This is what happens, when in response to MURDER (be it a single MURDER or three thousand MURDERS), there is no Investigation of the MURDERS, and no Identification of the MURDERERS: you get endless and foolish speculations about "whodunnit", instead of JUSTICE.
And for the Record, there actually was an Investigation of the MURDERS, and an Identification of the MURDERERS: following the attacks of September 11, 2001, the Senate and House Intelligence Committees combined to form the Joint Congressional Inquiry (JCI) into the attacks of September 11 2001, and issued a Report on those attacks...
The Conclusion Section of that Report (Part Four) identified the foreign government that financed and directed the attacks of 9/11: but George W. Bush "redacted" (classified and blacked-out) the entire Conclusion Section of that Report, all 28 pages, under the excuse that to make the Conclusions of the JCI's Report public, would compromise our Investigations (what Investigations?) into the attacks of 9/11...
And when he said that, he said that the Conclusion of the Report would be declassified sometime, when the time was right.
In the meantime, we have all of these stupid speculations about "whodunnit".
To forgo JUSTICE in even a single MURDER, is to put salt in the wounds of the family friends and loved ones of those who were MURDERED: and to forgo JUSTICE in the three thousand MURDERS of 9/11, is to put salt in the wounds of America (and especially in the wounds of all JUSTICE loving Americans).
Gaffney's argument sounds like ones made by truthers, only with less substance.
Anyone else notice that poor David Corn couldn't get a word in edgewise?
Not only did it seem like Matthews was addressing all the points to Gaffney, but Gaffney kept interrupting Corn during rebuttals, with hardly a peep from Matthews about it.
It looked like a Gaffney interview, with David Corn along only to act as a witness.
