Lou Dobbs is like a broken record who complains incessantly about "illegal immigrants." Because he is so focused on this issue and so often on his show, he just seems to have a phobia against people of Mexican descent.
I live in a county in NC where there is a high influx of these people. They have moved into old houses, painting, replacing windows, and cleaning up yards. They attend worship and have brought growth to many churches. Yes, there are those who drive without licenses while intoxicated and they commit crimes. But so do white, middle-aged men.
I just believe many of these people need a chance. I also believe that they are trying to survive and it is difficult for them to escape their hopeless situation.
Lou Dobbs is privileged, white, and male. He has no idea the injustices these people live with. Besides that, the 4 representatives who want to investigate Sheriff Arpaio are ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES of their states who have every right to do their duty according to the law. If they are Democrat and liberal their constituents must be too.
I believe CNN has displayed enough ranting by this bloated, overpaid stuffed shirt. Send him out into the field to talk to real people. His guests are only those who think like him. How about a real challenge and reality therapy, Lou?
Yup, with all of that due process CRAP that the Communists love so much!
I am a bit of a history buff, and I cannot remember Stalin doing a lot of in depth investigations in his time. I think Lou may want to do a little research.
I have to admit I am not well-versed in Arpaio's illegal immigration efforts. I have heard him speak on the drug war and he is an ignorant fool on that topic. I have to say I am not accustomed to sheriffs doing the illegal immigration enforcement. I have never seen that before.
I think this is part of the problem when you elect law enforcement officials. Law enforcement should be run by law enforcement professionals who move up the chain of command based on merit and service, not based on appealing to the public for reelection. Particularly when dealing with the law, there are many times when want the public wants does NOT serve the interest of justice.
