Social Security is  Bankrupt?  Oh my god, stop the presses--

oh wait, it's Hannity saying it.  That's "there is no Global Warming" and "Bill Ayers and Barack Obama are best friends" and "the WMDs were moved to Syria" and "the size of the federal government shrank under Ronald Reagan" Sean Hannity.  I think we can dismiss this one.

Hey Sean, why don't you stick with pretending that Nancy Pelosi is the first House Speaker to use a military plane?  Next thing you know, you'll be telling us that Al Gore thinks Social Security is "some kind of big government program," or something.

" more coverage of one company or corporation which does not reflect corporate America than there is of government"

By that logic , which is sound, I'll rebutt with one program or agency does not reflect the whole of gvovernment.

He seems to at least get that there are unintended ripple effects to everything, so why not recognize what your party has done? OH WAIT, ya can't. This guy is a real peice of work. From terrorism, to Iraq, to colleges ( a la Horowitz pimping his book) - anti-intellectualism abounds with him.

Can't people at least come up with a new metaphor?  The "drunken sailor" line is just so tired.  This is what Orwell meant in "Politics and the English Language:" trite phrases like this get so well-lodged into political discourse that there's not much more than recitation going on.  No one actually thinks.  I know it's not news that Hannity's a pretty shallow thinker, but these dying metaphors obscure the fact that he 's not saying anything of substance.

By Federal Government he must mean the Bush administration.  Remember when there was a surplus?  Remember how funny everybody thought it was when Gore said he was going to 'put it in a lockbox?'  Now they're complaining?  Up yours Hannity.
