or scout leader.

Ye without sin cast the first stone.  First, the war in Iraq was not even remotely close to the cause of this financial crisis.  This statement shows ignorance of the free market to even say that.  A good war after the depression brought us out of it faster.  The commodities market explodes in war time. The sub-prime loans that poisoned our market was put into motion initially by Jimmy Carter's administration, furthered more by the key blow to us all now, Bill Clinton.  How can a democrat sanely throw rocks at a guy popping pills when their own last embarrassing joke of a democrat President was laying back in the Oval office getting "favors" and blatantly lying to the faces of all the American people?  Even further the example that it caused future generations that saw that as an example of leadership.  This is cut and dry, black and white, not gray.  Obama was not a curve ball.  I got exactly what I expected.  A tax and spend liberal that spends, spends, and spends some more.Government now compounds the crisis by crushing the free market which now affects the retirement of folks that are near retirement age.  The forgotten retirees will be more dependent on the government to get by moving forward. That is a FACT!  Finally, by attacking any conservative, Obamacrats, you are only fueling the fire.  Republicans are alarmed.  Conservatives even more freaked out.  We are organizing right now like I have never seen in my life.  County by county.  This policy and decision making by Obama with yur tax dollars will finally open your eyes to reality that is already well into motion by this Preident.

"Finally, by attacking any conservative, Obamacrats, you are only fueling the fire.  Republicans are alarmed.  Conservatives even more freaked out.  We are organizing right now like I have never seen in my life."

As opposed to what?  Clinton was a centrist and conservatives are still freaking out, as you demonstrate yourself.  You tried to impeach him for lying about sex, for the love of all that's holy.  There was no popular call for it, and there was no legal justification.  All that happened without any Democrat fueling anything.

So don't act as if there's something conditional about the general behavior of the right-wing.  As if Obama were to act a certain way, do specific things, and you guys would be all relaxed and happy.  It's been proven over and over again, especially during the 2008 campaign with all the blather about Marxism, Islam and the theory that Obama was born in Africa, that there is a very strong element of the right-wing that has no interest in objective reality, only in partisan gain.  The likes of Limbaugh hit a high note years ago, and they've pretty much run out of range at this point.  You've got Beck and Hannity pondering scenarios of armed insurrection.  Where do you go from there without getting a visit from the Secret Service?

Obama has public support and so does the stimulus.  During good economic times you can get away with rabid opposition, but not when people's jobs and homes are on the line.  You can have all the tea parties you like, but you're not going to make anyone forget their mortgage is past due, and you're just going to make yourselves look like a bunch of jackasses in the process.  Someone has to do something, and sitting on the sidelines making silly faces and armpit noises isn't it.

Liebuster:  You don't have a clue what you are writing about.  If CRA (the Jimmy Carter legislation you reference) caused the sub-prime debacle, why did it take 30 years to happen?  That's a silly contention.

The Federal government did not mandate sub-prime residential loans - although the regulators (and non-regulators) permitted them to be made.  Federally regulated lenders (Banks and Thrifts) did not make no-doc, neg-am., sub-prime loans.  Those were sold, packaged, and sold internationally and then nationally outside the banking system.

Yes - outside Freddie and Fannie, although towards the end the Agencies did start purchasing that paper.  A very bad decision.

Rush Limbaugh is a drug-addled imbecile who is dangerously close to Inciting-to Riot with his near-treasonous invectives hurled at President Obama, our duely elected Commander and Chief. Were President Obama the kind of apathetic idiot that George Bush was and is, he would have sent his Homeland Security Thugs to silence the lying fraud that Limbaugh is. Luckily Obama is an articulate intelligent man, something we've not had in the White House for 2 generations.  As for Bu$h, the Law isn't through with his sorry A## yet. And look out Dick, your number has popped up too...Can you spell"War Crimes"?

I'm tired of greedy Free-Marketeers not taking responsibility for the "War-under-the-table War" that's drained our Nation's Social Security Trust and hurled the World into Financial chaos. PNAC bears much of the blame for this mess.

I don't think anything said by Limbaugh here is misinformation, unless you get picky with specifics. I'm rather sure that not ALL Republicans want Obama to fail, though I guess it is possible. Seems to me that Limbaugh is essentially telling the truth here.

Wow, there are a lot of folks that are lost without a clue here. The free market/capitalism brings out the absolute best in people charity wise. Why do we need the government to tell me who to hand my money to for help? I was smart enough to make enough to help someone. Why can't I be smart enough to hand it out myself? I did not purchase anything that I could not afford even though I can get approved for ANYTHING else if I wanted to, but I cannot afford the payments. Instead, I am very smart and put away a nest egg for tough times. I am a middle class American, maybe lower middle class even. By standing behind this spendulus and this Presidents policy you are saying it is ok for your neighbor to be irresponsible with their finances and now you are willing to pay THEIR tab. If YOU have so much money, hand it to them people!!!! Show just how Obama-like you can be and fork it on over!!! This is not partisanship. THIS is "time to grow up and flourish or pay for your choices." Instead we throw billions of all of our taxpayer dollars in the gutter for infrastructure. As one senator noted, "The democrats are living in some kind of "Alice In Wonderland" here. They feel that they are giving money that is owed back to the people of America rather than what is actually happening, taking tax dollars out of current and future taxpayer pockets to expand government!!!" Looking at these posts/articles, I feel like I am in the Twilight Zone. Why don't all of these folks stop participating in dividing everyone with misinformation? I can go up and down this site and see obvious misinformation! The hilarious part is that these folks are saying someone ELSE twisted the facts! A riot!

