It was either McCain or Joe the Financial Advisor.
Heck, Fox, why not just bring in all your pundits? Why even bother with politicians? You guys don't depend on economists anymore. Just sit Ann Coulter and Glenn Beck in a room with Chris Wallace.
What is very apparent...there is a new GOP talking point. I have heard it quite a bit today. It goes something like this.
Timothy Geitner and President Obama do not have the confidence of Wall Street. As the GOP is now endlessly repeating, every time they make an announcement, the market tanks.
So what are we to glean from this inference? Hmmm.
The people who put us in this situation allegedly do not like the Obama administration.
Could it be because they know their days of getting away with everything are gone?
Yeah, that's a really smart talking point. Go ahead, Boehner and friends, that will really resonate with the public.
They ask the biggest know nothing around about economic issues???? Every lobbyists pet senator on a leash...whose research consists of a magic answering 8-ball that you rub for answers.
Grandpas answers are "The fundamentals of the economy are...er...all Georgians now, my friends."
The campaigns also showed us how inept and ignorant this man actually is. Stop embarrassing him by asking him questions or oputting him on TV without his pet mouse.
These Republicans (FoxNoise, Wall Street Journal) are "scared" too because of the 'Stress Tests' information that may come out next week. I think all of the gloom coming from Wall Street is just a cover-up for what's coming.
I wonder what a Congressional Hearing would show if the financial institutions were looked into showing how the Dow was at 14,000 pts in Oct. 2007 and now 6,500 pts in Mar. 2009. I bet trillion of dollars have been lost in the year and a half with the Dow droppings. Hmmm, I wonder if "speculating" was going on in the Dow, like for the Gas?
