Maybe because the market has been in downfall since long before Obama took office? Maybe huh? Just maybe? Here's the thing though. While democrats were telling the people of this country that our economy was hurting, people like the Bush administration were telling the American people the direct opposite. They were telling is that the economy was strong, and safe, and now we know, that wasn't true. Right up until everything came crashing down, up until like the week before we had to bail out major banks and corporations, the republicans were telling us that everything was great. Fine. Super. And dandy.

It would be like if someone jumped off the Empire State building and Fox told you all about how they fell 10 feet since hitting the swimming pool.

It wouldn't have anything to do with THE WORST GLOBAL RECESSION IN HISTORY now would it??? Good grief.

The market fell in 2008 because of the BUSH policies. This is not difficult to understand. It just doesn't match their agenda @ Fox.

To be fair, it wasn't entirely because of the Bush policies, but a lot of what he did while in office, did have an effect. This economic disaster is very much mutli faceted. What these guys fail to remember for some reason, is that the market was falling HARD long before Obama took office.

That is being far too generous, Magnolia. Just think that when the sub-prime, bank run and global crisis started at the end of 2007, the Bush admin:

          1. Did nothing
          2. Blamed Dems for the problems
          3. Kept pooring money into Iraq
          4. Denied we were in a recession

And before that happened, the Bush admin

          1. Spent trillions of $$ in Iraq
          2. Gave big tax breaks to big biz to ruin our surplus
          3. Pushed hard for a "home ownership society"
          4. Understaffed the SEC
          5. Gave more tax gifts in 2008 which led to NO extra spending

Do you still believe it was not their policies that caused our troubles?
