Oh... poor ole Hannity... constantly being schooled on those few rare times he makes the mistake of bringing someone on his pathetic little show that is not a complete suck-up!
When will Sean learn? Scratch that... who cares!
While I won't dispute that Geithner may have known about the potential for the bonuses occurring (as they seem to be about to happen)... it sounded to me, based on the video clip that Sean ran of the TresSec... that Geithner was talking about transparency in any upcoming bailout money.
I also admit that does not excuse his possibly knowing... but compared to the Bush regime... it is a breathe of fresh air to hear the word transparency having some legitimate meaning.
When Bush or any of his minions said it... it was a slap in our collective faces...
Obama and his people... comes across as real. So far.
Lanny Davis has sold his soul to the highest bidder. He tries to hedge his bets by contradicting Hannity and others on the right once in a blue moon.
It's like how they always describe Dick Morris as a Clinton advisor, like that gives him credibility. Sean Hannity tries to gain credibility by having Lanny Davis on his show as a counterpoint. He's more impotent than Alan Colmes was!
No more than gay anonymous sex in airport bathroom stalls...?
The hipocrisy of the right and their stance against homosexutality.
Fairlibrul is pretending to playing stupid...check that, she's not pretending.
When you use facts and reality, by default, that makes you a liberal.
FL shows once again how to play the part of conservative troll: act as disengenuous as possible.
Name here in this thread, FL, the number of shows FNC has that are hosted by a liberal, please.
Paulson just did what then NY Federal Reserve boss, "Turbo-Tax Timmy" Geithner told him to do. As the NY Times reported on November 25th, 2008, Geithner was the primary author of the bailout and the go-to-man/liason between AIG and the Treasury.
& Chris Dodd put the icing on the cake when he inserted his amendment into the Porkulus Bill last month that exempted AIG executive bonuses from gov't control. Of course, Dodd's having been the largest recipient of AIG campaign cash last year had nothing to do with it (snicker, snicker).
You do realize Ben Bernanke was the Head of the Federal Reserve right?
Chris Dodd's amendment, as pointed out on this site had you not gone directly to criticism, actually limited the bonuses for executive pay. Perhaps you should inform yourself on these matters.
Republicans MUST pretend and think as if the last eight years never happened...because it is direct EVIDENCE that what they BELIEVE simply doesn't work!!!!
Their amazing power for blaiming things on the previous President seems to have gone away. Clinton was responsible for first half of Bush Administration, Obama for the second.
These people are cultic lonnies.
