The leader of the Republican party...
You know, exploration is the cornerstone of revolution and discovery. If people were not risking their lives for science and society, we wouldn't have anything! We'd all be lumps of ignorance sitting around the house like Rush.
Not just evil, but ignorant. These guys (Limbaugh, Hume, Will, Dobbs, they all do the same thing) either can't understand or intentionally ignore the difference between weather and climate. It's cold at the North Pole, therefore there is no global warming? Oh, please.
They really ought to be more careful who they call dingbats and idiots.
In addition to his trademark inhumanity, Limbaugh displays his ignorance. The three scientists are risking their lives, not to "prove global warming" - since by now the evidence is so overwhelming that only an idiot would remain unconvinced - but to assess how much it's progressed and how fast it's progressing. Virtually every recent study has found that climate change is proceding even faster than the worst-case scenarios based on current models would predict. It's vital to know how bad things are, if we're to make rational decisions. Limbaugh doesn't care about any of this. He just wants to make cheap points with his equally uninformed listeners.
