      I'm not familiar with Mr. Boortz, but from my knowledge of right wing radio audiences, I would have to guess that he just insulted a large percentage of his.  I'd be interested to know if this causes any backlash against him or any radio stations that syndicate his show.  Heck, I'm guessing a certain number of the people that work at his home station might fall into the sub-$75k income bracket.  How do they feel about his comments?

        Boortz is a joke.  If you make $75K you are doing pretty well for yourself.  What Boortz does not realize is that people who make $75K a year usually live within their means.  He can't understand how you can even live, much less within your means, if you make $75K a year.  Notice how every right wing radio hosts had a few years where they were "in the poor house"?  They were probably making what 90% of AMericans would consider good money.  How come one person gets a bonus worth my salary times 100?  I make plenty of money to make two mortgage payments but I am not close to making $75K myself.  Today's captalism is not your father's, neither is conservatism.

        Boortz is the guy who said that in the event of something like Katrina the government should save the rich because they are "producers". He's one of the most blatant of the corporate elitists.

      the quote to me is "The ones he is talking about would be thrilled to make $75000 per year." Who are these "ones" Barack Obama is talking about? I really wish Boortz would explain who these lazy, uneducated, people are who only want handouts. Hmm, I wonder who Boortz is talking about?

      "Boortz" is the sound that we all produce when we fart while relaxing in a hot bath.

      Its a far more pleasant noise than anything that comes out of this cretin's mouth.

      So Boortz thinks almost every teacher, fireman, policemann, autoworker, lineman, retailer, journalist, factory worker, child care worker, truckdriver, lawyer, etc is a beer drinking, pizza eating, uneducated, lazy bum who lives in a trailer. Well, guess what, if it wasn't for these people there would be no America for him to spout his ignorant crap to. I imagine he just offended 99% of his audience all of which must be the least educated people on earth. By the way, I own my own business and some times I make less than 75000 because I did not get a bonus. I don't geta bonus if I (or the economy) doesn't do well which has been the last four years of Bush.