Your behaving as though the gov't is asking you for money for the very first time. Do you think this mess has just occurred in the past 30 days. Were you whining a belly-aching when GWB took a surplus and ran it into the ground? Were you offended when we were pouring untold billions every week in Iraq? Who exactly do you think was in charge for the past eight years? Here's a fact - this is a conservative mess - they got us here.

I think maybe you are in the twilight zone. Come on ditto heads, you've got to put forth a better argument than your old stand by - fear.

Fear? That is what Obama has used now after a year prior to the election when all that he promised was "hope". Any grown man/woman that knows anything and has his facts straight realize that this worthless fear Obama was spouting such as "irreversable damage to our economy" is just THAT, garbage! If he was the man in Russia or China that statement would have some validity to it in a socialist state. Capitalism/a free market economy does not ever suffer "irreversable damage." When there is this much ignorance in your party to believe that statement and this other stuff you're spewing, then it makes sense to throw al of this money at the problem. We spend $12000 per child per year for education where I live and all they want to do is throw more money at the problems. This is not very sharp thinking. A neighbor/Obama supporter nearby me that is a good friend is now in bankruptcy. he bought a new camper, new truck and then the housing market went to Hades and he had to give it all up. He made those purchases with the mindest the market would stay the same. On the other hand, folks like myself invested in our future. We put money away for another day when the economy would not be so hot. I deserve a camper or a truck! I work hard and I like toys, but I could not and can not afford these simple things. I drive an old car. I could probably afford a new one, but with the economy I am taking no chances. Millions of folks took that chance and lost. Now, by your rationale I should be responsible for all of these people because of what Bush did???? I should have more of an open mind to Obama's irresponsible spending like all of these millions of Americans that did the same thing? You guys prove my logic for me! I work in the metals market. This "Buy American" or money for infrastructure will AT BEST be a blip on the screen. There were ways that this money could have been used in SO much more of an effective manner or not at all.

What?! You're disowning GWB? How many times did you vote for him?

Again, who was in charge for the past eight years? Where does the buck stop? Conservatism, particularly Limbaughs brand got us into this mess and you are just wrong headed to think that in 30 days Obama or anyone else can dig us out. It will be a miracle if the mess your party created is cleaned up in a year. You are letting ideology cloud your judgment. I'm actually quite surprised you haven't blamed Bill Clinton.

For the past 20 years at least, the only party that has got it right on economic policy is the Democratic Party. I'm betting Obama succeeds and when he does you'll have to start the fear mongering with the Chinese or radical Islam...take your pick.

I admit, I voted for Bush once and lived to regret it just as you all will by voting for Obama. Let's make one important key point that your info sources fail to metion. Reagan inherited a higher unemployment rate than Obama. Did he do all of this to address the problem? (negative!) Again, the crux of our economic woes is the housing market. The pressure from democrats and democrat housing initiatives put upon lenders to lend to those that could not afford it caused this crisis by their defaults. To reward these folks "greed"(Quote/unquote President Obama) is ludicrous!!! Ideology clouding my judgment? More twilight zone remarks. With all of this in mind, how can you possibly call the democrat choices/direction to be even remotely sound?

Also, according to Rush too, Michael Steele is being hung up on when he makes phone calls to fellow Republicans for fundraisings.  I wonder if Rush's Operation Chaos has internalized?  Too funny indeed.  Wink, wink.

I have read a bunch of the posts on this site now. Seems that those of you who dislike, don't agree or have a democrat stance just fee off of each other with these lil' snide, pompous, and just immature statements. The future of our country is on the line and you look to throw gas on Rush or Bush instead of looking the facts in the face that are right in front of you.

I can make sense of this however. The very folks that support democrats and their spendulus are a reactionary bunch. (Not proactive) This behavour goes hand in hand with their own spending habits. Rather than put a nest egg away for rough times that could possibly occur in the future, they NEED something to gratify them now. The one hilarious school teacher, "I only wanted to keep my home!!!!"(Whaa!) Lady, you make $35000, you should not own a $400,000 home!!!! Your debt/income ratio should have kept you out of that home in the first place. Anyway, they have to HAVE something NOW to bring about happiness. Immediate gratification. Democrats do not enjoy the intangible safety of fighting terrorism, they want bridges, trains, welfare checks, and government to wipe their behinds for them. That's government that you CAN FEEL!

Listening to Sheer Insannity this afternoon (Monday - March 2nd) with poor Mike Huckabee, the spin is that Ole BlunderRush said he wanted President Obama's policies to fail.  Nothing personal.  Just that President Obama is pushing Socialism and they don't want that so of course the Republicans want his policies to fail.

Of course, the only real problem with that contention is that Ole BlunderRush didn't say "policies."  But Sheer Insannity never let facts get in the way of his right-wingnut spin, and he obviously isn't going to start now...
