I actually watched this- Hannity said "the Democrats call the Republicans 'the party of No'- what will they say now that the Republicans have put out an alternative budget?"

Of course, they've done nothing of the sort.  The plan is a budget only if you think that a budget does not need numbers or specifics.  Could this "alternative plan" be passed into law and put into effect?  No.  It's NOT A BUDGET.  IT'S A JOKE.

      Coincidentally, so is Hannity.

Oh BTW, for those who missed it- Hannity had Bachmann on as a guest.  At the end of their alternate-reality lovefest, Hannity thanked Bachmann for being willing to be "attacked" by the media--

Hannity: "they'll keep attacking you because you are so effective."  Bachmann: "I'm going to keep fighting for our freedom."  Hannity: "From Tyranny. Exactly."

Ugh. Get a room.  Make sure it's padded, though.

An alternative budget with no numbers. And the Republicans are the party of fiscal responsibility? Ah ha ha ha ha!

All it is is a collection of talking points -- BS rhetorical calls for low taxes that "increase revenue", decreases to domestic spending, increases in military spending, getting rid of social security, "tort reform", the elimination of "Democrat" waste, fraud and abuse, the elimination of "Democrat" "pork barrel" spending.

I could have made up that "budget" in a half hour by going the web sites for Limbaugh and Hannity, Jindal, Barbour, Boehner, and McConnell, and then using my copy and paste buttons.

For those who don't know: http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/archives/individual/2009_03/017463.php

It wasn't 19 pages of nothing, it was 19 pages of saying "no". The republicans are actually unable to ascend to the level of total failure. They are 180 degrees opposite, BELOW total failure. 19 blank pages would say "yes" better than they did.

Of course Hannity likes it, it's the only thing related to economics he's ever been able to understand. None of that numbers and math crap! That's for those fancy college edumacated elites.

We already know that Sean Hannity is a fraud and a liar and something beyond a joke.  Sean Hannity knows that as well.  There was however, something that showed truly how much of a fraud Sean Hannity is.  He was talking about the jet that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi uses.  The one that the Republican Bush Administration began giving to House Speakers to use after 9/11 for security reasons, since the Speaker is second in line to be President.  The one that Dennis Hastert, a Republican Speaker, used for 5 and a half years after 9/11.  He was whining about Nancy Pelosi using a plane, and then said "Newt Gingrich didn't have a plane" without even thinking twice about it.

He deliberately and dishonestly skips over Dennis Hastert, and goes straight to Newt Gingrich, who was Speaker BEFORE 9/11, so of course he didn't have a plane.  He knew the policy was done after 9/11 so Gingrich could not have used a private plane, he knew Dennis Hastert used one after 9/11 for over 5 years, and he knew the Bush Administration started the policy and Nancy Pelosi had nothing to do with it.  Yet he still savagely said, just skipping right over Dennis Hastert and going straight to Newt Gingrich.  This is one of the most blatant examples of how much of a WEASEL AND LYING FRAUD this sad excuse for a many truly is.  There are many other examples, but this one is one of the most outrageous.

      THANK YOU.

MMFA has done qwuite a few "Pelosi's plane" writeups over the past couple months, but it's interested to note that they not only ignore Hastert's plane, but that actually skip over him and go right to Gingrich so they don't have to deal with his plane.

They also (it seems) skip right over Bob Livingston, who was (de Facto) Speaker for about 15 minutes, so they can make it look like not only do only Democrat's fly planes, but only Democrats cheat on their spouses.  (OK - Gingrich also did that, but since he was never punnished for it, I guess it doesn't count.)

They also skip right over George W. Bush. In any discussions of the economy, or the deficit or the national debt.  Apparently they want you to think that if it's this mess isn't Obama's fault, that he must have inheritied it from Bill Clinton.

Sure, Mr.Hannity. They could have just picked one item and detailed it how they would be different for example and then just asked for similar concepts. Budget without numbers is like burger with only lettuce and tomatos in bun.

The Republicans are bringing out a budget on wednesday right?

Then thats o.k, it was a bit stupid if they claimed they were bringing out their budget on this day and showed up with a blueprint, thats just bad communications.

But give them a chance to actually show a budget, I mean eventually they will have to stop with ridiculing Obama, shouting socialism, facism and everything else and talk seriously about the economy.

Its great for republicans who hear the word socialism from politicians and news reporters, its a big, fancy word to use in an arguement, instead of saying "They're wrong", but the problem is, loads of people, myself included don't know what the core principles and litteral meaning of socialism is, or facism, or communism (although I believe thats the same as socialism)

And when spreading out these words, can be dangerous because it can rile up some extremists, so I think, criticize Obama if needs be, even joke about his laugh, but using words like nazism, facism, Hitler, Socialism without explaining fully those terms is very wrong.

Oh and using "Hitler" as a description, is very very wrong to describe anyone, and if anyone doesn't know why then they're too stupid to have an opinion.

Thing is, most of those who would actually like for our country to be Nazi-ish, or fascistic are all over on the right wing end of things. Sure, they are a fringe group, like the Aryan Nation, and the KKK, but since Obama was elected, their membership numbers have gone through the roof.

Socialism is NOT the same as communism. Not even close really, not in the terms that we've seen communism enacted in different countries around the world (Former USSR, China, Vietnam, and a few other countries). Socialism, is more prevalent, or forms of it, in European countries, that are still open and free societies (Sweden, Denmark, France, Norway, and so on).

Anyway, please, republicans bring out your budget plan. I'd love to hear it, and see it, but this blueprint was just stupid to bring it out, because basically you're saying that all of the things that didn't work before, is what you want to bring out now, or bring back, which I must say, is stupid. Less taxes worked so well during the Bush administration, that we're in the mess we are now. That's not to blame totally, but it didn't help things very much.

Bring out your plan, and if it is still 19 pages, you've got some work to do. We don't want 2000 pages, but the federal budget, and all that it encompasses is a lot more complex than say, 19 pages.

I haven't read this so-called budget plan but I think I may have an idea what it contains. My first guess is TAX CUTS. Then maybe there's something in there about how much the president is destroying America. Am I right, Hannity?

It actually lowers the top income brackets down to 25% from the current 35% and would cost those making under $100k MORE in taxes than they pay today.
