And I'd like for someone to have the stones to come out and say that Tucker Carlson's a dick.

Oh, I forgot, Jon Stewart already did that on one of Tucker's "Crossfire" editions on CNN.

Perhaps its because Stewart doesn't leave himself open to that by saying obviously stupid things.

Jon Stewart IS a pompous jerk.  But Tucker Carlson is hardly the one to call him that.  He's way too open to a "takes one to know one" retaliation.

Meanwhile, why isn't MMFA pointing out that Eric Cantor was back on tv this morning with another chapter of the endless "Train from Disney World to Vegas" story?  And pointing out that, once again, this talking point was left undebunked by the host?

Seems more relevant than a defense of Jon Stewart, who really needs no defending.

Please give Stephanie Miller a permanent television show. Her radio show is hilarious and she keeps her cool, unlike all the shrieking boys.

Sorry, I can't agree.  While the conservatives are bashing Obama and lying about the economy and the stimulus package and everything else, Miller and her idiot sidekicks are laughing at beaver and fart jokes that wouldn't elicit a shrug from your average Howard Stern fan.  We can do a lot better than Miller and her Celebrity Stack, Tinsel Talk, bordering-on-racist Kim Jung Il impersonations and (again) beaver, fart and vomit jokes.  MUCH better.

I'm a liberal and a talk-radio devotee, but I can't stand Miller because she wastes too much time reaching for the cheap jokes and not enough combating the right-wing smear machine.  If I want laughs, I'll turn on the comedy channel.

Stephanie Miller is generally unlistenable. Don't get me wrong -- I WANT to listen and I want progressive voices in the media. But Miller and her crew consistently degenerate into mindless banter about celebrity gossip or juvenile Beavis and Butthead jokes about beavers or farting or boobs.

But the funny thing about Miller is that despite her show containing content that would appeal only to the average 12 year old, she still gets better ratings than the likes of Laura Ingraham, yet Ingraham is carried on more stations. Imagine how much higher Miller's ratings would be if she was serious about the content of her show. Imagine how much bigger her audience would be if the market really determined who succeeds and who fails.

Since Miller was mentioned I'll chime in,, I don't particularly care for Rush, but how come MM and all the other supposed media watchdogs were silent on her call to have him executed for treason? And don't bother telling me because it was a joke because we all know if the idealogical roles were reversed the left would be outraged....

Oh brother. Here's the Miller quote from Larry King Live:

"To me that seems treasonous. If I could say something tonight that gets me that kind of attention, like maybe Rush Limbaugh should be executed for treason. How about that?"

If you read that and claim that Miller was calling for Limbaugh's execution, then you're just being dishonest. Are you at all clear on the concept of "turning the tables"? Have you conveniently forgotten all the cries of "Treason!" and calls for execution from the right (Malkin, Coulter, Hannity, Limbaugh himself, et. al.)? Miller is asking what the reaction would be if the tables were turned. Surely you can wrap your mind around that.

You're either a moron or a liar.  Which is it?

My guess is, a little from Column A, a little from Column B.

Clams has already answered the substance of your question, not that it will do you any good.  You clearly see your function in life as bleating talking points. Pathetic.

Since Miller was mentioned I'll chime in, I don't particularly care for Mann Coulter, but how come Bluhawk or the MSM and all the other supposed media watchdogs were silent on Mann Coulter's call to have Clinton  executed for treason? And don't bother telling me because it was a joke because we all know if the idealogical roles were reversed the Right would be outraged....

Harley, you guys really crack me up! You actually take this stuff seriously!!! You have the same whimsical type of reply to anything you don't like using clipped quotes and video bites while making personal attacks and calling names. You just don't get it, I'll be posting for a long time just so I can read your lame rants and get a good laugh!! keep me rolling buddy! (btw unlike most of you people I do refrain from the name calling, very childish and immediately relegates your argument to circular file status, I know it's hard but try to post with a little integrity)

Someone tell me why we would give even 1/2 a rats a$$ what Tucker thinks?

Any why does the MSM give someone like this has-been time to respond on natl TV when O'reilly & Limbuagh finger-wag at the Dems EVERY DAY with never giving equal time to the Left to respond?

So, Tucker Carlson needs someone with stones to come out and say something insulting about Jon Stewart for him.  I guess his personal inventory did not amount to the necessary amount to say it himself.

And, what has Tucker ever done in his life ?

Also, guess he ditched the bow tie a while back.

      Stewart should smack him

Pass the popcorn, this should be worth watching.

Stewart and the writers at TDS must be thinking they woke up on Christmas morning. Can't wait to see where this is going to end up.
