Would it make Rushbo happy if they renamed the drug addict and recovery portion of the bill the "Limbaugh Drug Recovery Program"?

      Stay classy, wing-nuts!

I'd be happy with that, especially if it were a memorial to him.  Ha, ha, just kidding, don't have a heart attack and die, Rush.

HARLEY's comment above is funny, but I immediately saw that the word "memorial" had been neglected from it: and VICTOR picked up on this, but then felt compelled to add that it's just a joke...

Me, I'm neither cruel nor insensitive (I think), and have Charity for all, and malice for none (except those who have malice for me, and my loved ones), but I'll say without any reservation whatsoever:

That if the person known as rush limbaugh were to have a heart attack and die this very day, this very hour...

I would do a happy dance.

4 out of 5 doctors would probably bet good money that Kennedy's memorial will take place after Rush's.

      You are super classy Rush.

Here's the rub though. Thing is, Senator Kennedy has done a lot more for this country, than you ever thought of doing. Regardless of his past, and what he has, or has not done in his personal life, he is a true patriot, and a true man of American values. He is the lion of the Senate. He'll die fighting for what he believes in, and in trying to make this country a better place.

What have you done Rush? Nothing. Nadda. Zippo. Zilch. All you do is spread hate, and lies on the airwaves, that we, the people of the US, provide to you. It's easy to get a job criticizing the policies, and what our government, and our people are doing, but it's hard to get a job actually DOING something.

Therein lies the problem with you Rush. You don't contribute anything meaningful to political debate in this country. You don't form policy, and even when you think you have a good idea for policy (as in your economic plan), it's ridiculously lacking in anything resembling sense. You're a pretentious bloviating windbag. And that's it.

Kennedy, on the other hand, will go down in history as one of our great Senators. You'll be a footnote in history.

Hey, Magnolia: Would you mind giving your "classy" lecture to the despicable hypocrites at the top of this thread? It's not exactly full of class to wish your political enemies to be dead, to want to desecrate their graves, etc. Disgusting. This is supposed to be some sort of bastion of intelligent political discussion?

No. I don't think that they would at all. I do believe that even though most, if not ALL of the republican Congress people fundamentally disagree with Senator Kennedy on probably just about everything, I do think that they respect him, and when he does talk, they do listen. I don't even think Boehner would be this classless, although if there were one that would agree with Limbaugh, it would probably be him.

I agree completely. I didn't state that very well.

They do have a lot of respect for Kennedy and would never say anything so vile - I just wonder if when asked they will condemn Limbaugh for the comments or dodge the question.

If the Human Cyst is remembered at all it will be for trying to destroy the American economy. He'll share the infamy of Benedict Arnold and Typhoid Mary and George W. Bush.

Let's face it! Democrats think the government, in this country, should work for the good of the people! Republicans think, in this country, we don't need a government! Have you ever noticed how disparaging the Republicans are when they talk about our “government”, and they are so scornful of anything concerning our “government”?

You're forgetting though, how much the Republicans thought it was a great idea for everybody to rally around the president and allow him to expand the government tremendously. I wish the Republicans hated government. That would at least be a belief. The only thing they believe in is their own power. They love the government that they're in charge of, and hate the government they're not in charge of.

That was a despicably insensitive and uncaring remark to make about Ted Kennedy.

Rush sure does have an odd psychological issue with the concept of people caring for other people, doesn't he?

Speaking of caring... We all know there's only one thing that Rush Limbaugh cares about.

And it certainly isn't the well-being of Dittoheads.

Anyway, come help us identify (and get the word out) about the true nature of the "man" who is the indisputable head of the GOP:

Rush Limbaugh is exactly why the Republicans lost the election and if they ever wish to become a player in today's political arena, the RNC Chairman needs to step up to the plate. He needs to call a press conference, first thing Monday morning, and with Arlen Spector standing beside him, denounce, not only Rush Limbaugh, but the entire base. If not, then the Republicans will never be a competitive force in this country ever again. Simple.

      Everybody dies.

What Limbaugh was doing was GLOATING over the illness and possible death of Ted Kennedy.

But Kennedy, when he dies, as we all will, including Limbaugh...Kennedy will die with his large and extended family who love him all around him.  And they will always love him, forever.

Where and with whom will Limbaugh die.....And who will love him ?

Limbaugh says he reveres Reagan.  Would Reagan gloat over the illness of Ted Kennedy ?

Low brow rightwing scumbuckets live on trash talk.

But they die alone in huge empty mansions.

I don't begrudge any amount of honest legal money anyone makes. BUT, how can you listen to someone with an eight year, 400 million contract lecture you on health care or any other financial woes that is facing our nation. He (Rush) can not possibly understand the pain on the ground. He makes his living preying on the gullible who obviously can't think for themselves and are confused about the facts and reality. If he isas patriotic as he claims, he should back off until the person who was elected under our system of elections by the majority, at least has a chance to try and repair what has been broken. Then if there is failure, have at it. Simply said, nothing Rush says is going to change the Presidents resolve. Right now this country needs positive vibes, not negative rhetoric and dreams of failure. Tokyo Rose. Palm Beach Rush. HUH??

Rush is just full of hate that what he was doing was saying that he hopes Kennedy dies soon. Kennedy made one mistake and the right uses this to blast him every time that is hate not compassion. Rush should have every tax year that can legaly be auditited. Then if he is off by even one cent he needs to be prossicuted to the full extent of the law.
