Of course all of you already know, that a Republican Party that presently seems to have no platform other than stubborness obstruction hatred vile and bile, in fact has as it's top priority, fighting against Federal Regulations of any kind (EPA, SEC, FCC, you name it).

And you also know that the present loss of so much of the American People's private CAPITAL on Wall Street by the many financial services companies and banks that do business there (CAPITAL lost out of mismanaged and even embezzled funds that contained so much of our 401k contributions and other retirement or investment savings), you now that lost CAPITAL is due primarily to two reasons:

      1. There was no Regulation, Federal or otherwise, of those many funds that contained so much of the American People's private CAPITAL...

and 2. A Republican President oversaw this failure of Regulatory control, as he oversaw an invisible and worthless SEC and CFTC (Commodities Futures Trading Commission) and every other Agency and Commission that did nothing to stop all of this CAPITAL from being mismanaged and embezzled.

And you all know this already: but I type these words to observe to you, that for Republicans presently to fight so much against Federal Regulatory efforts, is perverse: and (to make an anology) seems a little like an arsonist, who when the Fire Department shows up to put out the fire, emplores them to "Let it burn!"

      It's perverse what they're doing.

Wait a minute here. Weren't or aren't these the guys who keep claiming Frank didn't want to regulate Fannie and Freddie, and hence, the massive financial mess we're in now? But somehow, calls for more regulation is bad again? I'm confused, and I think that they are as well.
