Limbaugh: "If there's anybody who wants America as it was founded to fail, it's Barack Obama"

America as it was founded had an Articles of Confederation.  It DID  fail, and it took less than a decade.

As for the America founded on the Constitution, that failed too: it was an America which elected a President exclusively through the electoral college, with no popular vote.  It was an America which allowed State Legislatures the power to elect Senators, because the Common People were not to be trusted with the power to elect both Houses of Congress.  It was an America which gave the franchise exclusively to white men of property over the age of 21-- and in several states, one had to belong to the Established Church, too.  It was an America which denied legal rights to women and enslaved a third of the population based on the color of it's skin- not only enslaved it, but arranged for it's breeding and the sale of it's offspring.  That America collapsed in the Civil War.

Even the Constitution itself has been amended twenty-seven times, indicating that even the Sacred All-Knowing "Founders" understood that it was a flawed document that would need changing from time to time.  

Limbaugh is just a clueless blowhard- he doesn't know what he's talking about, and he has no incentive to educate himself because he's shoveled money as a reward for his ignorance.

Drugbaugh, the only "people" begging that this country fails is you and your fellow radical righties.

 

 

It's kind of impressive the way he manages to put together so many lies into a lie symphony. From the idea that all taxes and spending are against the Constitution to the idea that the system can't change in 200 plus years to the idea that the stock market crash happened on January 20th. It's the usual right wing false absolute where America is whatever they want it to be and all opposing ideas are a threat.
