On Fox about 6:30 pm, whatever program it was, the round table were all in agreement that when the Liberal Media badmouths a Republican/Conservative it only helps strengthen the Con party. WOW, it is about time they realize this. Guess they didn't tell Rush.

Listening to his speech at the CON TROLL meeting, he sounded like Princess Sara Palin by sounding like Roseanne Barr. It was his radio show on steroids. He even mentioned ACORN and hinted that it is a crime what is being done with ACORN. And the sheep in audience just loved it. And his constant use of the term "DemocratParty" was well accepted by all the cons in the audience.

I hope that Prez Obamas' administration does not react to the druggie and continues to run the country. Let the Conservatives start their own party.  To show how confused this party of Cons has become, they had Dick Santorum give a speech and he badmouthed Bush. They even badmouthed Republicans. The great Con game ends this weekend and the carbunkles will once again attached themselves to the sides of the Republican Party to do their dirty work.

Have fun Cons and see you at the voting booths in 2010.

Rush thinks that he has a gift for mimicry. But I don't think he really did Sylvester the Cat full justice here. I noticed in an earlier part of his speech he made fun of liberal/elitist (whatever) intellectuals by sarcastically using a voice that seemed like a parody of William F. Buckley.... Years from now historians will look back in wonder at the "Joe The Plumber Populism" of this era. I noticed that Coulter's poorly delivered speech didn't go over as well with the red meat CPAC crowd as it has in the past.

Also, castrati were honored as superstars in their day-- so I'm not sure what his point is.

The Republicans that understand Rush don't consider that aspect of the castrati. All they think about is getting their testicles removed and how that would hinder their right as aggressive males to assert their dominance.

It's like an irresponsible dude who won't get his dog neutered because that somehow threatens his own masculinity. Meanwhile, his dog is in the neighborhood mating with stray female dogs making litters of unwanted puppies.

Somewhere in there is a parallel that explains the conservative view of abortion.

The worst decision these idiots made was to allow tv cameras.  All they've done is provide a week of comedy gold for us sane people.  And for that, we should all be thankful.

That and the fact that these clowns are on the outside looking in.

Let us not forget Rush's outreach to women, which he mentioned again in his CPAC appearance. I'm sure this Limbaugh chestnut helps in that department:

"Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society. And even to this day, people pooh-poohed this and say it's insensitive: 'How can you possibly say something like that?' Well, because I mean it, because I believe there's something to it."

This is the person that the young, idealistic CPAC audience reveres. Nice.

I'm not even sure what he means by that.

Of course it is silly, but even if true is there some reason why us un-attractive gals have no right to be part of "main-stream society"? I'm confused why he seems to have such a hard time figuring out why women don't like him.

Go go, GOP. You Republicans must be so proud of your Party right now. You guys are so cool, so serious, so full of fresh ideas. Good for you.

Now go run and play while the adults set the table. When you're old enough to behave yourselves, you can have a seat with the and discuss how we can make our house run better.

You know about those punching bags that are shaped like a giant babushka doll? They stand on the ground and just pitch and yaw after you hit them? And then they come back to the same standing position until you hit them again? That is what the conservatives of CPAC remind me of. After being defeated in a crisis of their own making, by a resounding majority, some in formerly Republican states, for the very things that Limbaugh espouses here, instead of asking themselves if they need to re-examine what they stand for, they decide instead to go into complete denial and cling more stubbornly to their discredited philosophy! Limbaugh is a fossil!

Amen.  But they are fewer.  Hopefully Obama will be more FDR, and less Jimmy Carter.  They'll have their "permanent majority" and unlike the republicans, who try only to find new to market the same old incompetence, and he has to do is a GOOD JOB and the truth will out.  Rush will never be silent - he'll be buried with a microphone - but he is already far less relevant.  He will not be able to do to President Obama was he did to President Clinton - because Obama is NOT Clinton, and the country was brought nearly to ruin by the last Republican "Dream Team."  Let the ignorant listen, mock and vote as they will.  They are already fewer in number, and diminshed in relevence.

God bless President Obama and the United States of America.

      Good Lord...

Hello conservatives out there.  Is anybody home?

Are you starting to understand now why you've gotten your asses pulverized in the last 2 elections?

...The reason is due to Mr. Limbaugh.  He's the greatest assest we liberals have.  Thank you Rash.

      Palin - Limbaugh in 2012...

This is what worries me more than anything.  This is something that Obama has got to be worried about.

She's got the star power, and Mr. Limbaugh has got the passion and intellectual heft that can re-energize conservatism...

...Excuse me, I feel it coming on,  I've got to go take a crap.

If all this is the voice of the modern CONSERVATIVE movement, then they are in deep trouble. I propose a theme song for the CPAC  conference of 2009," SEND IN THE CLOWNS, DONT  BOTHER, THERE HERE."

Hmmmm. .. overused phrases like "dirty little secret," "bend over and grab your ankles," "butt-boy," and "castrati."

I suspect we might hear something regarding farm animals very soon. I don't think it takes an expert to see that this guy has some issues. But listen Rush, we love you as the face of the Republican party - you go girl!!

Not to mention, Rush confused the preamble of the Constitution (which he professes to LOVE SO MUCH) with the Declaration.

He did happen to hit every red meat point that the republicans have been trying to make as of late though, so we've got to give him credit for that.

It doesn't get any better than this.

The Republican Party keeps bobbing to the surface, gasping for air and crying for help, and Limbaugh throws them an anchor.

Can there really be so many scared little boys who need Limbaugh's rants to make them feel safe?

The reasons the extremists are sounding so extreme is because...this all they have left. The republicant party has become an obscure minority, like their communist counterparts in former soviet block nations. The folks at CPAC are the 16% that give Dick Cheney a favorable nod in the polls. Most other republicans at least temporarily jumped ship and either voted for Obama or sat out the last election.
