The question isn't why so many women don't like Rush. That seems pretty obvious. The real question is why so many "men" DO like him.

The radicals really do love to worship their men.  The radical righties worship Ronny Raygun, Drugbaugh, Insean Vannity, King George, Dead-eye Dick Cheney, Coulter, etc, etc,

The republicans need Rush and the other right wing talking heads.

Without them they'd be a permanent minority party.

Without them Bush would have been impeached

How did Bush leave office with an approval rating in the mid 20's

      Who are those people ?

Rush is the "antidote" for self-deception. All the Bush Supporters cannot accept the fact that they supported one of the worst Presidents in our history whose policies have resulted in a massive fiscal failure, a sink-hole of a war, and our international reputation being dumped into the trash. Accepting these facts would involve having to admit they were wrong. Rush understands this.

His antidote is to talk big and "stand up" to those Liberals and show them we (the GOP dead-enders) are not wrong, have never been wrong, and are suffering under the lash of a Liberal conspiracy.

Rush does this not to rescue the GOP but to ensure that his personal wealth keeps rolling in. The more publicity he gets the more sponsors he gets and the more money he gets.

If he thought that completely destroying the GOP would be good for his own business he would do so without a second thought.
