Well, considering that some of us _are_ more fortunate that many...

I generally only see the kids later in the day while being carted around by their moms with their shopping carts.

      You effing misanthrope.

From Limbaugh to O' Reilly, the standard operating procedure of conservatives for addressing homelessness is to pretend it doesn't exist.

      It comes from here: http://www.familyhomelessness.org/

Of course, Boss Limbaugh can't see any homeless people from the sofa in his living room hiding behind his golden microphone.

And Drugbaugh first refused to accept the fact of dubyah's approval rating when it hit 30%.

Christian conservatism at it's finest. Deny homeless children exist, deny homeless veterans exist, claim if a woman is raped it's her fault, yada yada yada.

When was the last time Rush even went under a bridge, aside from scoring drugs perhaps?

What's wrong with Limbaugh's question implying that not many children live under a bridge? The homelessness statistics cited by MM includes "children whose families are staying with friends or family members, in hotels and motels, in trailer parks or in "substandard" housing."

But Media Matters suggests, by featuring Limbaugh in this story, that he was way off:

I think that's the point. Limbaugh equates homelessness with living under a bridge in order to discredit the "bogus" statistic.
