      What do these people actually do to deserve being on TV and paid lots of money if they don't know what they're talking about.

      Amazing, the hacks are shameless aren't they?

      It was the Bush Administration who let the bonuses happen.  Chris Dodd and Treasury stopped them going forward.

      End result:  Right-wing flunkies in corporate media--like Bartiromo--use and distort anything they can to make Democrts appear on the defensive.

      Perfect example of why our country is so screwed up.

        Then why did I see a blurb in the middle of the day about Franks wanting to repeal a Dodd amendment to the stimulus package concerning said bonuses?  I'm trying to find the blurb again, but it seems to have rolled off the radar.

          Oscar,

          I'd definitely check the radar you're using.  It may be set dangerously on right wing-nut.

          Maybe you can't find it because it was just one of the "drive by smears" that floats around these days.  Like Rushy-kins says.

          Except Ol'Fathead has got it wrong.  The "drive by media" isn't liberal, it's conservative.
