Ingraham guest host Bruce on the Obamas: "We've got trash in the White House"

From the March 23 broadcast of Talk Radio Network's The Laura Ingraham Show:
BRUCE: But here's Michelle Obama explaining to some kids what it was like for her growing up because she sounded like a white person, whatever that means.
OBAMA [audio clip]: I did do my best, getting good grades was always important to me, and it wasn't because my parents were -
BRUCE: It's all about her.
OBAMA [audio clip]: -- hounding me or that they had the expectation, it was just something that I wanted for myself. I wanted an A. And I didn't care whether it was cool, ‘cause I remember there were kids around my neighborhood who would say, "Ooh, you talk funny, you talk like a white girl." I heard that growing up my whole life, and I was like I don't even know what that means, but you know what? I'm still getting my A.
BRUCE: What? What? What -- what is that? And then she devolves into that weird fake accent, like Hillary did when talking to black people. What? What is that? That's, that -- you know what that is.
DAVID AFTER DENTIST [audio clip]: Is this going to be forever?
BRUCE: Yeah, that - remember nitrous oxide kid, on You Tube. No it's not going to be forever, nitrous oxide kid. It's not. Can you -- can you believe that?
OBAMA [audio clip]: So do I need to introduce myself?
BRUCE: What a shame. That must've just ruined her damn day. "I wanted the A for myself, and I wanted to do it, and ooh, they said you sounded like a white person, I don't know what that means, but uhh." Huh?
Man, oh, man. That's who he's married to, what does that tell you? This is what we've got -- you know what we've got? We've got trash in the White House. Trash is a, is a thing that is color blind, it can cross all eco -- ecosocionomic kind of categories, you can work on Wall Street or work at the Wal-Mart. Trash are people who use other people to get things, who patronize others, who consider you bitter and clingy.
I'm surprised tammy didn't try to establish her street cred by always mentioning how she used to be a liberal Democrat.
Just who the HELL are you referring to as YOU PEOPLE..... It is really sad that you are so ignorant and THANK GOD that despite your misconception this is not YOUR country. NEVER has been and NEVER will be.... I am so glad that GOD has the final word about all things here on earth and to save us from being ruled by idiots & ignorant people are entire life. As for this very simple minded people on the Laura Ingraham show ignorance is bliss and this Tammy person is the most phony person I have ever heard.

And on a side note, I didn't think anyone could sound as annoying as Mark Levin until now. Levin is like listening to nails on a chalk board, Bruce is like a dental drill played through a PA system.
Levin has become more unhinged since the election. It's as if every time he opens his yap about Obama and the Democrats the rightwingers get jinxed, their numbers go deeper into the sewer. No wonder I am against bringing back the FD. These morons are gifts that keep on giving without fail.
I thought "trash" was the core constiuency of Ingraham's radio show, no? Now her guest host is slamming it?
Oh riiiiiight ... she's redefined trash to be someone who grew up in an environment of unequality and struggled to do well because she was outcast as being "white" when she did well or did not speak slang.
But Ms Bruce surely understands that plight soooo well ... That's now trash in her world. Good grief.

Do's and don't's of talk radio:
1. DON'T talk right into the microphone when expressing fake outrage. America's ears will thank you, even if the ear doctors of the world do not.
2. DON'T talk over recordings if you're making a point. Worse than Laura's nasal "uh-huh" comments.
3. DO look for a job that doesn't involve you talking.
"Talking over me doesn't make your points any more persuasive."

Am loving it!!! These conservative loudmouths just cannot (and never will) reconcile to the fact that a 'normal', down-to-earth, successful, intelligent, charismatic black couple is in the White House.

Perhaps Ms. Bruce could explain what is so outrageous about what Michelle Obama said. I honestly don't get her reaction. Sounds like a perfectly normal talk for an adult to give to younger people to encourage them to study and work hard. She gives herself as an example. And that's worthy of outrageous laughter? I don't know much about her but she does seem like an appropriate filler for Ingraham.
Of course the audience is so conditioned to this type of reaction and takes it as further evidence of the Obama's "trash"iness (whatever that is). I guess that's the strategy. Take any comments, in or out of context as needed, repeat them, express outrage, gloom and doom, declare the end of civilization starting with the U.S., etc. then collect your next paycheck and as long as the ratings hold, sign your next contract.

This, to me, was a stunning example of corporate media talker projection.
Trash talk! The corporate media has gone far beyond infotainment and has embraced trash talk, and the talkers that talk trash.
Who knew arrested development would be a plus on their resume back when they were making life hell for everyone in middle school.

Let me explain what "sounds like a white girl" means. Usually the person such a comment is addressed to is teased for being articulate and having a command of the English language. Blacks from disadvantaged socioeconomic structures are accustomed to those in their surroundings, fellow black people, speaking with poor grammar and black nuances. So when they hear a black, educated person articulate, that person is automatically an anomaly, as they sound like what this group identifies with white.
This is something that articulate blacks are offended by. However, if anything, it compliments white people, so this vile and anti-patriotic rant against our First Lady, as though she's some sista off tha street, is just a show of deeper hatred and resentment common among racists such as yourself, Tammy. You are the only one sounding like trash.
Bruce is such a rascist, hater. She must have personal issues with successful women. Probably jealous because her own career almost tanked. Now she's trying to steal Rush Limbaugh's thunder by spewing nonsense over the airwaves. Bruce is just another negative, inflammatory talking head that distracts us and distorts reality.

I am not surprised to find that the person spewing all of this trash is just as ugly, and ignorant, and out of date. as Don Imus. Bruce ( I refuse to recognize her with any respectful surname as Ms. etc.) is one the most ignorant people I heard speak since Don Imus, and she shouldn't be allowed to voice any more of her idioticies,(she may call opinions) live on radio, television or anywhere. Everything that First Lady Obama said was true to not only her adolescence but to many of African Americans her struggled with the choices of being cool or being smart. Bruce is not African American, so she wouldn't understand what that means, but just as all ignorant people she scouffs at what she doesn't understand.
It's really sad that in this time of crisis when ALL Americican should be concentrating on the future of this country,some (Republicans) are more concerned of the color of the Barack Obama's skin. People like Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity and that idiot O'Riley need to remember that the hatred they are spewing has serious consequences. This counrty as a whole, with the excetion of a few, wants to get pass the notion that a persons skin color doesn't matter. AND IT SHOULD NOT!
